Holiday rentals with breakfast in Penzance

Really comfortable and well presented home away from home. Plenty of space for us as a family of four and we loved the large open plan living and dining area. The bedding was SO soft and we slept well! We appreciated thoughtful touches such as kitchen spray, tea towels, salt and pepper (we always forget it!) and a lovely welcome hamper. The weather conspired against us but we made the best of it and helpful information from Jo and Cassie gave us ideas for places to explore. Thank you both! Sarah and Ben

Easy check in with clear instructions. House was very clean. Space on driveway to park our Ford Kuga (Escape). Charging was also available from the driveway. 5 min walk to private beach and coastal running/walking path. 10 min walk to Charlestown. Kids room with bunk beds, kids books, and toys in the under stairs closet. This place was perfect for our small family, including our 4 year old and my parents. Coffee maker and well stocked kitchen. 5 min drive to ASDA. Simple check out. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Matt’s house was lovely, comfortable, very clean and a great location for our first stay in Cornwall. The shower downstairs is a great bonus from Sandy days at the beach and where we all showered to be honest :-) kids loved their rooms too and had no problem sleeping after a full day of fun and the football table got our competitive natures going a few times too! Lots of space throughout the house and good use of a utility room with washing machine and dryer too. Beach is only a short walk away and the little village itself is quaint with great bakery’s (st Agnes bakery and further up round by the Spar a cute place called Martina’s which do amazing french paste ties too on certain days!) you must try the Peterville arms pub/restaurant opposite - staff are soooo friendly and food delicious and plentiful :-) We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to families for a comfortable, clean, home away from home stay. Thank you Matt and family for your little Cornwall gem :-)

We all had a fantastic time at Ocean’s Edge. Exactly what we wanted being right next to the beach. Perfect for the children and our dog. Friendly and helpful neighbours. Would definitely come back again. Thank you.

Louise was a great host. Street parking was easy to find but not always right out front. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had good space. Louise gave advice re local areas and places to eat. She is very friendly and helpful

Michelle was the perfect host and the studio apartment absolutely idyllic. I was attending a pottery course a few minutes walk, so a perfect location. The breakfast was soooo yummy and the little extra touches very thoughtful. The accommodation is spotlessly clean; bed really comfy giving a great nights sleep; shower was fabulous. Any questions I had, Michelle responded straight away, you couldn't hope or wish for anything more. I completely recommend both Michelle as a host and her accommodation (there is also a self catering cabin) without hesitation.

Elaine and Bernard were such lovely hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home, I'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend my friends and family stay here. Super comfortable, clean, and close to train station, the city centre eateries and shops and also the beautiful Victoria Gardens.

Wonderful place to stay to relax and explore the many attractions around the Lizard peninsular. Beautiful spacious home with a dog-friendly garden, comfortable and really well equipped for guests. Diana was a kind and welcoming host with great advice on local activities and a big folder of local info, walks, places to eat etc. We loved Helford, Porthallow, Lizard point and Kynance Cove especially. And the characterful pub at Manaccan. We’d love to stay again. Thank you Diana!

Mevagissey is a beautiful place!! Gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed the Lost gardens of Heligan and the coastal walk to Gorran Haven. We also visited St Ives and Tintagel castle - both amazing! Debbie and John are brilliant hosts - thank you for the lovely and thoughtful treats, bread, jam and milk…etc Thank you for making us feel at home, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Sarah has been an excellent host in every way. The boathouse itself is beautiful and extremely quiet being left in total peace. Our dog loved it and felt like he was at home! The drive through the narrow roads to get to the secluded location is worth it!

We had a great stay. Lovely spacious apartment in a great location within minutes of Fistral beach. I also had a surfing lesson with Pete who was a great teacher. Wonderful host and apartment. Will definately return.

A perfect haven to explored Falmouth from. We were able to walk to the beach, the docks and the centre of town and return to a quiet, restful place with a beautiful garden and lovely cat! Joan was so helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. And the shortbread is as good as all the other reviews say it is! I’d love to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much🥰. Paul helped us with interesting information about the area and history. We followed all this advises and had a great meal, an excellent “Englisch breakfast tea”, an interesting talk to Anny and got to known his friend/neighbour, who was also really nice. Sue and Chris are fantastic hosts, very friendly, accommodating and just a joy to be around! The communication with them was excellent, they are very responsive and helpful with any queries and they made suggestions, too. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, we were off to a good start every morning. Shout out to Chris for the chats and the music! :) The location is great, in beautiful surroundings and the house has a very cheerful vibe, is clean and comfy and is very close to the local centre (a two-minute walk) with a great selection of restaurants. They were keen to help with our broken down car too which alleviated the stress of it. Fruitcake, their cute and friendly cat was the cherry on the cake! :)

Absolutely stunning property, Janet and Hugh are the perfect hosts who made our stay memorable, we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and they included such lovely little extras which was so thoughtful. The continental breakfast was perfect with a fantastic assortment, the fresh bread each morning was delicious. Mevagissey is a beautiful little town, we walked down most evenings to eat, we enjoyed The Sharksfin. We visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was stunning, also took ferry to Fowey which was a lovely day, the walks from the property along the coastal paths are amazing, bit tough at times for us two oldies but we managed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Janet and Hugh again, we already miss Mevagissey and will return.

Spent a lovely 4 nights in order to celebrate our honeymoon. Our room was spotless and we appreciated having the use of our own breakfast/living area. The location and the accommodation were absolutely idyllic.

Betty was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was large and airy. The bathroom clean and shower hot. Betty prepared wonderful breakfast including home made bread and jam, with berries from her garden.

What a fantastic place to stay. location of the house was great for what we needed and wanted.....We stayed in the lookout room.....the space was fantastic, beds were comfy and linen smelt amazing. The view from the room was great, we sat watching the wildlife for a few hours. Tea and coffee supplied with a kettle in the room which was great.....and the breakfast...well....it was amazing, great amount of choice to choose from and was super tasty. Lovely watching the wildlife in the garden whilst having breakfast. Michele was very welcoming and great to chat to about the local area and travelling etc. So all in all, if you need a place to stay we'd certainly recommend this gem of a place. Thanks for having us.

Stefanie was a friendly and attentive host. She immediately took our wet hiking clothes off to dry. The room was spacious with a wonderful sea view, and the bathroom was luxurious. Breakfast was served to us self-service in the dining room. Even fresh fruit was provided. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location was perfect, the space was spotless, and the breakfast each morning was a lovely touch. Also, the host was quite hospitable, she asked for breakfast preferences and made sure we get it when we want to have! Would definitely recommend it -5 stars!!!
