Newly converted barn into a luxury cottage with your private hot tub 4 bedrooms! The kitchen and living area is all open plan which is great to keep Conversation following! There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, the bedroom has a great view down the fields! Upstairs there is a king size bed with a ensuite, family bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms! You have a private patio area to the rear of the cottage where the hot tub is so you can relax in peace! Also keep a look out for the barn owl!!

We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. We live down a quiet country lane giving the feeling of a rural location, but within a few miles of Matlock. A cozy, quaint and comfortable cottage. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Quiet and private with the high tree and ivy covered fences. Ian was great with communication for check in. Back and garden secure for medium and large dogs. The side gate has a large gap on the fence side and our small dogs (8kg) dogs appeared in the front of the cottage while we were unpacking the car. We were able to block the opening with garden chairs. Just be aware and confirm the main entrance gates are securely closed and locked. Will definitely recommend and stay again in future.

A lovely cottage that hadn't been renovated since the 1890s and beautifully restored with a clever balance between old and modern. Best equipped kitchen of all the Airbnbs we've stayed in. Modern bathroom. Lots of storage space for clothes. Would suit a family of 4. We really enjoyed our morning cuppa and evening drink sitting in the room at the back of the house. Huge glass window allows you to sit in if it's not sunny and watch the birds. Garden table, chairs and a bbq . Large utility room, washer and room to dry clothed indoors or outside. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay in the pod. Sharon was a fantastic host, with great communication and met us when we arrived. The pod was lovely; it was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. The location is great with lovely views and is well placed for exploring the area. The very friendly goats, horses and returning cat were a particular highlight for our daughter. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

I stayed in the cottage once before and because it is such a nice place decided to stay again for my latest visit to Derbyshire. The hosts are great and communicate really well, the cottage is spotless, it is comfortable and has a real home from home feeling. It's a good base to explore from and also to return to and chill out in. Thanks for another great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully furnished; cosy, with very comfy beds and an amazing shower. All facilities provided for self catering, everything we needed and more. The parking was a bit tight along the road, but we had no problems parking outside the cottage throughout our stay. A great location for our trips to nature reserves and exploring other villages and the countryside. We had a lovely break.
