Family-friendly holiday rentals in Peniche

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

in terms of communication, the amenities and the location... simply fantastic for me as a surfer. has everything you need, very good surf spots right outside the front door after relaxing in the hot tub on the roof terrace. surrounded by fine restaurants, just amazing :) is definitely worth it!

Great host! We loved the breakfast in the morning and Hélder had the jacuzzi ready for us when we arrived within an hour of booking!

Isabel and Renato are amazing hosts, from the warm welcome and fabulous table of food to the helpful recommendations. This place is fabulous for larger family groups, the beach is literally on the doorstep, you don’t need to bring anything with you, the hosts have everything covered. Turn up and enjoy your stay!

Was very happy with the place. Communication with Sylvia and Rafaela went quickly and smoothly, looked exactly like in the photos, was very clean and everything you need was there. I was very happy about the welcome gift! Really lovingly put together and I did not expect. If I were to come to Peniche again, I would book the place again!

It was a week of well spent vacation, where we had everything we needed in the apartment (utensils/services/machines) as communicated to us by Mr. Luis. In the vicinity there are excellent places of gastronomy with good price/quality ratio. The place is quiet and with good access both for walking and to discover new destinations by car.

A beautiful condo on the beach with a view of the ocean. Line it’s a great layout and you’ll enjoy looking at the ocean. There is a restaurant next-door however we never had any issues with noise. I wish they had a faucet to wash your feet off after you came back from the beach, but that’s not the responsibility of this condo that the association should handle that.

Cristina was amazing since day 1. She was pretty concerned about a storm coming to Portugal, which made us feel welcomed. The house is pretty much what you see in the photos. Super clean, full of amenities (pans, coffee maker, etc). It’s also a big place, so expect a huge place for your family, which is nice. Nothing but good words for our stay! Thanks, Cristina. We had an amazing stay at Albert’s apartment in Peniche! As a group of four geology students exploring the region, this place was perfect for us. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great—close to the coast and the incredible geological sites we came to study. Albert was an outstanding host—super friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with local tips and recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Peniche. Thanks again, Albert!

Beautiful apartment corresponding in every way to my expectations. Beautiful interior spaces. The bathroom might deserve a little more space. Since the apartment is upstairs, people with reduced mobility will have some difficulty in accessing it.

Great apartment to stay in Peniche, the town is small and the restaurants, bars and activities are all close by. Would recommend to anyone and small groups to come stay here. Vasco is really friendly and made it easy to find and get in!

It was also great the second time. Nice little apartment with terrace. Joaquim is very friendly and helpful. Had me locked out (terrace door and entrance bag not left open, wind closed the door) Joaquim was quickly on hand and let me in. Thank you, anytime.

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

It’s the second time we stayed with Best Houses, though is different flat. Great flat, very comfy. A bit outdated but we didn’t kind, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, thanks for hosting us!

The apartment is located in an area that looks like an authentic paradise in Portugal. In the heart of a golf course, the surrounding green stands out in contrast to the light blue of the sea. From Luís' apartment – extremely well located, clean and with all the conditions to comfortably accommodate a family – we took several walks through the clean and wild nature of the area. The host was impeccably attentive and always very available. He did everything to make our stay memorable, including some welcome treats that won us over right upon arrival. Sandra is a super host, communication was very easy, the check-in and checkout was done very efficiently.
