Family-friendly holiday rentals in Peniche

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

von der Kommunikation her, die Ausstattung und die Lage… einfach traumhaft für mich als surfer. hat alles was man braucht, sehr gute Surfspots direkt vor der Haustür danach entspannen im Whirlpool auf der Dachterasse. umgeben von feinen Restaurants, einfach der Hammer :) lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Um lugar incrível, super simpáticos! Pet friendly (adorámos a gata). Apesar de não termos usufruído da piscina e jacuzzi por ter estado mau tempo, ficou na nossa lista de locais a revisitar!

Isabel and Renato are amazing hosts, from the warm welcome and fabulous table of food to the helpful recommendations. This place is fabulous for larger family groups, the beach is literally on the doorstep, you don’t need to bring anything with you, the hosts have everything covered. Turn up and enjoy your stay!

Claudia’s place was great. Spacious, peaceful, and clean. She was very proactive in ensuring we had a good and safe stay. I recommend this Airbnb!

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit Sylvia und Rafaela hat schnell und reibungslos geklappt, sah genau aus wie auf den Fotos, war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Sehr gefreut hab ich mich über das Willkommensgeschenk! Wirklich liebevoll zusammengestellt und habe ich nicht erwartet. Sollte ich nochmal nach Peniche kommen, würde ich die Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Foi uma semana de férias bem passada, onde tivemos tudo o que necessitamos no apartamento (utensílios/serviços/máquinas) como nos foi comunicado pelo Sr. Luis. Nas redondezas encontram-se excelentes locais de gastronomia com boa relação preço/qualidade. O local é calmo e com bons acessos tanto para andar a pé como para descobrir de carro novos destinos.

A beautiful condo on the beach with a view of the ocean. Line it’s a great layout and you’ll enjoy looking at the ocean. There is a restaurant next-door however we never had any issues with noise. I wish they had a faucet to wash your feet off after you came back from the beach, but that’s not the responsibility of this condo that the association should handle that.

Cristina was amazing since day 1. She was pretty concerned about a storm coming to Portugal, which made us feel welcomed. The house is pretty much what you see in the photos. Super clean, full of amenities (pans, coffee maker, etc). It’s also a big place, so expect a huge place for your family, which is nice. Nothing but good words for our stay! Thanks, Cristina. We had an amazing stay at Albert’s apartment in Peniche! As a group of four geology students exploring the region, this place was perfect for us. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great—close to the coast and the incredible geological sites we came to study. Albert was an outstanding host—super friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with local tips and recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Peniche. Thanks again, Albert!

Bel appartement correspondant en tous points a mes attentes. Beaux espaces intérieurs. La salle de bains mériterait peut être un peu plus d'espace. L'appartement étant à l'étage, les personnes à mobilité réduite auront quelques difficultés pour y accéder.

Os anfitriões foram super receptivos indicando lugares para ir e o que fazer. Ambiente estava limpo, agradável assim como os comentários anteriores. Super recomendo.

Es war auch das zweite Mal super. Schöne kleine Wohnung mit Terrasse. Joaquim ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte mich ausgeschlossen (terarassentüre und eingangstüte nicht offen lassen, Wind hat Türe zugezogen) Joaquim war schnell zur Stelle und hat mich eingelassen. Danke, gerne wieder.

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

Sehr großes Haus mit privatem Pool und wirklich riesiger Dachterrasse. Wir waren nur zu zweit hier, es gibt Betten für 6 Personen und 2 Badezimmer. Für das Auto gibt es eine Garage, auch genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Zum Surfen: nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Baleal und Supertubos ist noch näher. Danke an Celia für die schöne Zeit!

It’s the second time we stayed with Best Houses, though is different flat. Great flat, very comfy. A bit outdated but we didn’t kind, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, thanks for hosting us!

O apartamento está localizado numa zona que parece um autêntico paraíso em Portugal. No coração de um campo de golfe, destaca-se o verde envolvente em contraste com o azul claro do mar. A partir do apartamento do Luís – extremamente bem situado, limpo e com todas as condições para acomodar confortavelmente uma família – fizemos várias caminhadas pela natureza limpa e selvagem da área. O anfitrião foi de uma atenção irrepreensível e sempre muito disponível. Fez tudo para que a nossa estadia fosse memorável, incluindo alguns mimos de boas-vindas que nos conquistaram logo à chegada. Perfekt ställe för familjer, kul med pool för barnen när de tröttnat på stranden. Bra surf 2 min promenad från boendet. Superbra värd, rent och stämde väldigt väl överens med beskrivningen. Skulle gärna bo här igen och rekommenderar varmt till dig som funderar på att boka.

Das Haus hat einen perfekten Blick auf Baleal und den Surfspot Lagide. Wir haben wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge vom Haus oder von der Terrasse aus genossen. Bei starkem Wind von der Küste hört man nachts auch entsprechende Geräusche, das Haus und die Zimmer sind zudem eher etwas hellhörig. Die Ausstattung ist gut, Roger hat sogar noch Strand-Equipment (Sonnenschirm, Windschutz, etwas Spielzeug für Babys, …) bereitgestellt, das war sehr nett von ihm. Rogério ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber und war vor der Reise und während des Aufenthaltes bei Fragen immer gut erreichbar. Wir können ihn auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Casa súper recomendable. El propietario es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar, respondiendo muy rápido. La casa es estupenda y no le falta de nada. Además, ha puesto a nuestra disposición todos los "extra" como dos cunas o un radiador. sin duda espero volver y la recomiendo para viajes en familia o en grupo.

Sandra is a super host, communication was very easy, the check-in and checkout was done very efficiently. We are a group of 6-7 golfers that have stayed within the Praia Del’Rey resort for a number of years and Sandra’s villa one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed-in throughout the years - immaculately clean, spacious rooms with plenty of of bathrooms and nice garden with swimming pool (plus useful pool and garden furniture).
