Spa Garden Cottage - Upper Hopton

TerriRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Scarlett’s place. We had everything we needed and everything was so easy to use. Very responsive host and great for letting us know that the place was ready an hour early! Hot tub was nice and warm with great location and privacy. We went to travellers rest (10 min walk) and the food was so nice and big portion sizes for the price. We even went back later on for the Wednesday night quiz night! Overall great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you

Luxury cottage - river views, balcony and hot tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

The Old Middle School Addingham

TaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

Lakeside Barn w/ fantastic views & Hot-Tub

KarenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Cottage & Pool House Yorkshire Dales Littondale

ClaireRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We have just returned from a few nights away staying at this little piece of paradise. If you’re after a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. From the house itself, to the spectacular views , the amazing pool house and the lovely, friendly neighbours, this place ticks all the boxes and more. Highly recommend visiting The Queens Arms for a meal (or just a cheeky drink), the staff are so friendly and just made our time away extra special. Malham is only a 20 min (ish) drive away and is stunning (a must see). The only thing I would advise is to make sure you take plenty of supplies (or do an online shop for delivery as we did) as the local shop is a 20min drive away. Thankyou again David, we will definitely be back.

6* Lux 2 Bed Cottage on Island Near Lake District

GillianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Sawley in the Forest of Bowland - cosy cottage.

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cottage is a mini home from home and having the little private garden at the back was definitely the icing on the cake. We try to get back to the area regularly as having moved away after 25 years of living in the area, we have friends to catch up with, we will definitely re book and stay here again. Loved it

Well appointed 3 bedroom barn conversion

ReyhanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had an amazing 2-night stay at Jane’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful and set in breathtaking surroundings—the photos really don’t do it justice, as the real thing is far more exquisite. The decor is warm and homely, yet spacious enough to comfortably fit the five of us. Both bathrooms were spotless—one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, which gave us the flexibility to choose. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including ample fridge space. The garden is also worth mentioning—gorgeous and clearly very well cared for. We especially loved the fireplace; it truly felt like the cherry on top of an already perfect stay. The house manual was detailed and extremely helpful, covering everything we needed to know. Jane was a wonderful host—so warm and thoughtful. She welcomed us with a lovely letter and some delicious biscuits, which made us feel right at home from the start. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this lovely, comfortable, characterful house. We enjoyed the sound of the river flowing by as we ate and enjoyed drinks in the garden. The house was spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It is located in a beautiful village with a shop and traditional pub serving lovely food. Great dog walks right from the door. We would love to return.

Stunning views and own garden in private cottage

David & MaryRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The property was easy to find with the instructions Kathryn supplied beforehand, as was entry to the charming cottage. Plenty of room for 4 adults with 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Comfy beds, spacious and plenty of hot water. The small kitchen was well equipped and close to the dining area. The lounge room downstairs had plenty of room, a wood heater and good tv. Lots of books and games too. The views from every room are absolutely beautiful! With chickens and goats to keep us company, in the neighbouring field, the out door area was great in the warm afternoon sun and pub was only a 15minute walk away… Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in the Dales.

Rose Cottage. Spectacular views and gardens.

HughRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I think Rose Cottage might be the best holiday rental I've ever stayed in. Basically we felt instantly at home. The house is beautifully decorated and exceptionally well-equipped. (Need a softer pillow? No problem as there's a selection to choose from. Forgot your toothbrush? There are spares provided. In fact your every need seems to have been anticipated.) The views out from the main rooms and from the terraces are great, and we enjoyed our suppers on the lower terrace in warm June weather. And Fran is lovely - really helpful and she has loads of good tips for things to do, good places to eat, etc. It's a lovely area too, lots of good walking and stunning long views from up on the tops. Highly recommended.

‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

The Rabbit Hole cosy cottage near Bolton Abbey

RohiniRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at The Rabbit Hole. From arrival to leaving, everything was clear and as described. The property matched the pictures and the place was very clean. We loved the attention to detail, so many tasteful pictures/ornaments/references to rabbits and very nice decor throughout. Very impressed with the compact kitchen area. Great blackout blinds/shutters too so we enjoyed a rare lay in! Never actually met the hosts and never had to contact as all the information given was enough. We would definitely go back and enjoyed spending a couple days exploring Skipton, which seems to be the most dog friendly place I’ve ever seen!

Luxurious Granny House Bell Busk in Malhamdale

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Granny House was a beautiful home, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very spacious. Stunning walks from the door got this holiday off to a flying start. Jeanne's communication was excellent and she got back to us really quickly when I had a query the week before. She was also incredibly understanding and generous spirited about an accidental breakage....

Kings Retreat

JonathonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
House was perfect for our week long stay in Skipton. It was quiet, clean and the location was ideal for walking (8 minutes) into Skipton town centre. Car parking was not an issue even on the Otley Road 20yds away. A few minor points were discussed with Clifford (the host) by telephone to improve the experience further but nothing that would put us off staying again. There were plenty of places to eat / drink in Skipton with Wetherspoons close-by and several other nice places including the Castle Inn which had a good selection of meals /drinks. We had a fish & chip supper on the Canal boat in Skipton (needs to be booked in advance). Tesco & Morrisons are within 10 min drive. The Woodland walk in Skipton near to the Castle Inn is very easy for a stroll. If you want something more energetic then the Ingleton Waterfall Trail is very good (around 45 minutes from Skipton) or take a bus from Skipton to Grassington for other walks near the River Wharfe. All in all a very good experience. J&J.

🏠Entire Cosy Riverside Cottage 🌊 📸Balcony & Views

JosephineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay celebrating a birthday and our anniversary. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped for a self catering stay. Plenty of options too if you fancy a break from cooking. We had pizza on the first night from Valley Pizza, delicious and homemade, from a friendly family business. We saw James at The Piece Hall, an excellent, easily accessible venue, just two train stops from Mytholmroyd. We also enjoyed a scenic 30 minute canal walk into Hebden Bridge and took the train back, only 2 minutes! The Dusty Miller pub was very welcoming with a great beer garden; we even caught a bit of sun. Rain or shine, the location is brilliant, with plenty to do via public transport. Lots of helpful info and recommendations provided. We didn’t use the car all weekend. Parking is super convenient, just across the road, £2 a day, and free on Sundays. Loved the balcony and the Temple Spa products too! Highly recommended. Thank you, Christy & Luke!
