What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

Frédérique listened to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the region, offering all comforts. The pool, pleasant, for cooling off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing vacation, thanks to the wonderful garden.

Lucie’s place is one of the best Airbnb experiences and home I’ve ever had. If I say there is nothing to improve I really mean it. Everything was perfect and clean. It felt like staying at our own home. Every tiny detail has been thought of. And the pool outside was fantastic! But as you can guess the highlight of our stay was when my 9 year old son met Pancho which was why I booked this place! It felt like our second home and I would love to come back again! This was one of the best places we ever stayed at. Everything was super clean. We felt right at home, with the kitchen being set up with every equipment needed to make nice meals. It is just a short drive out of Gordes which makes it perfect to wind down. Its such a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Super easy to drive to all the other towns in the area. We had a great time outdoors in the beautiful garden, with a lovely dining set up and the pool, also pool towels were provided which was amazing. Everything was just great and we would definitely come back.

We felt very comfortable in the house. Everything you need is available and just as described. In the garden, the traffic from the road was clearly audible but not really disturbing. It's a wonderful retreat from which we were able to explore the surrounding area. The communication was also very friendly and attentive.

We had a great stay of almost 2 weeks. The cottage is very well furnished, tidy, impeccable and very comfortable, a beautiful terrace in the shade of the wisteria. It is easy to access and very well secured. Fanny is a great hostess, very nice, very responsive. She gave us all the information we needed to make our stay as good as possible. We highly recommend this listing.

We spent very nice days in St Remy, the accommodation is quiet and beautiful, the children enjoyed the pool. Sandrine is a good host!

Excellent rental for both of us, we were able to enjoy all the outdoor space including the large pool in complete privacy because Bruno makes sure to leave us alone in all his private outdoor space. Household and outdoor equipment is operational and in impeccable condition. In addition, Bruno is very friendly and easily reachable. Very good rental

Julie was so kind to assist me with finding transportation during my busy work weekend. The place was very clean and just as beautiful as the photos. As the other reviews mentioned, the kids next door are super loud but that is at no fault of Julie. The best part about this flat is that it’s right across the street from the train station which was super convenient and I was able to walk to the grocery store just down the street. Thanks again Julie!

We had a very nice week in Salon. There is a lot to do from here. The place is very nice. Everything is available, as described, and Vincent is really very nice. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

We had a nice time in St Chamas. The accommodation is a little smaller than we thought, as the sofa, bed and kitchen are in the same room, but we were traveling as a couple and that was enough for us. The kitchen had all the dishes you needed to cook and prepare food and the bathroom was also well equipped. The air was relatively warm and a little humid in the accommodation, so it was good that there was a fan that we turned on when we were in the apartment. The terrace is sweet, but directly on the small street between the houses, so we didn't use it that often. You can walk directly to the lake and to restaurants and bakeries, which was great. Unfortunately, the lake smells very strongly of fish, and there are nets out to dry, so we were unable to use the lake at this point. We did many day trips, for which this accommodation was ideal for us.

Daniel is a great host and the property is lovely. May favourite sitting out on the balcony watching the swifts feeding their young in the roof tops. Good area very stunning.

We enjoyed the little courtyard in the evening. The accommodation is nicely furnished and what is available is of quality. We had to disturb Sophie unexpectedly and we thank her for responding very quickly.

Thanks to Laurence for her welcome, her very well-equipped accommodation (commechez soi), spacious with private and quiet garden. Beautiful birdsong and no disturbing barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and an extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functioning apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calmness gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to the hotel. The apartment matches the photos. It is located in a sort of golf resort where there are also restaurants, bars and a small supermarket where you can also buy croissants in the morning. The resort's location is very convenient for visiting the enchanting places of Provence. For those with many suitcases, it is advisable to park the car at the reception and unload the luggage before putting the car in the garage. This also applies when you leave. Overall, a great place, also recommended for those with small children
