I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. Sparta was perfect for a weekend away. It was a short walk away from a beautiful private lake and quiet and relaxing. Mario was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in seamless. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

From beginning to the end of our stay, Charlie communicated all the necessary details. We had everything we needed within the airbnb, and it was perfect for a little getaway with family. There were plenty of beds to choose from, and the bathrooms were both very clean. The kitchen was easy to navigate and find things. The wifi could have been faster since we did run into a lot of lagging, but eventually it was okay again. Overall, it's a lovely stay!

Truly a hidden gem! Very charming , fun and clean! I couldn’t ask for much more because this home provided everything I could want! The view of the river is absolutely stunning to wake up to! You won’t regret staying here!

The big attraction for our group was the indoor pool -- such a bonus for a trip in the variable weather of April. The pool was SO big, we really didn't realize it from the photos! Our kids went in the pool at least once every day we were there. We also enjoyed lounging in the living room, hanging out on the peaceful deck, and playing pool. We went on a nice little hike very close by, and visited an animal sanctuary that was about 20 minutes by car. Really great trip for two families!

Pictures do not do this place justice, comfortable beds and couch’s, clean kitchen and bathrooms, way more space than it appeared in the pictures. Hot tub was amazing on a few cold nights. We spent most of our time in the living room by the fire and making food in the kitchen. Marie’s home was more than we could have wished for, and the location was perfect, in nature but just a few mins away from town. By far the most comforting and relaxing stay we’ve had yet.

This Cabin is a beautiful romantic setting with privacy and peaceful surroundings. The bed is beautiful and very comfortable with extra pillows and covers for chilly nights. We loved the fireplace! We visited late May and we had rain every day with highs in the 40’s and it was still a perfect cozy place to enjoy our 43rd Anniversary.

Brian is a great host! He proactively answered some questions before I had to ask and was always quick to respond. The lodge was clean, beautiful, and you really can’t beat the view from the deck. Would definitely love to come back!

This was our second visit to the cabin. The first time was a few years ago in the winter snow. This time in late spring. It was nice to see the cabin and area in both settings. It is very peaceful and David is an easygoing host who gets back to you quickly. The cabin is stacked with everything you need for a fire, cooking and just relaxing. There are plenty of places to eat in town and many areas to explore. We highly recommend staying at the cabin in any season.

I booked this property as a kind of ad hoc writing retreat. It was the perfect location to complete what work I needed to do. A quick drive into Sparta for restaurants and supplies also made this a great location.

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

We had a wonderful time at Bruce's cabin. It was great for a little weekend getaway, it was a little cold for us to swim and boat in the lake but I could definitely see us coming back when it's warmer! Lots of beautiful hikes and rivers to check out in the area. The cabin has everything you needed and the outdoor shower was one of our highlights of the trip!

Second time visiting this beautiful Airbnb; only issue was that the previous tenants did not follow the instructions provided by Julie and left the garbage cans unlocked. This resulted in an animal getting into the garbage can and spreading trash everywhere, which we cleaned up. Please follow the instructions Julie provides to ensure fellow visitors do not have to clean up after your messes.

Very cozy, private, clean and feellikehome spot. Beautiful house on the lake with everything you need. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. Great host, responds quickly if any questions, clear instructions and info made my stay super comfortable and memorable. Great experience.

Amazing air bnb, Laura is a great host very responsive and considerate. We had to leave a bit later because of a snow storm but she was super understanding and helpful. It’s a great cabin for an escape in the woods.

Loved my stay here, nice environment, peaceful , very beautiful but watch staircase I almost fell 5 times . But overall 9/10

The Nordic Cabin was the perfect setting for my husband and I to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The cabin is beautiful and the modern design, furnishings, and decor really stand out. Instructions of how to get into the cabin and the pitcures provided made check in and check out a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked. A bottle of white wine and a few treats were left for us. The kitchen offered different spices, oils, milk, and eggs. Kitchen utensils, pots/pans, dishes, cups, glasses, etc are provided, as well as cleaning supplies. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the cozy living room and slept well in the beautiful bedroom. Last, I have to say that the first time we opened the gate at night, after dinner in Warwick, and saw all of the outdoor lights on, really made it feel like we were entering an enchanted garden. Would definitely come back!! Thank you Kamil and Margaret!!

The place was as described in the listing. The house is out in nature but not far from local restaurants and stores. The kids loved seeing the wildlife around the house, like chipmunks and groundhogs. We even saw a black bear from the dining room window.

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

The stay was exactly what me and my wife were looking for!! Peaceful, roomy, a BBQ grill, close to everything and anything you may need, near trails and best part of it all was the views from the back yard!! The host was SUPER responsive even during the late hours of the night - was super understanding and helped in any way she was able to. She kept everything we may need in the house also. Couldn’t ask for a better host!! Would suggest this place to anyone!!!

We stayed at this property for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday and had the best time! We have a boat docked at the marina up the road, as well as a kayak and enjoy fishing & being on the water so this place was perfect for our needs & the bonus was being so kid friendly! For early May, we lucked out with a beautiful Fri & Sat in the 80s so the hosts graciously gave us a heads up for early check in so we could enjoy more of the afternoon on the lake. My 3 yo & 5.5 yo loved all the toys & books in the bedrooms & especially the play camper van in the yard, the trampoline, & the sandy beach. We invited our friends with a 1.5 yo up for the day as well, and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang together inside and outside. Per recos from the friendly neighbor & hosts, we checked out Tin Barn Brewing, Bellvale Creamery, & Pennings Farm Market & Cidery on a rainy day. The house is very clean, comfortable, well-equipped for kids/groups, & hosts were very responsive.

“Cabinesse” host (s), clearly care about their cabin and their guest. The cabin is sparkly clean and comfortable. The lake views are beautiful. The host is responsive and very helpful. We followed some suggestions from the guest book, such as a visit to Warwick, Bellvale Farms Creamery for amazing ice cream and Appalachian Pochuck Boardwalk Trail. We also tried the Bellvale Market (everything made there; amazing food) and hiked the Sterling Lake Loop (4.2 miles). Amazing unplug! Highly recommended.

Good location quiet neighborhood. Home is charming has everything you need. If you’re staying with children house has a lot for the kids, games a playground outback and for the adults a hot tub. We were staying while our home was under renovation so we didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities. Lisa is very responsive , and answers all your messages in a timely manner. Would recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us.

Wonderful cabin, well appointed with a great view of the Lake! Very peaceful in winter. A well appointed kitchen and a wood burning stove fireplace made staying in a joy! Both hosts were a pleasure to speak with and always responsive. Looks forward to opportunities to return!
