loved our stay! the beaches surrounding the area as well as the cozy view of the ocean from the balcony was all we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway with our dog. thank you again for being so welcoming during the Easter long weekend. would highly recommend for anyone needing some quiet time away from the city.

Dagmar's place was really nice, we had a friendly visitor at night that would come back frequently~ Their lil cat was sooo friendly and adorable. The place was close to Nanoose Bay Recreational Shellfish Reserve such a fun activity to do with friends. BTW they also sell 6$ eggs I believe fresh from the hen!

we enjoyed our stay, accommodation was spacious with good amenities. A short walk to supermarket and a few eateries. The bus stop was a five minute walk away with a short ride in both directions, to town to catch the ferry, visit the museum or just check out the old part of town and the mall in the opposite direction with its foodcourt and fantastic array of shops. A fifteen minute walk to the hopital. plenty of walking opportunities on the doorstep. The only downside for us was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Thank you Jessica for the home baked loaf, it was enjoyed immensely.

Beach access was just steps away, making it easy to enjoy long walks, swims, and sunsets without ever needing to get in the car. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, providing helpful local tips and ensuring we felt at home. Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

Cornelia's place is amazing. It feels brand new and is very comfortable for a couple. The views across Georgia Strait defy description. No matter the weather, this place would be relaxing and comfortable year round. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing stay! We were blown away with the accommodation and facility. We enjoyed being right on the beach, the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. My son especially loved the pool! Thank you! We will be back.

Spent 9 nights at this beautiful cottage. Peaceful and relaxing. Central to mid island activities. Accurate photos and description, had everything we needed and communication was excellent. The place far exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with EVERYTHING we would have needed to not go anywhere the whole time. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities, the kind beds in every room with vaulted ceilings made us feel like the boujee girls we want to be. The views were breathtaking and being able to have all of our meals outdoors with heat and covering made it so memorable. The house came with cars and outdoor games too to use on the nice open yard. It really felt like the place was ours. The icing on the cake was the chairs, wood and starters to make our own little beach fire right below the house and roast marshmallows while watching the sunset. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough! Definitely coming back!

Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

We had a very enjoyable two night start at Haining’s place. Beautiful location, very peaceful, idyllic. A highlight was waking up to see deer in the garden. Great value for money. Excellent host, helpful communication. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to friends/family.

Katy and Dave were incredible hosts - they made sure the hot tub was warm for us each day and were responsive to whatever we needed. The place itself is GORGEOUS - we didn’t leave once and were entertained the entire time, even in the rain. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back at some point! Can’t recommend enough.

A beautiful, serene little place, right on the waterfront. It had everything I could have needed (I wasn't really planning to cook for myself but if I'd wanted to, the kitchen was fully equipped). I was looking for quiet few days for a solo retreat and reflection time, and Cheryl's place was ideal. Right on the waterfront, tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy gazing at the ocean (some bunnies came by to visit), and a beautiful, majestic eagle kept watch over me while I was there. I heard but was not quite lucky enough to see a sea lion barking at the water's edge, and there were graceful herons taking flight and landing. I recommend the schnitzel Haus conveniently located across the street because I practically waddled back home, it was so filling and delicious. The unit was just as described, clean, comfortable, a perfect getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was a perfect place to stay while we were visiting Vancouver Island. The location made it easy to explore other areas of the Island as a day trip. The condo itself is situated right across from the pool and hot tub as well as the beach trail which we were able to enjoy while we were staying. Overall, the condo is equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay and the host was easy to contact and responded quickly. I would recommend this airbnb!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this beautifully designed home. The space itself was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The open-concept living area was bright and airy. The kitchen was fully equipped. The outdoor area was a highlight—sipping morning coffee on the deck was pure bliss.

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!
