Cottage holiday rentals in Parksville

This place is really special and exactly as it looks in the photos (but better in person!) We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, and listening to the local birds in the trees that surround the cabin. The view from the terrace is really magnificent!! We also indulged in the wood fired hot tub to make the most out of the beautiful forest surroundings. This stay was really one to remember, and I'm already dreaming about coming back another time. The roadside parking space had plenty of room for one car, two vehicles would be a tight squeeze.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home with two families and young children. The location cannot be beat - a few minute walk to the centre of town and right on the ocean. The home itself was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Corry was extremely quick to respond to a couple of questions we had when we arrived. We would highly recommend for anyone visiting Gibsons, with or without kids.

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Starfish Cottage. The house itself was so clean and inviting, as soon as we entered we felt comfortable and at home. The location is great, we took full advantage of the swimming pool and mini golf. We went to the Black Goose Inn (charming English-like pub) twice while we were there as it was just down the road. Super easy drive into Parksville which had everything we could possibly need. My daughter had her 4th birthday here, and really enjoyed herself. We all talked about how much we want to come back again, and we certainly intend to!

We had a wonderful vacation at Judy’s Seabreeze cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking basics, Saran Wrap and all the utensils you could want for cooking. We had our young children with us, and the pack and plays and sand toys made our lives much easier! The entire cottage was extremely clean and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend Seabreeze cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

This is a lovely 4 bedroom home at a great little resort. The pool is perfect temperature, with a hot tub and warm tub. Guests should note the pool hours are “dawn to dusk” and that is strictly enforced. The view from the lawn above the rocky beach at the edge of the complex is breathtaking, and there are picnic tables there for seaside lunches and sunset cocktails. The home was decently equipped and very clean and the beds were comfortable. Younger kids will enjoy riding their scooter around the complex. Nice little tennis court (bring your own rackets etc). Overall a very enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed our week at the cottage in Parksville. It was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the outdoor space was private and sunny. The beds were cozy and the resort was very quiet at night. The indoor pool was a highlight for the kids and was well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

Had a wonderful stay here - a beautiful location, so close to everything in Gibson’s but still felt super private. Great communication with the host, made me feel very welcome with a welcome package with recommendations for food, sports, drinks etc and even a little treat for my dog! Would definitely recommend this place and will re-book in the future!

We had such a great stay here. The location was phenomenal, minutes to the village but still quiet, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. I think the best way to describe the house is that while it is old, it was clearly well loved by whoever lived there. Everything was well labeled, clean and cared for. The best part of all was how kid-friendly it was, we didn’t have to bring our own pack and play or highchair and our son loved all the “new toys.” Will absolutely be back!

Molly's place was comfortable & cozy. I really enjoyed being able to walk to the local cafes & shops. Also, the Japanese hot tub is a must do! I will be back:).

Kevan's home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is lots of seating, indoors and out making it a great place for our family to hang out together. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all appliances function well. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. The standout is the spectacular garden. A true oasis. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Lisa

Karen’s place was perfect for our large family. We were perfectly situated to get to amenities and to head out on day trips. It was easy to find and easy to check in. Karen and Mary were super responsive to messages. The space is quirky and charming. The upstairs space worked perfect for our boys, who greatly enjoyed their own space that included a tv and their own beds! It definitely would be difficult to access the upstairs for someone with mobility issues, the stairs are very steep. The steps have rugged carpet to make it easier and avoid slipping. The games cupboard and lawn ladder golf games were greatly appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and extra towels came in handy for beach days. We were very busy during the days so did not get to spend a whole lot of time in the backyard, but it was lovely and much larger than I had anticipated. Would recommend this stay!

This place was very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path just a bit, but close enough to all of the amenities. Jennifer was very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend a stay at this property.

The house was extremely neat and clean. First impression was very positive. Once we were settled in, we had everything we needed. Very pleased.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luna’a cabin! Everything was very clear prior to check in and Luna was always quick to respond to any messages. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and offered a view of the bay through the French doors which we loved. It was also very well located, within short driving distance to Sechelt!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly relaxing, clean, and cozy—perfect for unwinding. Everything was thoughtfully set up and very comfortable. The outdoor toilet and shower were not only convenient but also surprisingly charming, adding to the unique experience. Our host was accommodating, friendly, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. We are already planning to come back.

Larissa and Josh were the most wonderful hosts, some of the best I’ve ever encountered on my airbnb journeys. They were extra accommodating as we had our baby with us, and have a wonderful cafe as well where we tested some amazing treats. First time going to Galiano but if I go back that’s where I’m staying, the place was pristine, big and the views from the patio, living room and bedroom and stunning, you can ask all my IG likes and comments lol Thank you for a memorable weekend!

This was, hands down, my favorite Airbnb experience I have ever had (and we have had a lot, and we used to be hosts). It wasn’t perfect but the hosts were responsive and problem solved and were so nice about things. It was quiet, spacious, comfortable, the perfect location. I am, quite literally, obsessed. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you for having actual plants and comfy beds. Be careful not to open the windows at night if there are lights on - one night we got pretty good mosquito action. 💓💓

We loved our stay. Very spacious. Good bed. Well equipped. Good location, only a few hundred meters from cafes and stores. The road was a bit noisy but does calm down at night. All in all a great place to stay.
