The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at Kaya Villas and will definitely be back. Beds were very comfortable, the grounds beautiful and private, and close to great food and the ocean. We loved having Plays Avellanas as our home base and honestly didn’t feel the need to stray too far. Went to Tamarindo one afternoon and then to Playa Grande several times as well. Our host was super welcoming and helpful as well. 10/10!

I cannot say enough about Chateau. We traveled with a group of 30 (ages from 4 to 74). Of all the places we stayed, Chateau was the most memorable. It’s stunning. If you want to make memories, stay here. In addition to the beautiful location, the owners put us in touch with a chef and bartender, and we were able to make cherished memories during our last night. You will never regret staying here in my opinion.

Great views. The top of the world pool within the community has unbelievable views at sunset. You’ll need to drive a little ways to get to many of the beaches but there are lots of options. House was comfortable and worked great for large group.

We had the best family vacation at Casa Lulu! Kate ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. She even had everything we needed for my 15 month old nephew! She was very communicative and gave us great recommendations for everything we needed for a great trip!! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and host!!

They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. After relocating from a disappointing rental, we struck gold with Casa Ruby! While our previous place lacked essentials and a safe pool, this home was perfect for our group (2 couples, 3 kids). The unique layout gave everyone their own bedroom and bathroom - a luxury when traveling with family. The stunning pool was immaculate with plenty of toys. We loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and the convenient BBQ and outdoor fridge for poolside drinks. The recent renovations show in every detail - luxe furnishings and incredibly comfortable beds with hotel-quality linens made sleeping heavenly. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the living room offered games and a TV. Location is ideal - 8-minute walk to the night market and Little Lucha's amazing tacos, 15 minutes to the beach (or $4 Uber). Thank you Fernando and Valerie for sharing your hidden gem. Truly a dream home away from home - we hope to return!

You won’t regret booking The Palms! A private, quiet retreat that was upscale and away from the hustle and bustle and party scene of some of the other Pacific Costa Rican beach towns. As a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old, the size of the condo was great, the kids enjoyed swimming in the waves at the beach, boogie boarding, and playing in the infinity pool with stunning beach views and sunsets. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. The bartender made me a drink off menu simply because I asked for something “uniquely Costa Rican!” The condo itself was well-stocked with staples to make for such a convenient stay. It’s even better than we imagined. There was a hiccup at check-in which caused some stress and a maintenance issue, but the Palms and host quickly made things right which was very appreciated.

Even more beautiful than the pictures on the site. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with a tropical, yet cozy vibe. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and we loved enjoying our meals with a spectacular views. The location of the home made it possible for the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. The pool was the perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring the area. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to Playa del Coco’s beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were awesome. Very responsive when we encountered a problem with our stay. They did accommodate us for the inconvenience and made it possible for us to stay and keep enjoying this magnificent home. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for 2 family's with adults kids. The location was just off the beaten path of the downtown area. The location was private and we really enjoyed having the pool to relax after a busy day. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so spacious. We liked having a separate house above the main house. If people wanted to stay up later, there were two master bedrooms upstairs to retreat to. We were so close to everything and the beach. We saw the sunset every night. Thank you!!!

Perfect 50th Birthday Girls’ Getaway! We recently stayed at this incredible vacation home to celebrate our 50th birthdays — 8 girls, one unforgettable trip! The entire property was absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool was perfect for lounging and laughing, and the villas were quiet, clean, and beyond comfortable. The beds felt like heaven after long days of fun in the sun! We especially loved the open-air showers and the outdoor showers — such a luxurious and relaxing touch. Jason and Kathy were phenomenal hosts. They messaged us almost every day with thoughtful recommendations for excursions, restaurants, and local gems. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly made the experience even more special. Everything about our stay was amazing and exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or hosts. Highly, highly recommend!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

We booked very last min to stay at David’s place as we only had a few days left in Costa Rica and wanted to be closer to the airport but not right in town. David responded right away and gave clear instructions on how to get to his place. The studio was very clean and felt very homie. The pool was clean and a great little community pool area with a BBQ. David stopped in on our first day and was very friendly. Craig who lives on the grounds is a great guy for food and beach recommendations. Stores are close by (within walking distance) made for an easy first night to cook dinner. Bed is very comfortable and nice hot shower for the end of the after touring around the local area. Nice a quiet at night to sit and have a beer or morning coffee with the local wild life. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Villa Sol. There was a lot to do for the entire family, kids through adults. It's also located on a beautiful beach. We did hear and see a few racoons in the front yard or on our roof, besides being a little scared seeing them (as some reviews described them as aggressive), they did not bother us, nor did they prevent us from enjoying our outdoor area of the villa. We would definitely stay again.

Wij hebben hier een week verbleven met onze peuter en het was heerlijk! Het huis is heel schoon en heel goed uitgerust, aan alles is gedacht! Goed uitgeruste keuken; wasmachine en faciliteiten om schoon te maken, uitgebreid beddengoed, handdoeken en doeken voor het strand. Echt heel comfortabel en prettig, zeker met een gezin! Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan voor families met kleine kinderen. Het huis is ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Ook het contact met de host verliep goed en makkelijk, ze reageren heel snel en zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Iets om rekening mee te houden is dat de grotere supermarkten wat verder weg zijn (30 minuten rijden ongeveer) dus bijvoorbeeld op de dag van aankomst is het verstandig vooraf boodschappen te doen. Het huis ligt een beetje afgelegen, maar er zijn genoeg mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes vlakbij!

We loved our stay at Villa Sashimi and hope to come back soon! We loved to be surrounded by nature yet very near to the beach, super markets and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the property grounds are beautiful!
