Villa Batu is a beautiful place to stay in the Puglia area. Two wonderful big bedrooms, and a great kitchen with lots of useful utensils (most well equipped kitchen we have stayed in). The outside area was really the star of the show though; there were multiple areas to sit to capture the sun throughout the whole day. A wonderful outdoor dining area, sun loungers and comfy seats throughout. The pool was superb. The location is peaceful, quite and serene. Would highly recommend a car as there aren't any shops/restaurants, etc. within walking distance nor any buses. Note for future guests - use Google Maps to navigate to 'Villa Batu' (it takes you directly there). Ilaria, the host, was excellent - responsive to communication, kind and helpful. And Michele, the caretaker, was also very helpful and good communication. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this wonderful location and Villa Batu - it really is one not to miss!

What a find!! This beautiful Apulian villa nestled among the olive groves of Ostuni was beyond all of our expectations!! The home , including an historical Trulo and luxurious pool are immaculate ; surrounded by pristine gardens all natural and organic. The white washed city of Ostuni is minutes away offering an abundance of restaurants, shopping and historical sites. Beautiful beaches are a short drive away with soft sandy beaches and the beautiful clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Barbara and her husband were extremely helpful and always available to help in any way! Barbara's recommendations were spot on and she even went out of her way to make reservations for us at restaurants, cooking classes and wine tours! I highly recommend this amazing villa for your next vacation!

This is a very special place, a beautiful and comfortable house, gorgeous pool, and extensive grounds with lots of places to sit, read and relax during the day. A perfect place for three generations as there’s a separate studio apartment providing peace for grandparents, if needed! We were torn between wanting to explore the towns nearby, but also wanting to spend time enjoying the villa. Ale is a brilliant host. Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect place for a family. We had just 4 nights at Leo’s place and we were not disappointed. He returned messages promptly and any questions he responded with the correct information. On arrival the check-in was pretty simple. Automated pedestrian and vehicle gates. And once inside we were very pleased with the house. All pictures are correct and we half knew what to expect. It was also good to put our three boys downstairs while we had the upstairs room. Although one room downstairs wasn’t a proper room, it didn’t affect the boys at all. And there were two bathrooms downstairs to look after the three bedrooms. There was clean bedding, towels and also plenty of pool towels too - along with a football for the small astroturf 2 minutes walk away. The kitchen was stocked well with tea, paper towels, clingfilm, foil, sugar, bin bags and there was filtered water from the tap. There was also a great bean to cup coffee machine with milk frother - so great for morning coffees on the veranda.

Wir haben die Villa geliebt! Das Interior Design ist sehr stilvoll und modern. Die Villa ist an einer sehr ruhigen und atemberaubender Lage in aber dennoch sind genügend Möglichkeiten in wenigen Autominuten in der Umgebung erreichbar. Claudia war sehr zuvorkommend und klärte unsere Anfragen schnell ab. Maria Luisa war während unseres gesamtes Aufenthaltes stets erreichbar, hilfsbereit und stellte uns Empfehlungen zusammen. Sie organisierte einen Kochkurs in der Villa, welcher auf unsere Wünsche angepasst war und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Wir können die Villa empfehlen nur empfehlen.

We stayed in mid-May and found this a beautiful place to stay, with both the tastefully renovated property itself and all the outside areas being clearly well maintained and cared for. Trullo Lilia is a peaceful and relaxing oasis yet only a very short drive from two lovely towns with a variety of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Also, we can’t heap enough praise on Viviana our Welcome Manager who provided lots of local info and help, as well as promptly sorting an issue with the water heating she brought to our attention on arrival.

We have just returned home to the UK , having spent a week at Natasha & David's villa . It is simple, retaining many of the original features of the property . Well appointed , fantastic air conditioning, lovely pool . Really beautifully finished inside, comfy beds and lovely bed linen . It is very private but not too far from anywhere, lots of choice within a 10-20 minute drive . The area has retained its original character and charm. The villa allows you to completely switch off. There are two really friendly cats at the property who are no bother and stay outside but appreciate a cuddle and some food and water ! David was really helpful and attentive and really speedy with responses . We had a faultless week, worth every penny . We fully intend to go back .

The place is so beautiful, spacious, peaceful and super stylish. We really loved relaxing by the pool, enjoying breakfast on the terrace each morning and the view was stunning! In the area there are some beautiful authentic villages where we went to have a little walk and diner. The combination of culture and relaxation was perfect for us. Also our host was incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend this villa to who’s looking for a relaxing vacation or even a workation because the internet is super fast! We will definitely be back!

Matera vaut le détour. Cité atypique a découvrir absolument. Le gite est idéalement situé au centre de Matera. Sa terrasse est exceptionnelle. Le logement est tres bien meublé, décoré avec goût. Tudor nous a accueilli et mené au logement en nous donnant de nombreuses explications sur les activités à faire, les restaurants, le marché... Tudor est un artiste peintre très sympathique

Francesco was great! The location was awesome and our sunrise morning on the rooftop was amazing. He went above and beyond as our bags were delayed by the airline. We had a tour set up the day the airline wanted to bring them. He allowed us to give his name as the contact and he met the air line courier at the location and brought our bags in! He was so great! Love everything about the stay and would recoomend it highly to anyone.

The photographers house was nothing short of an exceptional stay. The property surpassed expectations and is more impressive in person than in the photos, the interior design and photography are beautiful. It is very spacious and well equipped with everything you might need for a great holiday. The location is 10/10, in the heart of the old town and the views of the port are superb. Fabrizio was very friendly and so helpful, he met us at the train station on arrival and assisted us with our luggage. Similarly, he helped us with our luggage upon departure and dropped our suitcases to the train station by car. He also assisted us with booking taxis etc during our stay. Check in was brilliant, with a comprehensive bar, brilliant coffee machine and all of the basic ingredients for cooking included. We loved our stay, and would recommend the photographers house for anyone looking for an elevated Monopoli experience. We will definitely be back.

The view was STUNNING and the appartamento felt stylish and welcoming. If you’re going to Matera, stay here. You will not be disappointed!

Gianvito's place was simply amazing! staying in a trullo was an exceptional experience while visiting Alberbello - it is walkable distance from the town centre. The bed and linen were outstanding we had a really great sleep there, would deffo recommend to others!

Anna and Alessandro’s beautiful villa was the perfect stay, The villa itself was exactly as pictured and absolutely stunning! Anna was extremely welcoming and very responsive to any and all questions, she gave us amazing recommendations for local restaurants and beaches to visit which we loved, The villa is perfectly located if you are travelling through puglia by car, central to Monopoli, Alberobello and Polignano a mare, and even great to day trip to Matera or Ostuni as we did during our stay Overall an excellent stay we would love to visit again :)

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad bij Dario en zijn katten, kippen en hond. Een prachtige rustige omgeving op een steenworp van de drukte van Martina Franca. Dario staat altijd voor je klaar voor tips een gezellige borrel of zelfs een bbq! De week bij hem thuis was geweldig een aanrader voor iedereen die ‘echt’ puglia wil ontdekken

Logement agréable en rez-de-chaussée, à 12 minutes à pied du centre. La terrasse et le parking sont un vrai plus. L’appartement est spacieux, joliment décoré, et Michele est très accueillant et serviable. Quelques petits ajustements d’entretien et d’équipement rendraient le tout parfait, mais nous avons globalement été très satisfaits de notre séjour.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Leonardo’s property! Nestled in a peaceful olive grove, the home offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. We especially loved starting each day with an espresso on the patio, surrounded by nature and calm. The house itself was spotless, well-maintained, and an incredible value for the price. Just a short 10-minute drive to the beach, we were able to enjoy the beach daily, while also taking advantage of the many excellent restaurants nearby and in the charming downtown of Monopoli. Leonardo was a wonderful host—warm, accommodating, and extremely responsive. He even welcomed us with a bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch! Monopoli proved to be the ideal base for exploring the region. We took day trips to Bari, Lecce, Matera, and Alberobello—all easily accessible by car (which we definitely recommend having) We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

"Stylish Urban Escape – Perfect Location, Firm Mattress Heads-Up" The Good: 📍 Prime location – Just a short walk to restaurants and all the city buzz. ✨ Beautiful apartment – Immaculately clean, modern, and stylish, with amazing rooftop access. 🔒 Total privacy – Felt like a secluded retreat despite being downtown. One Note (for light sleepers): 🛏️ The bed's mattress was much firmer than I expected – I usually don’t fuss over mattresses, but this one had me relocating to the couch (which worked, but wasn’t ideal). That said, my travel companion loved it, so it’s clearly a personal preference! If you prefer a softer mattress, this might not be your perfect match. Final Verdict: Despite the bed’s firmness, our stay was excellent—great space, fantastic location, and everything spotless. Would happily recommend, with the above caveat for fellow soft-mattress lovers!

Great location, excellent host and flexible check-in/out. We had to leave early (and unexpectedly!), and the host was very understanding!

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances à la Villa Grandi Fiori. La situation est idéale : à deux pas du charmant village d’Oria, au cœur des Pouilles, un point de départ parfait pour explorer la région. La villa est vraiment superbe : spacieuse, confortable et aménagée avec goût. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, ce qui nous a permis de cuisiner avec plaisir pendant notre séjour. Plusieurs terrasses entourent la maison, parfaites pour profiter du soleil ou de l’ombre à tout moment de la journée. Le jardin, entièrement entouré de haies, nous a offert une intimité totale et une tranquillité absolue – un véritable havre de paix. Merci à Ingrid et Piet pour votre accueil chaleureux. C’était un plaisir de faire votre connaissance. La Villa Grandi Fiori est sans aucun doute une adresse où l’on rêve déjà de revenir !

The apartment decor, location, parking availability and hosts were all excellent. The digital guide book that was provided was a great resource as we explored Puglia. Highly recommend.

Perfect base to explore the region! The property was clean, comfortable and the pool/ outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and cooling down after a day exploring. Cosimo and his wife made us so welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The Trulli is beautiful inside and out, and has been decorated with love. Extremely clean and tidy with all the amenities you need for a stay away. The location is peaceful, but great for using as a central base to travel around Puglia. We have had the most amazing five days here and would highly recommend. Highly responsive to any questions. The family even booked a table for us and arranged a taxi to and from a local restaurant. Thankyou so much for everything, we hope to be back again one day. Fabulous memories made. x
