Really lovely

2 week stay with my family of 4 in the big bungalow. A nice quiet space and location on the northern edge of Pai. 20 min walk into main town or a short scooter. Great outdoor kitchen and sitting area to watch the cows and birds. The bungalow was very clean and Noi also cleaned whilst we went away for a couple of nights. All amenities worked well and there was A/C in the living room and a hot shower - which weren't included in the description - so that was great. We used the nice pool across the road almost everyday for a small fee (50b for kids and 100b for adults). Recommend for those wanting a peaceful stay in Pai.

Utopai is not just a comfy place to lay your head, it truly is a life changing experience. The grounds are an absolute dream. We spent our mornings sunning by the pool, our afternoons relaxing by the creek and our evenings taking in the magical energy of the pool house. We stayed at the Stone Garden House which was a perfect set up for two couples. The home is located close to the pool but facing away, allowing you to feel truly secluded in the jungle. Mon and Cliff were wonderful hosts. Both seasoned travelers, they naturally knew when and how to give us space, while still always available, making us feel comfortable and like we were leaving behind a home and new friends in Pai. They accommodated all of our requests - food delivery, scheduled massages and acupuncture on sight, and even set up a birthday gathering! Thank you for sharing your space and energy with us. From four travelers who stay in, own and personally run Airbnbs, one million stars! This place is an absolute gem. ♥️

I had a good time with a lovely family. This is a highly recommended place if you want to take a little inconvenience and know the life of the locals. Ron's father-in-law also did his own local cuisine. Ron knows a lot of good places to visit around. The small neighborhood is also very good. I made a lot of memorable memories here. I am also willing to revisit. Information 1.There are more than 3 places selling village food. You can cook the ingredients yourself in Rhone's house. 2. There are also small restaurants in town. 3. I helped them when I made a long bamboo chair. Heh. Caution 1. Small-town dogs run wildly in the morning and evening. If you want to explore the village, I recommend bringing one stick with you. Dogs are exhausted during the day. However, it is difficult for people during the day. 2. I'm in the middle of a mountain, so the diurnal temperature difference is substantial. When you sleep, make sure you warm up and sleep. You will feel all 4 steps a day.

This property belongs on your bucket list! The pics cannot properly highlight the location, the views, the cleanliness, the kindness of the hosts, the perfection of this home; just book and thank me later when you review for yourself :)) Pai is a wonderful little town but it is difficult to find *proper* accommodations w/ everything working and in perfect condition +++ a perfect location. Tom and his family provided a level of thoughtfulness and kindness that I found warm and inspiring. The little things, organic local eggs, proper butter, fresh local coffee, fresh mangoes & papaya - you get the idea; this place represents the-best-of-the-best for what Pai has to offer - Enjoy and Find out For Yourself :))

This stay is perfect for wanting to escape the city and surround yourself in nature. The staff were super friendly and accommodating

The place is a dream. My only regret is not having stayed longer in Pai and in these cabins. It's not that convenient for a short stay given you need to rent a motorbike in the center, but that was already mentioned in the reviews and I still wanted to stay here. if you get a motorbike rent and some snacks, this is unbeatable. women at the main house and friendly and will call a cab for you if needed. Just like the photos, place is perfect for a retreat in nature. Wonderful place, would love to come back!

really clean and lively stay

Cozy place with plenty of space. The accommodation has a deep pool and the possibility of a small breakfast. We rented scooters. Unfortunately, one of them stopped working after a few rides. However, we were not charged for the day. The staff on site was very friendly. However, when visiting Pai, one should keep in mind that the water in this area often comes out of the tap brown, there are more power outages and there are a lot of insects. If that doesn't bother you, you'll have a great time in Pai.

Loved our stay. Absolutely perfect. The views and rooms were beautiful. Huge bed and lovely bathroom. Only 5 minutes from walking street. Would definitely stay here again

I was lucky to have enjoyed the Mushroom House for two months, and I was sad to leave. Both host and associated family were wonderful , friendly and accommodating, and I will miss them. The house itself is qwerky, comfortable and private. If you are looking for something different then make sure you book it.

Lovely little place, good distance from the main strip quiet but close to walk to everything. very cosy dressing gowns provided and peaceful on the balcony to read.

I’m a girlfriend of John. I stayed at Ban Dalah, where Garry welcomed me with warmth and kindness. From the moment I arrived, I felt an emotional connection while talking to him. He was open, kind, and an excellent listener. What touched me the most was when he assured me that I would be safe in his space. My experience there was peaceful and calming, the perfect retreat from the stress of work. Watching the sunrise from the balcony, just as Garry described, was uplifting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were soft. One of the highlights of my stay was the dog though. I can’t recall his name he brought me so much comfort like he knew exactly how I was feeling. I truly love Ban Dalah, and Garry is an exceptional host. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to escape the busyness of life and find some peace. I deeply appreciate you 🙏🏽✨

Hideout near overbusy Pai. Ideal for anyone who is looking for really quiet beautifull place full of art.

Our stay at this mesmerizing place was too short. But you don't need too much time to fell in love with Ban Dalah. As soon as you step inside the premises, the feeling of the peace and comfort overwhelms you. Garry is a wonderful host! The room is tastefully decorated, like everything else on the property, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a mini fridge, kitchen sink and the most important - the balcony with the stunning view of the rice fields and the mountains. The hot water in shower is available 24x7. The common area is designed in the such way, that the visitors could fell into meditative and rejuvenative state without any extra effort. Please note, that the place is completely renovated and now under the new management since November 2023. All reviews before November 2023 (positive or negative) We definitely would love to come next year and stay much-much-much longer. I highly recommend this oasis!

Had a lovely and peaceful 2-night stay at Garry’s place on my Mae Hong Son loop scooter journey. Garry was very attentive, and the full moon and sun rises from the back porch were a bonus. Nash the cute dog was also there to welcome me each time I returned. Would certainly stay again. Thanks Garry.
