Evan is a great host and the place is wonderful! Really enjoyed the stay! The house is large, clean and within walk distance to the beach, just as described.

I have loved San Diego for a very long time, but it was my first time to stay so close to the beach. The location is just lovely for being in the middle of SD for being fairly equal distance to La Jolla or Coronado or downtown—-but also such an easy walk to the beach for when you want to stay closer to your home base. I really can’t say enough good things about the decor, the comfort, the friendly hosting, etc etc etc. We are already plotting a return to Corrine’s spot because it was the perfect space for our mom & daughter getaway. If I could come back next week, then I would. San Diego is so wonderful to experience as a local, and this was the perfect spot for that.

Our host John provides a beautifully decorated home in a quiet, central neighborhood. The setup is exceptional, with both a heated pool and hot tub, and the experience felt like staying in a boutique hotel. He thoughtfully includes amenities like toothbrushes, makeup remover wipes, cotton pads, and more — the attention to detail really impressed us. We absolutely loved our time in La Jolla, and John’s local tips were spot-on. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend booking with him.

We had a great stay! Perfect location for going to the beach and access to lots of shops and restaurants in the Pacific Beach area. Yard was spacious and great for our dog.

Nice place, plenty of room for 2. We enjoyed biking around Mission Bay. There is some construction noise nextdoor on weekday mornings, but the host warned us well in advance and she was great to communicate with. Also, we were awake by 8 am anyways due to the time difference coming from the east coast, so it didn't bother us.

We loved how close we were to The beach and the bay. Also were able to walk to restaurants and the arcade.

Awesome stay. We spent most of our time at the beach and soccer tournament. Was nice to have a driveway parking space since street parking was limited. The backyard was great place to relax. Location was perfect driving distance to everything we had planned to do. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here for my son’s graduation from college and it was perfect in every way. We grilled out one night, the hot tub was heated and ready for us, we had done family friends over to celebrate the day of and everything was exactly as described! The location is excellent for Pacific Beach and we spent a night out with an easy very short Uber ride. We loved our stay and will be back!

Prime location, great amenities, place looks exactly like the photos, very very clean.. I have no qualms! Anna is very prompt with her instructions and responds quickly if needed. She goes above and beyond to satisfy and cater to her guests. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for a short term stay-- all complimentary, as well. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and smooth. My only complaint (which is a personal preference and why I won't dock anything from her rating but figured it would be helpful for those who are light sleepers like me) is that the overhead window that is over the bed does not have any curtains. It makes sleeping soundly for light-sensitive sleepers like me a bit difficult! This was easily fixable by bringing my travel black out curtain. Just a friendly heads up for those alike. I will be on the lookout for her listing any time I'm back in SD!

We were a group of four and we really enjoyed our stay at Richard's place. It's very well equipped, so you feel right at home with everything you need to make your stay as accommodating as possible. Instructions were clear and precise, from the host's communications to the labels in the light switches that don't require any guesswork. Decoration is uplifting and perfectly suits the ambiance to make you feel both welcome and cozy. You can see the attention to details everywhere, from the available spices if you want to cook, the electric bottle opener, the board games and all the rest of the gear and even the foam protections in the kitchen's countertop corners. All of those things make for a comforting and easy stay at the place.

We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend at Richard's place!! Very cute cottage that was clean, bright, and had all the amenities. We loved that he included a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for us to use. The beach was an easy few blocks away and took about 10 to 15 minutes to get to. Restaurants are within walking distance too. There were also plenty of bikes and helmets available to use and my family was able to enjoy a lovely ride in the neighborhood. Richard was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back!!

What a great location in North PB. Close to restaurants and walkable to the beach. It was great for our little family of 3. The place had all the necessities we needed. Neldia was a great host. Responsive and courteous.

Location, location, location. This unit is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Village of La Jolla has to offer, from the coves and the park to the walking trails along the bluff and all the cafes, shops, eateries and bars along the way. Well appointed space, clean and comfortable; I made use of the beach towels and sunscreen provided which was appreciated. Host was responsive which is always a plus.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Perfect base to attend conference, trolley stop just down the road which was only a few stops away from gaslight area and conference center. Bed was really comfortable, and whilst there was occasional street noise I found it quiet at night and slept really well. Rachel has decorated the apartment beautifully and having a kitchen is fabulous. The rooftop terrace is great to chill out and the washing line was really handy to hang out handwashed clothes, if you are lucky you might get a visit from the friendly cats next door. Rachel was really responsive to questions, great restaurants near, and a few small grocery stores.

Such a cute little cottage! I can’t wait to come back! … I LOVED it! — And the space was absolutely perfect for me on a solo trip. The location is right between the Bay and the Beach … only steps away from each. And the restaurants are nearby along with the market, shopping, running and biking trails, and everything is literally right there! The unit itself was cute as heck, with genuine hardwood floors, updated kitchen and updated bathroom, and A/C was very nice. The garage was very very tight, but thank God for having a designated garage space in that location. Otherwise the parking would have been impossible. I backed in a convertible Mustang in the that garage each night, but I recommend a smaller vehicle. The most important part of my stay was the comfort of the bed, and it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED ever!! I slept all night every night, which I never do. Like I said, I can’t want to come back and am already looking at dates!

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

Location is wonderful short walk to the beach 2-2 min. Simon provided a beach bag, boogie board, beach towels, and beach umbrella, which made going to the brach easy and more entertaining for my 13 yo. Great stay.

Great time! Really close to the beach and the condo was really clean and equipped with everything needed

Location of this Condo is right by Crystal Pier and surrounding restaurants. It served it's purpose for my family and I. It was myself, mother, 4 teenage kids and 6 month baby. We walked the board walk before relaxing at the beach, baby fell sleep during the walk so we took him to where other family was already posted for beach day. When he woke up, we did not have a bottle but luckily the condo unit was 5 minutes back up to the room and back. With a 6 month or infant toddler age your going to have to be carrying around necessities the location of this unit minimized alot of this. Konos was a great place, they serve breakfast all day which is a win for me. There is a bar called The Hideaway, didn't get a chance to go in but they are very busy which in turns means they have to restock their supplies. This is done early morning so workers and their equipment can be heard, this did not bother us but maybe concern for those with good hearing. Our stay was great I definitely recommend.

Perfect mission beach stay

The was a great spot for our family. The condo was big enough for what we needed and steps from the beach, bay and great restaurants. Easy to get everything. Ashwini made it very easy and had wonderful recommendations. We would stay here again.

This IS the place to stay on Mission Beach. We have rented quite a few places there over the years and this one was THE BEST! Perfect location, beautiful interior, clean, modern, convenient. We will definitely be back and will recommend to other Zonies!

Fantastic location, right on the beach 3rd floor. Love the Condo. Plenty of room. Swathi is a fantastic host. Everything is in walking distance.
