House holiday rentals in Pacific Beach, San Diego

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

Loved staying at Su’s beautiful Airbnb! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might think of from aluminium foil to a pressure cooker. Plenty of silver wear, plates, bowls, pots, pans, cups and mugs. There was a lot of towels and extra blankets and covers and plenty of extra space for people to lay on and sleep. The backyard is as beautiful as the picture but a bit smaller than I expected which isn’t that big of a deal but very beautiful! This is the best vacation I ever had and I think it’s because of this beautiful airbnb that felt like home. Su is extremely polite and responsive. I asked her to heat up the pool and she did right away. I also asked for propane and she provided the same day! I will definitely be coming back to Su’s Airbnb.

The location is unbeatable, and the views are breathtaking. Mark was responsive and thoughtful throughout the whole booking process. Once we were checked in, he reached out to make sure we were all good and had what we needed. I would love to come back here. Thanks for having us, Mark!

If you have a family with children this is the PERFECT place! Not only are there plenty of toys and board games to keep the kids entertained, there is also a pool and jacuzzi. This rental even had toothbrushes and toothpaste along with sunscreen and aloe in case you forgot.

Lindsey was an amazing host and the place was just as amazing! very nice and cozy inside and it was in a perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown. every place we had planned for the trip was very close and the beach less than 4 minutes away was a nice plus! it was very clean we spilled water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel came up still white! i would definitely stay here again :)

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was incredibly quiet, which made for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. I absolutely loved the aesthetic—thoughtfully designed, cozy, and full of charm. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made it feel even more comfortable. Highly recommend if you're looking for a serene and stylish place to unwind!

We had a great time here. Our little kids made great use of the wagon full of beach gear. The toiletries and snacks provided by the host were also a wonderful bonus. We love mission beach and this house was super convenient, well stocked and clean! We brought a larger SUV that didn't fit in the garage/driveway but street parking right in front of the house was no issue. Highly recommend.

My stay here was exactly how I wanted it to be. The home was very clean and had a lot of necessities like cookware, silverware, shower products, and so much more! Everything was super neat and organized. The bed was extremely comfy. The host was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed, also made sure all our questions were answered. I am looking forward to staying here again when I return to San Diego. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about staying here. You definitely get your moneys worth.

We enjoyed our visit to San Diego and this house was located in a great area of town. Quiet neighborhood with a nice yard if you want to hang out outside. Full kitchen and I was able to make all our meals with what was provided in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. Comfortable seating in living room and nice table and chairs.

The place was perfect for what I needed. I was staying there to go to the Del Mar fair grounds. Parking was easy. Location was good, there was a grocery store and many coffee shops on the same street. It is on a Main Street so it can get slightly loud. But it wasn’t too overwhelming. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions and recommendations. Overall was a great stay.

Michelle’s property was perfect for our stay. The home was extremely clean and updated. Had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and the open floor plan downstairs made it easy to have everyone in same area without being crowded. The location was great. Easy access to beaches and the bay, tons of stores and close to freeways. The airport was close and property was so easy to find. We were very happy staying here for my oldest daughter’s graduation from USD. All around it was a great pick and we would definitely stay again!

We absolutely adored our stay! The home was gorgeous and exactly as pictured/described, with beautiful views of San Diego, lots of space for our group size, and a gorgeous patio where we spent lots of our time. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and everyone!

Super cute place in a perfect location. The little backyard oasis was an extra touch. Would 100% stay again. Hosts were amazing and allowed us to check in early which was unbelievable helpful.

I keep coming back to this amazing place which offers everything I want for my Pacific Beach stay. Marlon is a wonderful host, always helpful and very responsive. His house is spacious, comfortable, stylish and close to a great surf beach. Love the well equipped kitchen, the large living and dining area, and the backyard with surfboards and beach bike. This time I stayed for three weeks working remotely and I didn’t want to leave.

Despite the gloomy June weather we had a great time in Mission Beach. This house was right on the cove side, so not as windy or as loud as staying on the ocean side. Easily able to walk anywhere in Mission Beach up to Pacific Beach. The hot tub was nice to relax in on cool evenings and the house was comfortable, lots of outdoor space with balconies off every room. The only unexpected thing (maybe I missed it in the listing) is that on the top floor you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom but it wasn't a big deal. Japanese toilet was a big hit! Will definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our baby and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable. Parking was a breeze with plenty of spots available right outside the entrance. The location is excellent - just a short drive to the beach and close to great restaurants. Rowena was an exceptional host, always responsive and helpful, even late at night. We accidentally left behind an AirPod, and she kindly mailed it back to us at no cost - such thoughtful service! Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Diego.

A lovely place - very thoughtfully appointed with everything our family of four needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed opening the huge glass doors and hanging out on the patio. The location can’t be beat in terms of bring close to lots of restaurants and the beach. As noted the garage is a squeeze, but we managed to fit a Nissan Rogue in when the streets were crowded 😁 Bluewater was a great host - very responsive and I appreciated their thorough communication about our stay. We’d definitely rent a property through them again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Obviously, we stayed here for the ocean view and roof top terrace which did not disappoint. It is within walking distance to fun activities and places to eat. It is also close enough to some great restaurants within 2-3 miles (we used Lyft which averaged about $6-10 each way). The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was ample space for 3 adults and a teenager. There were plenty of things to do with a nice mix of peace (from the absolutely wonderful roof top terrace) and entertainment (groups on the boardwalk, Belmont Park, SeaWorld, and the Zoo). Any questions we had, Erin or Christina were quick to respond. We had an issue with hooking up the AC unit due to a piece missing that was apparently being cleaned. Within 1 hour Erin arrived with a new piece and hooked it right up for us. Amazing service! If we found ourselves in SD again, we'd definitely stay here and recommend for others!

Edward's listing was exactly as described. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. You can't be the location either. There was a small hiccup with parking and Edward was extremely responsive. The issue was sorted out immediately. I would definitely stay here again!
