This was an excellent stay for our family. The home was clean and comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. Easy walk from the train station with a good handful of restaurants nearby and a wonderful view of the ocean from the kitchen windows. The hosts were always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Usami is a lovely, quiet little town, and the train station makes other attractions in the area fairly accessible. Staying here was a very special experience, and I recommend it for anyone who wants to take it slow for a few days.

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

Ken’s apartment is wonderful. It has all the amenities required for a family stay. We were able to cook our dinner and breakfast, do laundry (washing and dryer included). The place is strategic, very short walking distance to Enoden Yanagikoji Station. We parked our car at the house and take the train to explore Kamakura area. It was a perfect house for us. I stayed here for a month while working in Tokyo — I only needed to be most central a few days a week, so was happy to be based in a smaller, more local neighbourhood for the majority of my time. There's everything I needed locally, & Tachikawa was nearby for more hardcore shopping. The nearest train stations are quite a walk away, so I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to commute far or want to be elsewhere most days. The flat itself is very well kept & furnished with nice gadgets to make daily life comfortable (e.g. electric blanket .. lifesaver). The host was kind, responsive & helpful — I knew that if I needed anything, she would help. I felt looked after & also had privacy. The internet worked well, the bathroom great. There was everything I needed to cook most meals in the kitchen. Supermarkets 10-15 mins walk away. Gym & library 15-20 mins away. I hope to return to Kunitachi next time I'm working in the city.

This was a spacious, private, villa with great views of Mt. Fuji! The sauna was excellent to have available and the house was well-stocked with necessities. The host was incredibly responsive when we had a couple of questions.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in! The host is very warm and hospitable, the room is very large and exquisite, very tasteful, completely exceeded expectations.The host explained the house in detail and clearly when we checked in, and the introduction to the surrounding area was also very good. He recommended us to see the Fireworks Festival, helped us choose the mode of transportation, and recommended delicious restaurants around.The room view is very good, and I saw a rainbow over the sea on the first day of my stay.Toiletries are all available, the marble bathtub is very spacious, and the bath is very comfortable.The music activity room is very interesting!Great value for multiple people, and two couples can be guaranteed good privacy. I hope to have the opportunity to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Aya’s place in Fujikawaguchiko! The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of Mount Fuji right from the window. Renting bikes made it super easy to explore the area while enjoying a quieter, less touristy vibe. Restaurants and amenities were still very accessible. 10/10 — would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The house was perfect for our three toddlers, the zip line kept them entertained and engaged outside. The projection TV satisfied even the adults. Great space for a quick trip to the Lake!

The room is very clean and large, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a bath tub, a vending machine at the door, and a 711 next to it.But it's not very friendly for people without a car, you have to go up a particularly steep slope, and it's inconvenient to take a taxi with your luggage.There are two rooms, the rooms are sunken, and it is not very convenient to take luggage.But the air conditioning is pretty good.I feel that it is suitable for people who have a chef and driver at home to come on vacation, and it is not suitable for students to come for team building.

From the day before, It was very helpful to be able to contact them smoothly, such as for additional people, early check-in, and late check-out. It is very pleasing for groups with fluctuating numbers of participants to be able to receive support until 20:00 the day before the event. I don't know if it was soundproofing, but even when I walked around, I couldn't hear the voices and sounds in the room, so I could enjoy it until late at night without worrying about the surroundings. B1 had a low ceiling, but the sound of the stream was pleasant, the reclining chair was good, and it was just right for after the sauna. The table was also fully set, When cooking for a large number of people, it is better to have 3 to 5 extra frying pans, bowls, and large plates. There was also a folding table, which was comfortable, but it was about the height of a dining table. It would be nice to have a folding table.

The room was very clean and I went with 10 people, but we were able to relax sufficiently.Cooking utensils were also available, and I enjoyed cooking.There was also a sauna on the veranda, and I was able to enter it in the perfect heat, and I was very satisfied with everything.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
