Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Outer Banks

We lived this beautiful condo right by the beach - spacious, convenient, with everything you may need. Great option for 3 couples it two couples with kids. You can walk to the beach or soak in the hot tub, and kids will surely love the pool. Highly recommended!

We didn’t want to leave! The Albermarle Sound views don’t get any better than this! With the home’s back deck facing due North, both the sun rises and sunsets were completely visible and amazing! We loved opening the back door and listening to the lapping waves as we relaxed in the cozy chaise lounge and big leather couch. The open floor plan allows for water views throughout the entire main living space. The furniture is super comfy, and the decor is wonderfully eclectic! The kitchen was well stocked with every cooking utensil you need. The friendly neighborhood is very walkable. One word of caution: the front door opens to the master bathroom and bedroom. If vacationing here with anyone other than your significant other, you would want to make arrangements/have an understanding that the individuals staying in the 2nd bedroom would enter through the back door. We would definitely stay here again!

Great value.....house was spotless, king sized bed very comfortable with fresh, clean linens. Cottage has a very new feel to it. Short drive to old Manteo (which is adorable with ample parking), easy biking access to trails right from the cottage. This cottage is on a back street and as such, there are no real views to be had. That being said, it served our needs and we would happily stay there again.

Home matched the description and photos. Just a brief walk to the beach. Nice around to walk our dog around as well. Coffee shop close by. The hot tub was a nice plus for our stay. Host provided clear/helpful directions.

We had a great stay at Michelle‘s house! It is even more beautiful than the pictures. She truly thought of everything. The neighborhood is peaceful and it is convenient to the beach and all that Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hill have to offer. The house was spotless, the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, and the restaurant recommendations were spot on. The house is beautiful beautifully decorated, bright, and uncluttered, making for a peaceful stay. We will be back and hopefully next time we will be able to stay for more than two nights!

Very nice place to stay! It was in the middle of almost everything that we visited while we were there! Very clean and cosy as well!

It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay in this great location steps from the beach and pier. Having access to bikes, hammock, beach chairs and beach towels was a great bonus. The outdoor shower was fun! Definitely hope to return. Tami was great, always quick to respond and everything was well detailed in the description and instructions.

Our stay at Skye’s the limit was amazing. The cottage was newly renovated and everything was in great condition and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the room with the bunk bed. The location was great and close to the beach with lots to do around.

Great quiet space and ideal location right next to Jockey’s Ridge that’s walkable to the Sound, would definitely stay here again!

This place is a historical old home with lots of charm and whimsy. In the evening there's local musicians playing and there's drinks available for purchase in a old brick courtyard with a fountain and lots of comfortable furniture The owners are on premises during the day to answer questions and make sure your stay is perfect but they aren't intrusive or meddling at all The suite i stayed in had everything for a comfortable stay, the suite was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall vibe was welcoming and kind

Maria's place was beautiful! Everything was so clean and neat. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, if you feel like a change from eating out. The place is located very close to so many different fun activities like golf, hike, water parks, plenty of restaurants etc I would highly recommend Maria's place to anyone planning a trip to Nags Head, NC.

We had a great time at this place! Very accurate description and faithful to the pictures. Kitchen and bathroom in pristine conditions, clean linens and lots of gadgets to bring to the beach. Those bikes and the V shaped scooter was plus! I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Casa de Luz! It was a terrific home-base for our first OBX visit. We loved all of the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. Lots of beach gear was provided, so we didn't have to buy our rent anything. Our kids loved the toys and games that Heather provided as well as the lovely park & playground across the street.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the area. The weather was not good, lots of clouds and rain which was unusual for this time of year, but we could still find plenty to do. Would love a couple of comfortable chairs added as we had to spend more time than planned inside watching tv. We would definitely stay here again.

Mark’s place was really great. He greeted us when we got there. He responded very quickly if we had any issues. The house was not far from the beach and we had a blast. We will definitely stay here again when we come again.

Dave's place is amazing! The listing is exactly as described, and was perfect for our family of 4. Communication with Dave was thorough and timely. The location is excellent, with a view of the ocean from the front porch. We loved the sliding door in the master bedroom that allowed us to walk right out onto the porch. It's so close to the beach! Less than a 1 min walk and you're on the sand! I've never stayed in a more well stocked Airbnb! Everything from extra linens to toiletries is provided! Beach supplies and all! We walked to dinner, or drove less than 10 mins to some great places. We already decided we want to book a longer trip next summer! It was fantastic!

Took a few days on my own to unwind and the condo fit the bill perfectly. Quiet and pretty surroundings just a short drive into town. It was nice coming back every afternoon after visiting the beaches and Manteo to this quiet spot.

Beautiful condo that is right on the water. The view from the balcony is worth staying at this condo. There is easy beach access and the condo is clean. It is the perfect size and location for a beach getaway. Gene is extremely friendly and responsive as well.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

My little family loved staying here! Cozy condo! Great location and an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again. Very nice and clean place.

Absolutely wonderful condo in Manteo! The space was clean, super comfortable and the location was perfect. Looks exactly as the pictures show, but with an even better view of the water from the patio. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We went to see The Lost Colony at Fort Raleigh and was able to walk via an easy walking path right outside of the condo. We will 100% stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
