Cozy Purgatory Condo, Steps to the Slopes

This eclectic 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is located in the Angelhaus complex at Purgatory Resort in Durango, Colorado. It's just a short walk from the main ski lifts and Mountain Village which offers shopping, dining & activities. We recently did several upgrades to our unit including a remodel of both bathrooms and new flooring. Our unit is at the end of the first floor which makes it very convenient for coming and going with skis in the winter and bikes in the summer.

Lovely little slice of Telluride!

We've re-designed and recently completed a lovely remodel. We've opened up walls, taken out extraneous owner's closets and made it into a much more usable short-term rental. Though the 1 bedroom condo is only 450 square feet, it feels like the perfect amount of space for a 4 person family or a couple and a couple friends. Really enjoyed the stay at Tammaron Lodge Unit 327. Scenery very nice all around Glacier area and especially from the room. Easy 15 minute drive to Durango, yet very quiet area to stay. Unit was very nicely equipped and provided everything needed for the stay. Pool area very nice with warm weather during the stay. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Durango and will consider staying again on the next trip to Durango!.

Beautiful location. Close to downtown and the hot springs. Very walkable. Right next to the river which was wonderful to hear. Rained the majority of our trip, so wasn’t able to enjoy the deck much, but looked beautiful. Well themed. Could be a little cleaner, but otherwise large space, great amenities and really had the ouray feel. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall great stay, would come back.

This condo was the perfect place for our stay. Our party of five had plenty of space. We appreciated having three full bathrooms. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and the common living areas were comfortable. Beautiful views from the balcony and it was nice and quiet in the evenings. Perfect place to explore Durango and nearby areas.

I highly recommend this location at Purgatory. It’s spacious for a family, has an open layout with two balconies (including beautiful views), and is very close to mountain amenities. This location includes resort access, which not all do, and it’s such a great add to have a gym, pool and hot tub at the end of lifts closing. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking your own meals. We had everything we needed, even seasonings. The ski lockers were also nice for storing gear away. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this rental unit. Has a fully stocked kitchen which was great, including spices and oils. Location is great on edge of town but w/i walking distance of everything (25 yards from grocery store) and 2 min walk to ski lift. Only thing that could use upgrade is the mattresses/beds in upstairs loft. Not comfortable at all for my grown children or any adult who would have to sleep in loft.

Our first time at Purgatory with our family of 5 and the location was great! Hosts were responsive if we had a question, a short walk to the ski lift and loved that it was on the first floor. Also loved the bench outside the door to put on and take off your ski boots. Highly recommend!
