Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Oudezijds Voorburgwal

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We enjoyed our stay at Brenda and Michael’s super clean, spacious, well appointed home. It was full of light and the eclectic decor really added to the experience. The location was ideal, just 2 train stops from Centraal with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the house. Communication couldn’t have been better. We had a issue with the coffee machine and Michael stopped by the same day to fix it. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

The house is spacious enough for 4 people and very neat organized. Self check-in/check-out is friction free and Michelle responded almost instantly to our messages. There's a pretty good Asian restaurant less than 5 minutes away and a grocery store. The bus station to get downtown Amsterdam is by the house and it will take you about 30-40 minutes to get to downtown.

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!

The apartment is beautiful, tidy and everything was working perfectly. The location is great, close to local bars and restaurants, and also close to the beautiful dome of Utrecht. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

I had a wonderful stay at Albert’s guesthouse! Albert was incredibly supportive, responsive, and friendly throughout my visit. He even picked me up from the bus station at midnight, which I truly appreciated, and kindly lent me his iPhone adapter. The guesthouse is beautiful, full of natural light, and surrounded by peaceful nature. It’s in a great location—quiet and relaxing, yet not too far from the city. You can even use one of the bikes parked at the property to explore the area, or bike to the closest bus stop which is 10 minutes away then take bus to Amsterdam central station, the bus takes around 15 mints. The place has everything you need for a comfortable and refreshing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city for a while. I will definitely return in the near future—thank you, Albert!

Debbie’s place is absolutely outstanding. Huge windows overlooking the Amstel so even if it’s raining, it isn’t gloomy. Super comfortable big bed, beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Stylish but comfortable furniture in every room. Debbie is really helpful and has loads of good suggestions about where to go and what to see. But you could just lie on the day bed, look out of the window at the passing action - boats, cyclists, dog walkers - and be content! Great pub/restaurant on the corner two minutes’ walk from flat. Most fabulous place we’ve ever stayed.

Laurens place was fantastic. Very comfortable for 4 adult ladies. Loved the outside balcony. It was well equipped with everything we needed and nice fresh linens. One thing that is on the listing but I seemed to miss was the amount of stairs required to get to the unit. It is a 4th floor unit with no lift. The stairs are steep and narrow. Laurens was helpful with assisting our bags up to the unit. My mom is 74 and made it but it was a little difficult for her. Once you get into the unit it is well worth the climb. We were happy to have our watches on to track those flights and log the steps taken! We would all happily stay again in the future.

A wonderful stay at Mike's place. The apartment is modern yet somehow quite eclectic. The location is perfect - you fall out to some great places to eat and drink that are all a few minutes walk from the apartment. I would highly recommend it.

The apartment was excellent – tastefully designed and located right in the heart of Amsterdam. We could easily walk to any central spot in the city. Everything was very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The host was also very friendly and responsive, always quick to reply to our messages. Highly recommended!

Great location close to the canals and public transits. Plenty of local spots to have Great meals and enjoy the sights and sounds of Amsterdam. Only downside of the apartment is if accessible is a concern, the stairs are quite steep.

Winnie’s communication was impeccable, she couldn’t have been more welcoming. I went for a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend, and Winnie could not have done more, the decorations the complimentary Prosecco and she even sorted out a personalised cake for him! The location is great just a short 15 min walk into the centre, or 10 mins by tram. Two supermarkets right around the corner and a lovely cafe serving breakfast lunch and dinner. An information form was left for us about the area and recommendations which we certainly looked at- you must visit the local Windmill brewery!! The place was clean and so cosy, big TV with Netflix and a lovely balcony to take in the evenings atmosphere! The kitchen also has everything you would need and spotlessly displayed. Cannot recommend staying at Winnie’s place enough, we fell in love with Amsterdam after only 1 week. Safe to say we will be back soon and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else apart from Winnie’s🥰

Absolutely loved staying here with my husband and two teenagers. Location was perfect — close to sites and in a wonderful neighborhood for strolling and eating (Jordaan). The host was super responsive and helpful. The accommodations were even better than expected. Thank you!!!

Tamas was great! He was a very helpful & responsible host. The space was clean, comfortable, and we really enjoyed having some private outdoor space. The kitchen had everything you could need, and we liked having the option to cook our own meals, although there were also of plenty restaurants & cafe’s nearby.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Ernst was incredibly responsive and welcoming. Waking up to the serene canal view every morning was pure bliss. The central location made exploring effortless, with amazing cafes and restaurants right at the doorstep. The apartment itself had every thoughtful touch that made us feel completely at home. Can't recommend this gem highly enough – thank you for an unforgettable Amsterdam experience!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch unser kleiner Sohn hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt, was uns als Familie besonders wichtig ist. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. The photos don’t do the place justice. Emilie and Dirk-Jans went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Lovely neighbourhood with easy walking and public transport options.

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Joze is a very friendly host who answered all of our questions and was very happy to assist in whatever way she could. The apartment is nice - stairs are steep but that is fair enough considering it’s Amsterdam - it’s all like that. Peaceful neighbourhood with a great cafe 1 minute walk away.

Peter’s apartment m was fantastic— a completely equipped and cozy flat in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods I’ve ever seen. We received ample communication and great recommendations. The value is definitely there in terms of places to stay in Amsterdam!

Gospodarz wypełnił lodówkę niespodziewanym poczęstunkiem napojami oraz winem, co nas miło zaskoczyło. W mieszkaniu było dużo miejsca, było ogólnie ładnie. Troszkę zmarzłam w nocy, ale w gorące dni będzie super. Słychać było kroki mieszkających nad nami oraz jak ktoś używa wodę, ponieważ dom jest dawno wybudowany. Napewno bardzo ładny ogródek. Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Gospodarz.
