Joshua was an excellent host. He was very responsive and flexible. The home was exactly as described. The yard was great for the kids to play in. View from the deck is beautiful and very quiet and relaxing. House was a great fit for our vacation. Bedrooms were very nice with comfy mattress and bedding. Bathrooms were stocked with a few essentials which is always a great touch. Living room / dining room area are beautiful and well designed to host a larger group like ours. We most definitely would recommend and would stay at the home again! Thank you Joshua for saving our vacation!

Home away from home with beautiful views, and friendly neighborhood. We had good and bad weather on the trip and were so happy that we were able to entertain ourselves by enjoying the spacious home, hot tub, boardgames and grill and were also able to step outside for all the beautiful lake Michigan views and tunnel park just a very short drive away. We had a last minute change and Stacy was more than accommodating and made sure we felt welcome. We enjoyed our stay here.

We enjoyed our stay! It felt like home away from home and was a cozy escape from the winter weather. The hot tub is a nice value add also!

Very cozy, cute guesthouse in a super safe area. Bedroom and sitting room were huge and the bed was comfy. A quiet place, there were nice areas to walk around near the river and the park. Heidi was responsive and helpful and I will stay here again when visiting GR!

Wine Down Cottage in its quiet, relaxing setting on Spring Lake really set the tone for our week. Beautiful sunsets this time of year! Outside was great for having our family over to chill in the backyard. The Cornhole, bikes, plenty of seating and the beautiful landscaping were a great fit. So appreciate a ranch style home with no stairs! Inside was well appointed with everything we needed since we like to cook. Great decor, extra kitchen supplies (like paper towels, foil and baggies), an abundance of towels, and super comfy beds. Very smart use of a small space! Did not feel small at all w 3 of us sleeping there. Note to other summer renters: the lake levels are so low right now, it made getting in & out of our kayaks & sups kinda challenging since the ladder from the dock was not touching the water. For us, being in a no wake zone meant calmer paddles. But if you have a motor or pontoon boat, you may not be able to pull it up to the dock (but that’s nature’s fault, not the host).

Area was pretty quiet. House was perfect for our trip and had what we needed. Kitchen actually had pots and pans unlike other places we have stayed, so the was a great plus.

I had a great time staying here for a long weekend! The location was perfect—very walkable and close to everything I needed. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back!

This was the second time I stayed at Pamela's lovely home. The place is adorable and well equipped and very clean. It is perfect for one person or a couple. As a solo traveler I felt very safe. looking forward to next year already.

It was a great little place to stay at right by Lake Michigan. Less then a 4 minute walk to get to the beach and a lot of things within walking distance. And down town grand haven was a 5 minute car ride

It was such a treat to be right on Lake Michigan and to be able to see it from the house. We liked the vintage feel of the house, like stepping back in time. The views from the enclosed porch, the deck, and the upstairs window were spectacular. We could hear the waves at night, lulling us to sleep. At the time we rented, the listing said there was no Wi-Fi, but there actually was Wi-Fi. Our children enjoyed swimming and playing on the beautiful private beach. It was a fabulous experience all around!

While visiting for our wedding and hosting our family, we experienced a power outage. This made for quite the showcase of Scott’s care for those he hosts. He was very proactive and communicated thoroughly. He went out of his way to care for our needs to get us through the unforeseen occurrence. We had such a blast and felt right at home in the clean and gorgeous property. Can’t thank you enough for the memories! Hoping to return in the future to build on them!

Great stay. Loved the location. Tucked away but close to everything we wanted. Very old but romantic house made for a peaceful get away during the slower time of the year, right after a holiday weekend.

This is the perfect family gathering spot, midway between Holland and Grand Haven, with beautiful views of Lake Michigan, access to an awesome beach, and within a very short driving distance to any number of hiking trails, both beachside and inland. The property was spotless when we arrived and keyless entry meant that we did not have to worry about losing keys (which I am prone to do). BVW Unsalted was a great host, fielding a couple of questions we had immediately and after office hours.
