Very nice house with lots and lots of fantastic toys inside and outside for the kids!

Everything was perfect for our stay, and we found the peace and the beauty of the landscapes that we hoped for from Jan, his house and from Tyssebotn. The description is faithful to reality, and Jan is really available to provide information and help us discover this magnificent fjord, its history and its boat! The house is very warm and has all modern comforts, basic cleaning kits, linens, dishes and fast Wifi. Tyssebotn has a grocery store which helped us a lot, even offering coffees with a warm and friendly welcome!

We loved our stay here; you absolutely can’t beat the view and it’s super peaceful. The bathrooms in particular are really nice and were very clean! There is only one true shower as the master bath is a giant tub with a handheld sprayer but no curtain or hook for the handheld sprayer, but still very manageable and the other full bath has a stand up shower. We did not have a vehicle, but the host provided instructions with pictures for us to get to the house; we managed just fine with the 92 bus and train connection into Bergen. Be warned that the transit doesn’t run 24/7 though, so we had to schedule a taxi for an early morning airport departure. We would absolutely stay again; thanks for a great visit!

We had a lovely week at Fredrik and Trine’s. A perfect place to stay if you have young children. The house had everything we needed for our 1 year old daughter - including plenty of toys! Very clean and in a beautiful location.

The house is even more beautiful in reality than in the photos. The garden is wonderful, the view is great. Bergen is within easy reach. We were able to meet Vegard briefly in person, he is a very nice and accommodating person. Overall, we felt very comfortable, were able to relax well and would be happy to come back.

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

A beautiful and charming Westland house with a very special atmosphere. The house is tastefully and thoroughly furnished, and the location by the fjord is spectacular. The sun conditions are perfect from morning to night. A place where you can really relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We're looking already forward returning!

Absolutely stunning views from every window and huge windows in the living room. Helpful, friendly and quick-to-answer hosts. Walkable area with a wide side-walk and a tranquil neighborhood. A beautiful body of water within walking distance as well. Big clean house and dish soap, hand soap and toilet paper provided. Bedding and towels were also included. We had to contact them because we made the alarm go of by accident and they were very helpful and responded immediately!

Had a great stay in the apartment. Location is as good as it gets. We walked to everything. The apartment is spacious and felt very clean. All the conveniences you can ask for is in the place. We didn't lack for anything. I would gladly return.

We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

We stayed five nights in Svein's apartment. The apartment has everything you need and is located 2 minutes from the bus station. You need about 20 minutes to get into Bergen city. The communication was excellent and very pleasant. Svein is an open and very kind person who’s great to talk to and always happy to share helpful tips. His wife even drove us to the starting point of our hike once – incredibly kind. 😊 I can highly recommend this accommodation – we had a great time. Thank you to Svein and his wife! :)

The apartment was in a great location close to everything with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It was spotless, very spacious with lots of storage and it was well equipped and not far from the main tourist sights and rail station. We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was in easy walking distance to many of Bergen’s attractions and we liked having a view of the city. The apartment was quite private for being in the middle of the city. There was some noise heard from tenants in the apartment above, but mostly just footsteps; nothing bothersome.

Even better than described! Also, the view is just stunning. We were obsessed with this place and everything was great!

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Awesome place for a quiet stay in Bergen, not far from nature. Beautiful and well maintained property, superb walking paths few minutes behind the house, easy access to downtown, nice views from the balcony. Eldrid is an outstanding host. Her warmth, hospitality and genuine care made our stay very comforting and enjoyable. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of the apartment to the welcoming atmosphere she naturally creates. It felt like a real home to us and we would definitely come here again and stay longer ! Much longer ! :) A heartfelt thank you for your hospitality, Eldrid !

We spent 10 days at Linda's. The house is very lovingly furnished with everything you need to feel comfortable. Linda was always prompt and friendly to reach. We absolutely recommend Linda's house!

This house was an absolute dream for a family with young kids! The location is fantastic, the kids amenities cannot be beat! The rooms upstairs are perfect for kids but were challenging for adults with the slanted ceilings (also we have some neck/back injuries and the beds upstairs aren’t the most comfortable). Parts of the house, and amenities (bikes) are well used and in need of replacing but would still highly recommend this place! Linda was incredibly responsive and helpful the duration of the stay. My family had the most incredible trip!

We had a very nice stay at Hilde's house. The location right on the fjord is very nice. The house was absolutely big enough for us with 10 people. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The boat, which can be rented in addition, is simple but in very good condition and has a 20 hp motor. As an angler, I can say: The fjord is an absolutely excellent body of water for mackerel and saithe. Hilde also gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you!

Peaceful location with a beautiful view of Bergen. Feels cozy and private, yet still provides quick access to the city. Cozy living area and heated floors in the bathrooms made us not want to leave!

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.
