VERY HYGGE The little house was so cosy and well appointed with extra amenities and attention to detail. The hosts - a sweet young family who live upstairs are very welcoming and helpful. The location really is perfect. Island hopping to spectacular nature reserves and landmarks and easy to visit art nouveau Ålesund which is possibly the prettiest little town in Norway. We drove to the Atlantic Ocean road and hiked Briksdalsbreen glacier. Both just a few hours driving. Thank you Stine and Jon And family for a very special few days in Vestland. We would love to visit again one day.

Despite late arrival, we were immediately "found" and warmly received. The spacious apartment is functional and nicely furnished; it has (with fresh flowers) looked at us very hospitably. Linda and her husband are always speaking, willingly giving tips, are very friendly and accessible. The river right next door is of course omnipresent due to the noise. The magnificent scenery and its richness also of berries and mushrooms are impressive. In summer, almost everything is closed, including the gastronomy. Alternatives to vacation activities in bad weather or rental options are rare (bring everything you need: books, games, diving equipment, boat, sup, etc.).

Booked very last minute at 10pm at night but a 2 night stay. Host has very fast communication and assisted us right away. Checked in no issues. Great location. Clean place and has great views and is close to everything. Host responds very quick

We loved staying at Steffen's place! The check-in was easy, the place was very clean and everything was well-labelled! Steffen stood out as a super responsive, helpful and caring host. And although the smart controls needed some time to master, the place felt a lot like home and welcoming! We wish Steffen all the best and would choose his stay again without hesitation!

A very central place to the city centre and other destinations. A nice apartment that has everything- including parking. My dog Wilde also enjoyed herself and quickly found peace. Highly recommend. And nice landlord who responded quickly to my inquiries.

This is a great apartment, close to shops and town, walks etc. Everything was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. Adriana is a great host and answered any queries we had quickly and also helped us with our luggage that didn't arrive with the flight.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful house in Stryn! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the surrounding fjords and mountains. The house is even more charming in person than in the photos – it’s cozy, spotless, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the breathtaking natural beauty of the area. We were able to visit nearby glaciers, hike through scenic trails, and enjoy the tranquility of the Norwegian countryside, all within a short drive. The house itself is a perfect retreat after a day of adventure – relaxing in the comfortable living room with panoramic views or sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee was pure bliss. The hosts were fantastic, providing detailed information about the area and making sure we had everything we needed. Monica and Håkan were very friendly, helpful and good hosts. They were always quick to help with any questions. We rented one of the boats for a day and Håkan explained everything to us well and prepared the fishing. The place is really highly recommended and we will be happy to come back 🙂

We had a great vacation in a picturesque setting. The house has a great view of the fjord and is far enough away from water and road so that even small children can play peacefully. There are 3 floors and two bathrooms. The room layout is well thought out. The property is large and the outdoor facilities (grill, panoramic sauna and jacuzzi, seating) are a great addition. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. In addition, various games for all ages for rainy days. Directly behind the house there is a nice hiking trail on the mountain and also in the area various possibilities to explore the mountains. Shopping can be done by car and 5 minutes' drive. The Syltefjord was not very rich in fish for us, but the nearby Syvdefjord was. Here, there were also porpoises to watch daily and on the evening way home, red deer with calves could be seen in the meadows. We had a fantastic time.

Fantastic and rich house with a high and modern standard, while retaining an old charm! Chickens with fresh eggs and kind pigs in the garden were a big bonus for us. The hosts were helpful and accommodating to our needs. We could feel at home with all the amenities we could have needed, both outside and inside. Hope to return!

Super nice location for exploring the area, close to the Liabygda ferry. Place was clean and had a lot of space. Wooden interior made the place feel cozy. Easy communication and instructions.
