We spent an amazing weekend at this place in Rotorua. The home was very cozy, air conditioned, clean and well looked after. The host was very responsive, proactive in communication and made us feel very welcome. It is quite centrally located and it's easy to get around walking or a few minutes driving. Highly recommended and we'll definitely visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay was a perfect 10/10! We were on a girls’ trip and felt completely safe throughout. The location was ideal—private and peaceful, yet just a short drive from the main city, Eat Streat, Redwood Forest, Polynesian Spa, and other attractions. The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained. It's an ideal spot for families or a group of friends, with a spacious backyard that's great for kids to play and adults to relax or enjoy a BBQ. Portia was an incredibly responsive and friendly host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. I highly recommend this stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Lesa's beautiful house. Lesa was an awesome host and the house was even better than we imagined, everything we needed was provided (even some fresh bread and milk). There are 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite), the lounge can be separated from the living area and also opens onto a nice sunny deck. the back yard opens onto a reserve/walkway which is awesome for walking/exercising the dog and also means you can walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants. The surrounding area is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place in Papamoa.

Just when we thought Airbnb hosts couldn’t get any better, we spent our King’s weekend at the Harbour Drive Hide Out. Paul & Fiona are the best yet! They made their home so welcoming to us from the moment we stepped in the door, it was unforgettable. They even prepared treats and a doggie bed for our paw-baby! Thank you so much!!! We will be back next year so please have your massage chair ready!! 🥹🥰

This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and the waffle station was such a fun and unique touch – my friend had a blast making waffles for breakfast! The outdoor area is lovely and well set up, with a BBQ that we didn’t get the chance to use on this short trip, but we’re already planning to come back. The high fences made it feel really secure, especially great for those travelling with dogs. Gerard was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. In terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities, this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

We had a great time at Robyn’s place, everything is perfect! Robyn is a wonderful host, easy to communicate throughout our staying. And we accidentally left some marks on the dinning table by oven tray but Robyn was understanding and gracious about that, which we really appreciated. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Great place for our family long weekend away. Everyone enjoyed, including the dogs with the beach just across the road/reserve. “Beautiful Papamoa Beach”. Supermarket and some local shops all very handy. Great size kitchen and bathrooms. Everything we needed was there and Sara replied promptly in all communications. Attention to detail was great. Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

Danielle’s home was immaculate, peaceful and way bigger than the photos make the house look! There was plenty of space to lounge around and the swimming pool and well kept grounds were an added bonus.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Craig & Jens Place. It was easy to find and in such a beautiful location, Every thing you could think of had been catered for. Craig was so lovely and really enthusiastic about showing us around, felt very honored to meet and play with Major and Parker ( the 2 dogs) We would love to come back in the warmer months for a swim in the stream.

Lovely little room with a great view. We went knowing it was a room on one end of someones home so no surprises (I think this may have threw some reviewers). Waking up with a coffee and the view over the lake made it so we had trouble finding the will to leave in the morning. The host was responsive and gave us our privacy also.

It was our first time doing something like this with our young family of 5 and we had an amazing time. The setup was perfect for a family getaway. It was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by nature. Stephanie was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kids had a blast, and so did we. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

Comfortable spot with everything you need available at the house. Close to the beach, cafes, pubs and shopping centres, so can avoid getting in the car all the time. Thanks Val ☺️

Hilary and Rob are fantastic hosts. Hilary is super friendly and accommodating. I simply inquired if there is a microwave at the place to heat up takeaway food (no big deal if there isn’t one), she went out of her way -and bought a brand new one before we checked in. We were amazed by her kindness and effort, we really appreciated it. The place is very peaceful with stunning view, highly recommended! Rochelle and Mark are great hosts. They live right next door but you wouldnt know they are there. Very responsive if you need them but very respectful of your space. Great balcony upstairs to soak up the last of the autumn rays and get on with a bit of admin with good wifi. Really long walks on a lovely empty beach within minutes away. Cats came to say hello but you wouldnt know there is a dog next door, so well behaved. A nice stay in a nice area. Would recommend.
