Discover Istria - renovated stone house

Casa Nona Roza was built by our family members in the early 20th century and it was a home of our grandparents. It was completely renovated in 2017, keeping in mind keeping the spirit of old times, combining Istrian tradition with all the elements of modern life. What makes it special is the use of traditional material: massive stone walls, wooden floors, wrought iron fence. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, dining room and living room combined in a single with air-conditioning , large bathroom and games room (darts, soccer table, bike room). On the second floor there are 3 rooms. Two bedrooms with double beds are air conditioning. One of them has the TV. The third bedroom has two single beds and the possibility of heating for cold days. Also on the same floor there is a large bathroom. What dominates the garden is a large meadow with a centennial tree under which in the afternoon you can be in the shade. In the back of the house there is a well built in 1920. Inside the building there are two parking spaces, one of which is covered. The whole property is surrounded by old walls.

We have rarely seen such a perfect spot. Beautifully renovated house, that had all the amenities you could wish for - and beyond. Extremely thought through equipment, we didn’t miss anything. The homeowner and his wife greeted us personally and very kindly, showed us the house and gave tips for a late dinner. The house itself is great, and the view over the terrace towards the mountains is simply fantastic. We have never had such a lovingly decorated and sparkling clean house! Shopping is a bit away, but we always used the back trips of excursions so we didn't have to go out extra. If you appreciate the peace and seclusion and expect a modern, great house on vacation, this is the place to be. Deni and his wife are always available by mobile phone, even if they live a little further away.

Great house for people who love atmosphere and appreciate a lovely fragrant garden. The house is old but is super. Cabinets do not close well, nice spaces with wonderfully lived-in furniture. We love the house!!! The detached cottage in the garden was also a solution. My son and his family were able to bivouac there. The rest in the big house. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful paths where it was great hiking with the dogs. And what a nature and what butterflies, insects, snakes, foxes and what else. Our problem will be mainly in the waste. We had the containers emptied as discussed but still had a lot of waste I didn't mind it for us, but I felt bad for the manager and the next tenants. All in all, if you are looking for atmosphere, a good host and beautiful surroundings, this is your home. All the nice places can be reached within 40 minutes. Neatly made beds and a good restaurant in the village itself. Pizzas everywhere..

Excellent stay in Croatia. The hosts are very welcoming and warm, available if needed and very discreet when they come for maintenance. Very well-equipped and pleasant house to live in with a terrace with views of the bay and a very nice space to cook and eat outside. Although small, the pool was very nice and cool to cope with the hot weather. The house is very quiet but a little secluded. It takes at least 15 min by car to get to the races and the sea. We recommend this accommodation anyway.

Charming Istrian Villa with pool for 8 person

Very nice tastefully decorated villa with pool. The kitchen or house is fully equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine and air conditioning in every room. The property is closed, which is pleasant for dog owners. Outside there is a foosball table , ping pong table and a dart board so there is no boredom. Plenty of seating and lounging options by the pool. There is an outdoor fireplace for the barbecue fans, but the barbecue area is not adjustable in height. Visnja greeted us personally and explained everything and gave a lot of useful information and was always available for questions. We will keep the holiday in good memory.

The hosts were very friendly and brought us homemade apple bags on the first day and farmed tomatoes over the course of the week. The house was very hygienic and owned by numerous leisure activities. The layout of the rooms is very useful and pleasant, and we also have to praise the large pool with 8.
