From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! A pavilion with picnic table and outdoor kitchen was added in 2021. Finnish steam sauna w shower was completed in fall 2019. Nice outhouse! Self Check in May - Oct. Enjoy 160 private acres with 4 miles of trails on our 3/4 mi stretch of the wild and scenic St Regis River in the Adirondack Park. Pets are ok. We Welcome Diversity!!

Labor of love, as we tried to preserve all the original features of this house. 2 bedrooms, can sleep 3 guests comfortably. 1 bathroom, small kitchen, with propane stove, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. In a small, and quiet town of Bloomingdale, NY. 10 min from Saranac Lake NY, 20 min from Lake Placid, NY. Our studio is not a luxury accommodation, but more of a country farmhouse.
