Holiday rentals with lake access in Okaloosa County

The home was incredible and everything we were hoping for and more! The neighborhood was very peaceful and we enjoyed walking around in the early mornings. Victor is a great host, very friendly and happy to provide helpful recommendations.

We enjoyed our family vacation here and would recommend to everyone! The location was on point close to all the needs including shopping malls and all. Super close to the beach as well and the private beach area was a super plus! The back yard was to die for and we spent many hours enjoying the pool , grill , and fire pit! Parking was plenty for three cars. We had a family of ten and there was plenty of space! Everything we needed for cooking was present in the home! Any questions I had Brian was a quick response away. Will definitely be staying here in the future trips when we have a smaller group. If only Brian had a place for 20 people we would definitely rent from him! The whole area was beautiful and very family oriented! We loved it can’t say that enough ! The beach is mine and my family’s happy place and home away from home. U definitely felt at home here! ❤️❤️

This house had everything we needed and all was in great working order. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked for our home cooked meals. The extra refrigerator came in handy for our beverages. Plenty of sitting room so we could spread out a bit. Karen was wonderful and always helpful. Everyone in my family wants to come back next year.

This is my family’s 2nd time staying at Ken’s and it was great! Our neighbors upstairs were quite loud with their kids stomping but that’s not Ken’s fault. Besides that, we do plan to stay again next year but preferably with both units and more family to avoid the loud upstairs. The location is perfect to grocery and shopping stores and the beach is directly across the street. Ken even met us to formerly introduce himself which made us even more comfortable. Overall, we will be back and cannot thank Ken enough for the awesome hospitality, home, amenities, and cleanliness. This place is a gem! Highly recommended :-) plus our daughter loved feeding the turtles in the back yard and the perfect sunset views over the lake. Thank Ken!

We loved our stay at the Sugar Shack and will definitely consider future visits. From the time we first requested the reservation the communication was spot on. Any updates or changes to services offered were clearly communicated prior to our stay. The view from the back porch was nothing short of fantastic! The house decor was exactly as pictured in the listing. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation! This place is an absolute gem—one of our very favorite Airbnbs! Mark and Melinda went above and beyond—extra clean condo, comfy beds, quality towels, beautiful decor, snacks, extra toothbrushes, etc. It was the little details that meant the most to us. The resort grounds were beautiful as well and the pool was super clean. A quick, easy walk to the beach (where we spent most of our time). Check in was super quick and easy. We can’t say enough good things about this property! A wonderful experience all around!

Doctorsorders was PHENOMENAL. Everything from check in to check out! Ken is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely breathtaking, and golf carts to top things off! This is a very safe yet secluded location and we couldn’t ask for more!! I’d give 6 stars if I could!! Truly a five star home and location!

Steve was great. We were already in town and he was able to accommodate us to stay an extra night at his place after our previous booking expired. His place is spacious and has a lot of character. will definitely consider our next vacation with him. thank you again!

Great place to stay in Niceville right on the bay. Melissa's Place was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the bay watching the boats come in.

Wesley’s place was perfect for 2-4 ppl, couch and airbed included! Nice spacious balcony! Close to the beach but not walking distance. Many shopping, activities, and dining options nearby. Right off Highway 98 with gated access, golf cart rental and a pool! Wesley graciously accepted my reservation the day of check-in! He thoroughly communicated all of the details necessary to access the unit. It was exactly as described and a great budget-friendly/last minute location. Everything you need is there…and if not, Walmart was 5-7mins away (Alcohol was cheaper there too!) I loved the privacy and space offered. Can’t wait to come back to Destin and stay here again!

We enjoyed staying at Haydee’s place. It was a spacious place and was set up nicely for a family to stay all week (including a washer and dryer). It was about a 15-20 min walk to the beach so you did not have to drive. There were also places to eat which were walkable. The only issues we experienced were paying for parking by QR code and a louder neighbor upstairs one evening, but these were both out of Haydee’s control, and she was very responsive the whole time.

We had an absolute amazing stay. The host was amazing, and quickly responsive . The only complaint that I have is that we had to leave. everything was as described. I will definitely be returning to this Airbnb. It is equipped with literally everything you need for your stay . The walk-in shower has Bluetooth lights and it’s very relaxing after a long day of having so much fun. Everything was nearby. Thank you so much for the amazing stay❤️

This was the perfect place to stay for a little trip. It is also the perfect distance to the beach and places to eat!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The owners had a beautiful comfortable place for us to enjoy our vacation. The rooms were spacious and their were two rooms with a master bath. They have a enclosed garage and one extra parking spot and an overflow lot for extra guests. The outside patio was spacious and had nice patio furniture all around the open living kitchen and lounging areas. The access to the beach was only a 5 minute walk. I would have to say that our stay was worth every cent we spent and look forward to staying here again.
