Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Ohio River

What an absolute gem of a stay. The property is impeccably maintained and so beautiful. The guests house that we stayed in was so comfortable and very clean. The bed is quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The pool and the hot tub are perfect. The doggo’s are super sweet and lovable. Danielle and the rest of the team are all very smart and a pleasure to talk with. We will definitely be referring the place to our friends and will be back ourselves every year as long as it’s available.

We loved staying at Gretchen’s. Will definitely book again. It was super cozy, close to a lot of great restaurants and easy to get to! The hot tub was absolutely the best after long days walking and working. Very cool spot!

Our host was amazing! They were quick with their responses and was extremely accommodating and helped us with whatever was needed. We will definitely visit with them again in the future!

Great place, I was in town for work and the office space was perfect, even for impromptu zoom calls. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub, the central location, and the responsiveness of the hosts. I will definitely be looking to rebook.

Perfect location, no more than 15 minutes from all the local attractions. House was beautiful and had a ton of space. Everything was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the coffee shop next door, Witches Brew Coffee.

Just go. It was great. Exactly as described. Teenagers used the pool and hot tub. We used our Netflix. Def would stay again.♥️

This was a beautiful, modern cabin with great decks, fireplaces, hot tub and plenty of in-home activities for families. The hosts, John and Vicki, were very responsive and helpful. This property goes above and beyond with special touches to make you feel welcome and special. We would certainly staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay here - pool and hot tub were great. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels. Debra was very responsive to any question I had of her, and check in/check out instructions were clear. The house rules and info were well organized and complete. Would recommend!

This is such a great place for families who have kids and for adults, on their own. The view is spectacular! There are tons of activities: at the house, in the community and broader area. I especially appreciated the hot tub after the 17-mile bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus. The kitchen is well supplied and will satisfy most home chefs. It is amazingly clean, especially considering pets are permitted. We look forward to future stays!

We recently stayed at this cozy private retreat, and it was the perfect family getaway. Tucked away from the chaos of everyday life, it offered the peace and privacy we didn’t even realize we needed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Great location and a great home base for a bourbon trail tour. Only issue was not getting sent a code to unlock the house, but this was quickly rectified so it was only a brief hiccup during a great stay.

We had an spectacular stay at this place. We really loved this Cabin specially the beddings, so comfortable and so feeling fresh it felt like we are sleeping in the luxury hotel. The hot tub with a beautiful view was the perfect touch. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Our host Andrew was super nice, he always responsive when we have questions and always there when we need him. He always messaged us if we need assistance. We will definitely coming back here on our future vacations or weekend getaway. THANK YOU SO MUCH ANDREW! We really had a great time in this picturesque place! 😍

Perfect stay! The Villa was even better than described and pictured. Very clean and everything my family needed for our stay was provided for us. The area was peaceful and quiet with lots to do within minutes. 10/10, would stay again!

The pictures absolutely speak for themselves and somehow better in person. Privacy is first rate. Clean, clean and clean. Cool, cool, and cool.. The amenities here, are beyond normal expectation, for anyone. There is only one problem …The local awesome tourist sites . This place can make it more difficult to thoroughly enjoy them. Every hour I didn’t spend here, when I had the possibility to do, goes into the easily regrettable category. I definitely plan on booking again, with it being the one and only destination, as it should be..

Loved our overnight stay at this cabin! Everything was very clean. It had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was great. The rocks and slide were fun to explore. Highly reccomend if you are needing a peaceful getaway!

We came on a bourbon quest (it was successful)and an end of the school year teacher retreat. The cabin was perfect for our plans. Cabin matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Very responsive hosts with very clear detailed instructions. We loved playing records and the back sitting area was so peaceful. Cabin is equipped with all the things to cook. Coffee setup was great! Due to a massive amount of rain we did not get to walk the trail but it looked awesome. Getting to the loft was no problem and the bed was so comfortable. Highly recommend!

Our time at The Nest was more than expected, very tranquil and thoughtfully designed! It is perfectly located to provide privacy, while also easy access to hiking spots and restaurants and coffee shops. If you are looking for an escape to relax and rejuvenate, this is your spot!

The Nature Spa was great. The pool, hot tub and game room were huge hits with grandsons. The movie theater pit the icing on the cake. The master suit is awesome. Was very easy to find and has beautiful view of pond while sitting the deck while having coffee. Thank you again.

We had such an amazing and relaxing time here! The place was extremely clean and comfortable, and the private trails were so nice. If you are looking for a place to truly get away and unwind and unplug, we would 100% recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. We already can’t wait to come back!

David’s place was absolutely breathtaking. My daughter got engaged by the pond, so this cabin will forever be a cherished memory. We would definitely return for another stay in the future.

Lindsay's place was incredible. Better than the pictures, and that's saying something. Very private aside from the other house across the lake, but they were not there during our stay. I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb. From the hot tub steps away from the master bedroom, to the many other wonderful amenities, this was a stay I won't forget. Lindsay was also very friendly and communicative throughout our stay. I look forward to returning in the future!

It was the perfect little place to escape to, surrounded by beautiful scenery and the quiet sounds of nature in a cozy setting it was amazing to get away from city life and reset while also having the convenience of still being close to stuff. There's a lot of things to do in the area, and plenty of places to eat; which is definitely worth coming back for. The cabin was very clean, and well put together. Lori was also incredibly kind, and we appreciate the effort she put into our stay.
