Chalet holiday rentals in Ohio River

This was an awesome place if you want to just to get away. Quiet, peaceful location we will be staying here again. We loved it.

We stayed at Brookville for our annual family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Everyone was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed both the tranquility and privacy of the location and the great amenities (including a well-equipped games room). We definitely would stay here again.

Absolutely amazing great host, beautiful view and relaxing environment

Dana was such a great host, so friendly ,helpful and responsive. I loved every minute at valentinos resort. Just as described so peaceful and quiet. loved relaxing and just looking at nature and the beautiful scenery. This was my first air bnb rental and I was nervous but dana was so helpful and friendly she put me right at ease and made our stay wonderful. clean and well furnished just as described, loved the country memorabilia and overall feel. if i ever find myself in nashville again I will definitely book again. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Richard and Sara! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our employees were comfortable and well taken care of. Their communication was outstanding—always prompt, clear, and incredibly accommodating. Any questions or needs we had were met with genuine care and attention, making our stay seamless. It's rare to find hosts who truly go the extra mile, but Richard and Sara did just that. We are so grateful for their hospitality and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-managed stay. Thank you both for everything!

Awesome place. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room, lots of things to do. We especially enjoyed seeing all the deer on our rides around the neighborhood. The hosts were extremely helpful answering any of our questions. Having the two kitchens & the extra refrigerators was a great bonus so that we were able to keep our drinks cold without having to use coolers. We also enjoyed the fire pit, the pool table, the shuffleboard, table tennis & the rocking chairs on the porch with the view of the lake. We were able to dock our boat & fish from the pier. I would definitely recommend this vacation sitting to anyone.

We were in town for our son’s wedding in Newport and needed a home base for family. The place was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Because of the busyness of the weekend we didn’t get to spend too much time relaxing but it was easy to see what a peaceful, relaxing getaway it could be. Everyone made time to check out the treehouse which was fun. We will absolutely rent again next time we come to town to visit the newlyweds.

Collin was a great host, and he was super responsive to our communication. We had a large group of 14 and we felt right at home. The house has everything you need, and if not, its easy to find and easy to communicate with Collins. Great place if you have a good size group and want a place to hang out together, but also a private space to chill by yourself.

clean and in driving distance of lots of things to do

Jill was very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve with. There were 2 refrigerators and freezers giving us room for drinks and food. The house was versatile, homey yet elegant and unique. It was secluded and offered several outdoor settings for entertainment i.e. boat dock with ladder and kayaks, fire pit, a deck on 3 levels, and a carport that also allowed for being outside even if it was raining. We loved it!

The home is beautiful and well-appointed with fabulous views. It was peaceful and tranquil. Our only disappointment was that the house was not clean. It had not been vacuumed, the base of one door to the porch was covered in ladybugs that we had to step over until we swept them, and the bathrooms were not clean either. I would highly recommend the place, despite its not being clean. The location is nice, being close enough to Mt. Vernon that you can reach restaurants and the art museum within 10-15 minutes. But you can also stay put and enjoy the lake, the views, and the well-appointed home.

Second time I’ve stayed here with my bass fishing group and we love it.

Great location and very peaceful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The pond is stocked. The keys would not work on any of the doors so a staff member came out and helped us get in. I would recommended sealing the deck since there are a lot of paint chips. We noticed there was a lot of dog hair under the sofas(we didn't have a dog).

We decided to stay at the lake house for our daughters Spring Break. Unfortunately it was bad timing due to all the ongoing storms throughout the week. Luckily this house has plenty of games and lots to do Inside. We enjoyed our time and look forward to returning again very soon.

This place was fabulous. Our sons loved fishing in the pond. We were in town for the Cincinnati Spartan Race (40 minutes away at Perfect North slopes). Plenty of room. Nice extras provided by the hosts. Clean and very well stocked. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Grocery store (Kroger) about 15 minutes away. Fairly close to the interstate too.
