Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Ohakune

We had a great stay at Richard's place. It was very easy to find and just across the road from the shuttle for the Alpine Crossing. The house is immaculate and just like the pictures. it warms up very quickly and there is lots of firewood. The kitchen was really nice, lots of cookware. The beds were really comfy too. The hot tub spa was wonderful after a long wet walk!Richard went the extra mile helping us retrieve a forgotten item. Just sorry we couldn't stay longer!

This was a lovely place to stay and I'd definitely consider coming back another time. Very detailed instructions were left for almost everything you could want to know. The sauna and spa pool could fit all 6 of us pretty comfortably. The bedrooms could be a bit hot at times, but all windows had a mesh screen on them so you could open them without worrying about bugs getting in. The location was quite private as this yurt had only one neighbour. The only downsides were that the spa pool had a bit of a smell—I'm not sure if it needed more chlorine, but there were no instructions on how to do that. Overall, a very nice place to spend a few nights at and I wish I could be back there now

Lovely accomodation in a great location that was easy walking distance into town. We loved the hot tub and being able to light the fire to keep cosy. Super comfy bed and just everything we needed for our stay.

Raylee’s home was truly exceptional. It was peaceful, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. The views of Mt Ruapehu were stunning, especially from the hot tub, and every detail in the home reflected care and comfort. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, the beds were luxuriously comfortable, and the space was spotless, warm, and welcoming. We loved the blend of modern convenience with nature’s beauty and the easy access to trails, town, and the mountain. Raylee was an outstanding host who was responsive, kind, and full of local insight. This was more than just accommodation. It was a deeply nourishing and restful experience. Every moment felt spacious and grounding and we left feeling so grateful. We would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely five stars in every way. Thank you Raylee for your aroha and generosity. Your place is a true gem.

The accommodation was amazing for a large group. House has an awesome lay out, super spacious living area and kitchen, comfy beds, and warm and toastie. Bridget’s communication was great at all times, highly recommend to stay here!

This is a great modern home with all the facilities for a summer or winter break. We really liked upstairs living space, that caught the sun and gave great views up to the mountain. There is easy walking distance to both town centre and Junction. Definitly a step-up from the old ski baches!

MOST AMAZING CABIN!! Can't possibly say enough about how fantastic the hosts and property are. We would have been happy spending our entire vacation here. So close to the parks and "Mount Doom" and other LOTR locations -- the entire back side of the cabin is a view of "Mt Doom" and there's a LOTR Risk game!! Pool table was so fun to use. Bed was super comfy. Used the washer/dryer (laundry detergent, no dryer sheets) and dishwasher, bathrooms (remember to bring your own toiletries), kitchen -- all very well stocked with cooking utensils and basics (salt pepper oil - I think there was sugar/flour too?). There's plunger coffee maker. Appreciated the OJ and crumpets and scrumptious home made raspberry preserves. Hot tub on the back deck fantastic too. Deb and Dave so friendly and flexible with our schedule. You won't believe how private and secluded the cabin feels - perched up on top of the hill. We really hope to stay here again one day - LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! BEST HOSTS!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Was very pleased to find a fridge and freezer as we weren’t sure if there would be one. Lovely clean area and comfortable bedding. Looks small but is spacious and homely. Amazing outdoor bath which was perfect for the cold weather we had. Awesome communication from James. Thanks so much. Looking forward to booking again in the near future 😌

Comfortable and cosy. Lovely spa pool and fire with firewood and kindling ready to go. Only complaint was the dim lighting in the living area which made reading and board games hard to see. Other than that, we loved it and would recommend to others.
