Beach house holiday rentals in Ogunquit

The house was bright, spacious, and in the perfect location. You could tell that George and Amanda truly care about curating a beautiful beach house and a great experience for guests.

We had a wonderful stay at 'Simple and Happy'. It was extremely clean and comfortable. There was nothing that we needed, everything was thought of and provided for. The decorations and ambiance was spectacular! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck overlooking the marsh and watching the birds. Stephanie was an excellent host!

Alyssa's house is amazing. We did a girls weekend to run the Maine Coast Half marathon. Our cheer team could walk right to the course (behind the house!) and we were super close (less than 5 mins) to the lot for shuttles to the start. Pristine home with a lovely set up. We could have easily fit more people there and actually hope to book this again in more summer time to enjoy the nearby beach!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

We had a great stay at Julie’s beautiful home. Her home was even nicer than the pictures. Great kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Open layout so we can all converse no matter what we were doing. Beds were comfortable. But the outside stole the show. The upper deck was spacious and had great views. The hot tub was just what we needed. Then you walk down to the dock and there is enough space for everyone to lay out. Lots of kayaks and paddle boat. Had fun exploring and fishing the lake. Perfect home for families to come together and catch up!! Oh, and the lower level was perfect with ping pong, foosball and tv for late night fun!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the lake region of NH.

We spent the weekend here catching up with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with beautiful views all around. We’re so thankful we got to stay and make the most of it. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s just a quick drive to Portsmouth, NH, which has so many great places to explore. Rachel also shared some fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better.

Heather’s place was by far the most well maintained and clean Airbnb our family has ever stayed in. She was responsive and kind with all our needs. The pool was conveniently located right across the road and a beautiful place to spend the warmer day. Walking to the OOB trolly, seafood restaurants and the best ice cream place we’ve visited yet. We look forward to making Heather’s place and a trip to the Maine coast an annual family vacation.

Accomodations exactly as shown in pictures. Kitchen is definitely well equipped with all of the essentials and more. Ice cream shop right next door is great and The Lobster Pound on the other side is excellent. You can walk to shops and restaurants downtown but we had no problem finding parking in the evening so we could enjoy the awesome restaurants.

Jason's place was great. My wife and I have three young children, and were traveling with my parents and brother. The house still felt big, and we all felt right at home. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom are very large, and the house was clean and had very little stuff at little kid eye level, which we appreciated. The main living area has a large open space where we could play cards and our baby could crawl around, and the streets outside were rather quiet outside. Overall, would stay again and totally recommend!

Very nice place, everything was clean and smelling good, we felt right at home! Comfortable beds except the single one which we could feel the springs. Expensive parking everywhere near the beach, be advised, but free parking at the house. Everyone at the place was friendly. The only thing mmissing would be coffee pods, for the rest, everything was there!

Jason was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Although we encountered a few minor issues during our stay, he responded immediately and went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly. The space itself was absolutely beautiful and made for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to return in the future!

Susan was a truly wonderful host, so gracious, thoughtful and kind. Her home was perfect for my husband and 2 young boys. House was immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, the 2nd floor rooms had plenty of space and my boys loved the bed nooks on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the porch chairs at night. Beautiful beach was nearby, and Susan had all the beach items ready for us to enjoy. Lots of excellent dining options within a 5-10min drive and close to Ogunquit downtown. Susan left a book of local recommendations which included all the menus from local restaurants which we found helpful in deciding where to dine. Susan shared excellent recommendations on beaches and local activities and knows the area well. Location was perfect. We would love to come back, thank you so much Susan!

I really enjoyed staying at Ryan’s place which was very cozy and felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed the location and the community his home was part of. Ryan was extremely helpful and understanding. On the last day of our trip, we had flat tyre unfortunately. Ryan was kind enough to allow me to use his home after we checked out. That explains how considerate he is towards his guests. I will definitely come back again and stay for a longer period of time:) Thanks Ryan!!

Jordanna’s place was beautiful and cozy! Perfect for a small family or girls trip up to 3 people. Place was spotless, lots to do in the area and will close proximity to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Would go back anytime!

I cannot say enough positive things about this home or Danielle. The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. Right down to the smallest thoughtful touches (folded/rolled towels, makeup wipes, teas, treats, and coffee) you can tell Danielle cares about the customer experience. Not only that but she was so kind and responsive when we had various questions. I would rent here again in a heartbeat and you should too!

Jennifer's place was the perfect spot for our group of 6. We also had my two kids (age 2 & 4) in tow and the house felt safe for them. The place was perfect walking distance from the beach and the cute little downtown area. There is a market nearby that gave us whatever we were missing. We were also perfect driving distance to many great restaurants. We enjoyed the Fisherman's Catch in Wells. The only downside was the sump pump. While it didn't bother me, my father was in the master and didn't sleep our last night. We got a lot of rain and it was going off the loudest in the master every 2-4 minutes. Outside of the sump pump, we have no complaints and would gladly stay here again. Hopefully with no rain this time.

Would definitely stay again. Stephen was a great host and was responsive to all our needs, even including a thoughtful welcoming package. The house was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers for our big group. Just FYI if you plan on cooking, bring your own spices. The house is a walk away to Perkins Cove but was still an oasis in the woods for tranquil sleep.

Spent the long weekend w/ husband, 2 adult daughters & our 5 yr old grandson. House is adorable and loaded with charm everywhere (loved the window treatments/light fixtures). Beds were all comfortable with clean quality linens. We cooked every morning and the kitchen had everything we needed along with a lot of extras that would have come in handy had we cooked more meals there. Bathrooms were in pristine condition & extremely clean (a beautiful walk-in shower in one and a shower/tub in the other which was perfect for my grandson) and both had little extras in case you left something behind. Jodie definitely paid attention to the details. The house has neighbors but still felt secluded. It was close restaurants, the beach, and to downtown - Perfect! The weather wasn't ideal, but we still had a great time. The last day the sun was out and we had our coffee in the screened in porch and watched as a hummingbird fluttered around the beautiful landscaping. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This is just what you want to find in a Maine cottage. It fits into the peaceful surroundings and has a nice view of the water from the kitchen, dining, and porch areas, but is still really close to Ogunquit. It has a cozy feel if it's just a couple, but with a spacious dining area and living room there is plenty of room to gather. The management (Salt & Shine) is great to work with. They were very responsive and helpful before, during, and even after the booking (when something was left behind). I would highly recommend this booking.

Cory was amazing to work with. The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. Walking distance to town. Beautiful outdoor space to hang out or to dine. I would absolutely rent this house again. It was the perfect space for a girls weekend with 6 of us.

We loved our stay here. It was beautiful, you could walk to the beach or just about anywhere. It was comfy and homey. Perfect if you want to cook in or go out! Jamie was super responsive and accommodating. The place was clean. We will for sure be back!

Thrilled with our spur of the moment Ogunquit trip! The place is close to the heart of Ogunquit with so many restaurant and shopping choices just a few minutes walk away. We felt very close to all the fun but still tucked away in a private setting. Becky was lightning quick with her responses, too! Already thinking about a return visit next summer!
