Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ocoee River

We had a fantastic time here! Beautiful views, quiet, and comfy. This was a perfect place to spend our anniversary, and we will most likely return in the future!

We loved This house! It was the perfect spot on the lake, and the covered boat dock was great! It even had a swing to sit and relax in while the kids enjoyed kayaking and trying to paddle board which gave us lots of laughs 😊 The host supplied the home with so many complimentary items if you forget anything no worries she has it available for you, such a nice change from most of the homes we rent while on vacation! The driveway is perfect especially if pulling a boat or even if you want to take daily walks as I did. The beds are always a big deal for us as we want clean and comfortable and this house had both, they was so comfortable and clean and fresh!! You can truly tell that the host cares about her renters and making their stay amazing!! I could go on and on about this home but unfortunately there is not enough room for me to type all that i need to ..lol...Thank you again Debbie for allowing us to stay in your home, as we truly loved your place and had a wonderful time!

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

Beautiful spot! We didn’t want to leave! It was a wonderful few days relaxing and enjoying nature.

This place was beautiful. We loved having fires and the fenced in back yard.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

Loved our stay! This is a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy. Richard provided a detailed list of local sites to see and restaurants. We highly recommend staying here and visiting Tellico Plains.

Jeff and Lori were very gracious hosts you could not have asked for better. The rental was excellent and very secure and felt like home. It sets at the back of the property so you don’t have to worry about noise and just very peaceful. It was absolutely one of the two most peaceful places I have ever been to. I wasn't ready to leave, and I will go back just as soon as possible. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed and Gary & Sheryl were awesome!!! If you want a quiet get away, I highly recommend "On the River"!!!

It's a clean place with nice view and lots of options to enjoy the lake from the property. We really enjoyed our stay there.

10/10 recommend!!! We LOVED our stay here! Laurie was super sweet and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. They offered us their kayaks and the grill. They had waters, creamer, muffins, and coffee in the room. Could not ask for a better airbnb!

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

My wife and I felt at home the moment we walked in. Comfortable, cozy and the location is amazing. The ability to walk throughout town and appreciate the local surroundings is wonderful. Thank you to Cynthia and Rose for hosting us.

This is a wonderful place to stay - and our third time at this location. Clean, close to SAU, comfortable with very amenities, nicely decorated, and great communication from Nina. Highly recommend!

Pamela’s BNB was by far one of the best we’ve stayed at! It was so quaint, charming, homey, clean, and well provided with amenities! Only 15 minutes from our main destination! And close to lots of shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend Pamela’s BNB to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

Just as advertised - view was great, hot tub was turned on when we arrived, home felt like you were off the grid but also not too far from to Blue Ridge. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

We loved our stay! We were here for a wedding close by, and this was so much closer than the alternative hotels. More importantly, Cyndi stocked the place with everything we could have needed. We especially loved the goats and Sampson the dog. Our stay here made our trip relaxed and enjoyable.

I had a great time here! Only stayed one night, but the place was great. Super close to the white water rafting guided tours. The only thing I would add to the place is some more curtains that can be hung on windows facing the road for the evening time.

GORGEOUS views! The house is not far from the main highway, and was perfect for my trip.

We had a great stay at the cabin. The porch and hot tub were our favorite, but the master bedroom and bathroom were nice as well. It was just the quiet weekend we needed.

I wish I could keep this place a secret because of how incredibly beautiful and secluded it is. You feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale, and Hal’s unique touches make the place inviting and special all at the same time. Our trip was filled with rainy weather, but there’s something magical about sitting by the tabletop fire pit on the screened in porch while watching the rain and the river flow by. This is the first airbnb I’ve ever stayed where I knew I wanted to come back.
