The boys and I along with our two energetic dogs had a wonderful glamping stay. The tent was perfect and the set up was excellent, it was warm and cosy and had the best sunrise views. The dogs were even catered for with bowls out side the tent. This is a magical spot with access to some of the best beaches and close to mangawhai for supplies. My oldest loved the surfing lessons and has now caught the bug thanks to Che’s awesome team. It was wonderful stay, we disconnected, and reconnected to each other truly wonderful. The bathrooms and kitchen all clean and lovely. We will definitely be back, thanks for having us!

Loved the place. It had everything we needed, the tent was big enough for the four of us. Nice grounds and awesome scenery. Hired boards and had surf lessons, which was super easy and only 10 minutes down to a number of beaches.

Had a dreamy glamping experience! Serene nature sounds and views, spacious teepee and access to functional kitchen and bathrooms (shower water pressure was amazing) it was hard to believe we were camping. Will definitely be back!

I'm so in love with this island! It is a perfect place to spend a special occasion with your love one. The staff are very accomodating and welcoming to the guests. They consistently check the guests if they need anything and even offer some extra help when needed. The food are great though a bit pricey and options are limited but justiable given the place is isolated.( Btw, don't bring anything that would invite ants on your tent coz ants are everywhere since it their natural habitat.) The accomodation was very comfortable and what i love the most is the toilet and shower room. First of i was not expecting for a common CR but i was assigned of my own toilet and shower room even though we were only 2 compared to a larger group of guests that was with us. Overall all the this place and their staff are very commendable. Eyeing to go back here next month with my family this time. Also if our budget would permit, maybe the venue for our wedding! 🥰

really good place. we were a big group and Joji and team made sure our stay was comfortable. the staff onsite is super and fantastic. they were always available and really supported us very well. the beach was good, very kid friendly. sunsets were amazing. playing in the sand was a bliss. had a quick trip for snorkeling, although it wasn't that great. it was really hot inside the tent and the electric fans were too small to create an impact. at night, we slept under open sky, there is plenty of cool breeze at night and we had a great experience. Joji allowed us to use the beach house which was of great help. water flow is very low but we could manage overall. highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic spot the glamping tent is well put together with great amenities a short stroll away. We were there during a pretty wild rain storm and the tent remained dry and cozy throughout. Would stay again

This glamping experience was everything we wanted and more. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and helpful. The stay was comfortable, clean, and included amazing breakfasts! Would definitely recommend to those looking for a comfortable outdoor stay while visiting the National Park.

I had an amazing stay at Nina’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to Matakana nearby attractions, restaurants, or conveniences, yet quiet and relaxing. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Staying with Karen and Darrly was truly an absolute highlight of our Australia trip. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was shown to us despite late arrival. Darrly even turned on a fire for us. It was so nice and we could see so many stars and cook on the fire. The tent is absolutely new and super clean and cozy. We lacked nothing we were missing (there was even insect spray). We felt very comfortable from the first moment and actually didn't want to leave. You sleep in the rainforest without being on a crowded campsite, because there is only one tent, so you really have a lot of privacy. The photos all correspond to reality, it's not far to the waterfall or other water pumps. With a little luck (depending on the season) you can also try some fruits from the farm. Long story short: highly recommended. Do it! Thank you for your hospitality and warmth! See you soon

Amber's home was so beautiful and comfortable. It was definitely a unique experience for us and something for the books. it was really good value for money and we had everything we needed ! Amber even made the effort to get little amenities that definitely helped and made the whole experience even better. Definitely try it out and you won't regret it !

This is the second time I’ve been to the tipi and it is more than comfortable and very cosy. Love the outdoor shower and toilet.. great for a weekend experience and close to beaches and restaurants. We would recommend anyone to stay here .

Chris and Deb were the most welcoming and helpful hosts I’ve ever had. Their hospitality is unbeatable and super friendly. The Airbnb itself is a hidden gem. The setup and layout is perfect (we had an outdoor bath under the stars), and got to cozy up inside the tent, and then woke up to stunning views. It was one of the best experiences, and I would highly recommend it to anyone else. I would love to stay all over again. You can also see all the effort and love that has been put into building this Airbnb. It really gives it so much more charm. The feeling while being there was so peaceful, content, and warm. Also a massive thank you to Chris and Deb for being so flexible and friendly. We truly had the best time

Very very accommodating staff, peaceful environment, relaxing perfect for solo, couple or even family trip. Worth visiting! The view is very nice specially during sunset

This place was absolutely awesome! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and immersed in nature. The well-planned design of the property truly enhanced the experience, making it both beautiful and functional. Special shout-out to Sir Jun, who was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. He even went above and beyond by taking a video of us with his drone – what a techy and thoughtful guy! We originally planned booking during summer, but the fact that we came a bit later didn't diminish our enjoyment in the slightest. In fact, our dogs absolutely loved splashing around in the river, which was a highlight for them (and for us watching!). We also had some incredibly good sleep thanks to the cozy atmosphere created by the rainy and cold weather – it was so peaceful and restful. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend this gem of a place, and a big thanks again to Sir Jun for his exceptional hospitaly. 💙💙💙
