Wonderful stay! Very unique space with tons to do and excellent service.

Paolyn’s Houseboat was, by far, the most unique and beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. A ‘must stay’ if visiting Coron. The staff were so lovely and helpful, everyone went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay really special. The photos truly don’t do it justice, stunning part of the world and a place we feel really lucky to have enjoyed - can’t wait to come back again one day!

We had the best treatment from all staff at Paolyn, everyone makes sure that we get super treatment and ensure that we have an amazing stay. Thank you to Vanessa who made our stay exceptionally soecial by giving us an upgrade to the best room that we have ever stayed in!! Two amazing rooms from Sunset Villa!! And it doesn’t stop there, we were given complimentary wine from the owner !! Thank You for this wonderful gesture! You have made our stay very special and memorable and for the efforts your staff has made …. They ALL deserve praise and acknowledgement. You are doing a great job and making all your guest have an amazing stay!!

We - my 20 year old son & I - were two on Borneorundreise & made a stop in Mabul for some diving. Our choice for the property fell on the Mabul Paradies Lodge. Very authentic. Great host David (The Boss) with extremely friendly & helpful staff. All dives were perfectly organized & the diving instructor Eddie & his Dive Master Nelson were great. The typical Asian food was top & could be greatly upgraded by buying freshly caught seafood & fishing. The seafood & fish were prepared extremely deliciously by the in-house kitchen at the desired time. Sometimes David himself is in the kitchen. During our stay he prepared crabs and giant shrimp as well as a Chinese soup & invited us to eat with it. All by family recipe; delicious!!! We will be happy to come back. Our expectations were more than met. We felt very comfortable with David & his team.

What can I say about this place to do it justice. It simply is heaven on earth. The surroundings are beautiful and what Paolo has achieved here is insane. Every aspect of your stay has been well thought out. The staff are the happiest, most attentive people out there. To understand the beauty of this stay you have to book. Paolo supports 230 Members of a local tribe who perform multiple tasks to service the houseboats. It is a unique and amazing project which you can learn about. The access this accommodation provides to the beautiful snorkelling spots is unbelievable. It is clean and the food is truly 5 stars. I know by posting this positive review will only make it harder for us to revisit as it will become more popular, but the work that has gone into this amazing and it deserves all of the praise. A truly unique and enjoyable stay. Thanks for everything!

A very unique experience in a beautiful location. What Paolo and Lyn are doing for the Tagbanwa tribe is impressive. The staff really care and the service is amazing. Although it’s slightly more expensive than other similar resorts, it’s worth the experience and you’re giving back to the community.

Paolo’s houseboat was great. Spent two days, wish we booked for longer. Paolo’s stuff is the friendliest group of people: waitress, cleaning, island hopping tour capitan… everyone is so nice and friendly. The restaurant is offering Italian and Philippine specialties at the highest quality. Food can be served at the restaurant or as room service in the houseboat dining area. Paolo’s place is surrounded by beautiful blue water and limestone. Highly recommended for someone who appreciate the beauty of nature

Paolyn Houseboat was one of the best and most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. We had the best time! Couldn't have asked for more. Definitely a piece of paradise. Getting to meet and interact with the people from the local tribe was very cool. A special shout out to Wilson and Jom. We had 2 boat excursions with them and they were just brilliant and so much fun. Food is great too! Highly recommended

I can’t even remember how many times we’ve booked in Aquascape already. It’s really the best place if you want a slow and quiet getaway that’s really close to nature. The unobstructed view of the lake right at your doorstep is definitely worth the travel. They are pet-friendly too. My dogs loved walking on the grass the most and smelling the fresh breeze from the lake. It’s a plus that they have their own swimming pool. Clean rooms with hot water shower. Peaceful at night. Would definitely come back.

We had the most wonderful little get away at this special place. Our time was spent lying on the deck chairs drinking champagne and watching people pass by, rowing over to the restaurant for dinner, soaking in the outdoor bath and kayaking. Bed was super comfy, shower was lovely and hot. Nothing I would change. We hope to be back in the future!

I have been on the Murray River twice before on Houseboat Holidays but this is the first time I haven't been anywhere on the Houseboat. The location couldn't be any more perfect. Enormouse gums, birdlife and total, absolute silence the whole time. Even though it was a long weekend there was noone within cooee! Apart from one houseboat quietly passing one morning, the only other traffic on the river were pelicans. No speed boats, no jet skis. An absolutely stunning place to stay. We will definitely be back.

What a great experience to stay at Karl & Maureen’s house boat. We participated in the Ironman 70.3 event so this location was really convenient for our needs, yet still way from the crazy crowds so we could relax. The house boat was comfortable and had everything we needed. Major bonus to be able to swim off the back of the boat.

There isn’t another place to stay quite like this anywhere! Be prepared to stay in a small space and not to bring lots of luggage. The boat is charming and comfortable. A beautiful lagoon location to eat meals, read a book on the hammock or swim off the side. Daniel is a warm host with excellent suggestions on activities. I highly recommend this unique and beautiful spot.

Great experience with our 2 young girls. Situated in the middle of a bay, with a breathtaking view, it's really something to experience. Thanks Daniel for your advice and hospitality

We had a great family getaway. Very relaxing with beautiful Views. The houseboat has everything you need and more. We will definitely be booking again.

It was all amazing…we loved it. Weather was bad, but that’s not Ken’s fault. Love that the tavern and grocery stores are right outside!
