Charles and Sally welcomed us to the property in person and with lovely added touches of homemade treats, fruit bowl and museli so we could settle strsight in with a cuppa and enjoy the birds and serenity. The property is absolutely stunning especially in Autumn with the array of colours. It far exceeded our expectations. Inside we enjoyed the log fire, board games, books and well equipped kitchen to make a dinner to make the most of the location. Followed by a lovely bath listening to the frogs. We spent hours walking around enjoying the property and didn't want to leave.

Fantastic place for a few days away. Amazing natural light and access to the hiking trails - literally on your doorstep. Comfortable living area and private. Mark was very communicative with clear instructions.

Coming from a busy town, my partner and I wanted a getaway from all the noise and just the busy lifestyle that we have and the chalet was the perfect place for us to stay at and recharge mentally before getting back to reality. The privacy that you get as well as the surrounding of the beautiful nature was a bonus for us too. Definitely would recommend to those that need this kind of getaway or just a peaceful getaway in general. If you get the chance to meet the hosts, Charles and Nikki, they’re very welcoming and lovely people too!

We loved our stay at Tanjil Creek Lodge. It was the perfect spot to stay on the mountain for a group of 12 of us. We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Staying at this Queenstown Airbnb was an absolute dream! The host's thoughtfulness shone through in every detail. Handwritten notes greeted me, leading me through the cozy space and its delightful surprises. I was amazed to find the house stocked with everything I could need: birthday candles for spontaneous celebrations, umbrellas for rainy days, reusable shopping bags, soft slippers, notepads, and even disposable zip - lock bags. It truly felt like the host had thought of everything! The views were the cherry on top. Waking up to stunning sunrises, watching the sky light up with vibrant sunsets, and even spotting a rainbow from the window— it was pure magic. This place wasn't just a place to stay; it was a haven that perfectly combined comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. We had an amazing week enjoying the magnificent views from this beautiful house. The house was very well appointed with every item you could need in the kitchen and two sumptuous bathtubs to soak in after hiking or biking the surrounding mountains. There’s so much room in the house which is great when you’re there with your in-laws! Having access to the resorts facilities also made this house worth the price - we enjoyed archery, swimming and sauna but there was so much more we could’ve done. Oh and the beds were super comfortable!! Would most definitely stay there again!!

We had the most wonderful mums’ weekend away here—truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered, with clever use of space and comfort in every corner. The fireplace made it incredibly cozy, the bedrooms felt so luxe, and the hot tub was absolutely divine! The separate studio was the perfect setting for a mobile masseuse to work her magic on our tired bodies. The hosts were warm, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. We’re already making plans to rebook—highly recommend this beautiful home. Thank you again for having us!

Highly recommend Tracey’s beautiful Airbnb. The most gorgeous space with pitched ceilings, gorgeous surrounds and a cosy feel. We loved the walking distance to town, and loved a night in on the couch!

What a Stay!!! First of all the view is something you’d find in a painting, the location is peaceful and the home is warm and cozy with a beautiful fire. Special thanks to the host Susan and Geoff for providing a perfect stay with some home made delightful bread and for helping us with no hesitation with our car troubles and late check in. we had a lovely stay, the chalet remained cool on hot days and we enjoyed watching out onto the lake and all the birds. just a short drive to Pemberton centre with lots of food options, the tram and we enjoyed a walk around big brook dam. We had everything we needed

Easy flexible check-in, and beautiful view of lake Taupo. Loved all the windows letting all the natural light in.

This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in on our annual derby trip. Good bike storage, wash down area and plenty of space.

Had such a lovely weekend away at Gordon’s chalet!! The pictures didn’t do justice for how beautiful the place is, and the house was a great size and had everything you need. We were also super lucky to have a sprinkling of snow on our last day which topped it off. Overall such a great place and I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!!

Lovely cosy cabin in a truly beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect place to switch off and enjoy some quiet. Cabin had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful and responsive.
