De Lux

GerardoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An accommodation that is worth what you pay. Although the area is not very close to the center, it offers speed on the main avenues. It's not difficult to get there and the house is in a safe area. It has extra amenities that sometimes make you want to stay in the house, excellent accommodation.

The Inheritance.

DouglasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a bit of trouble at the start: we were given the wrong code to get in and an a/c unit was not working well. But Lili was very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of (even getting an a/c person out on a Sunday morning and overseeing the repairs). Otherwise, our stay was great. The house is much nicer, and bigger than the photos indicate. There are large areas (upstairs landing/office, courtyard) that we were not expecting, plus an extra half bath downstairs. The location was nice: walking distance to nearly everything we did in town, but a block or two out of the way from the heavily walked tourist and commercial areas. It was hot the week we were in Oaxaca, but the house stayed cool with the fans and the bedrooms (with a/cs) were a welcome refuge during the hottest part of each day. The two rooftop patios were beautiful spaces for morning use. Lili also hooked us up with a fantastic personal driver, Ana, for out of town excursions.

Casa Sabu in Colonia Reforma

Elsa MariaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If I could define it with a single word, it would be: "Extraordinary place". Just being in "Casa Sabú" is already being on vacation (my husband said), with double garage, electric door, very comfortable beds, covers, ceiling fan (which is enough for the cool weather of Oax) hot water in all the showers (we were 7 people and we never missed), even bathrooms well stocked with towels (with delicious aroma) and good quality paper; super equipped kitchen with hot and cold water dispenser (also with water bottles), electric oven, pans, pots(which were useful), glasses, cups, coffee maker, sugar, teas, TV in each room, (the photos do not do justice to this beautiful house). Half a block away there is a small shop where you can buy soft drinks, water, snacks, etc. and if you want to go downtown by car it is 9 min. and 25 min. on foot, there are also restaurants, cafes and a well-stocked market nearby. Thank you very much Lupita for the fruit and for all your attentions.

"Harmony Stay". Country place to rest

CesarRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Excellent place, a very large house ideal for family gatherings, we really enjoyed the smoky kitchen, the pool table, a lot of privacy. What should be taken into account (and is mentioned in the Airbnb description) is that the internet and signal are very limited, just for messages. Great place near Oaxaca, in 30-40 minutes you reach the city center.

Bright & Spacious in San Felipe

JennaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
i really enjoyed staying at Rebecca's. She is a great host. It was my first time traveling out of the country by myself and Rebecca was incredibly helpful in giving me transportation information and contacts, food recommendations (restaurants and groceries), connecting me with local groups who I share similar interests with...etc. She was always willing to help with any guidance I may need and made sure I had all the info for getting to her place and checking on before hand. Her place is a little bit out of town, but for me I enjoyed having some space from the city, and I enjoyed walking downtown during the day. if you walk to Centro it will take you about an hour. I usually would walk down and then taxi or bus back. Taxi is about $100 pesos ($5 US) and super easy to get, and bus is $8 pesos. getting to Centro on the bus is super easy and Rebecca can definitely guide you on how to get back. I would definitely recommend staying with Rebecca💙

BUNGALOWS OASIS APARTMENT #6

EmilyRating, 5 stars41 months ago
This stay was just like the photos! Beautiful views for sunset and you can listen to the ocean waves crash as you fall asleep! The area around is very quite, but it’s also very close by the zicatela, so best of both worlds. Would definitely recommend a stay here!:)

Casa Ohma Room 5 - The Point

Maria DanielaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our stay in Puerto Escondido. The house is just a short walk from the main street—close enough to everything, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Our room was beautiful, the staff were incredibly kind, and housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The amenities are thoughtful and well maintained. I had to work a few days during the trip, and the dedicated office space was a lifesaver—the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable the whole time. You can tell that every detail of the house has been designed with care, from the coworking area to the pool to the communal rooftop kitchen. We’d absolutely love to come back—and next time, stay even longer.

"CASA DEL ESCUINCLE" Oaxaca. King Room (2 people)

CecilRating, 5 stars64 months ago
Our second visit to Oaxaca and stay at Casa del Escuincle lasted 10 amazing days and nights. Our hosts Carmen and her daughter Bertha, along with Rosa, the housekeeper and cook, were always gracious. We especially appreciated their warm and generous contributions to the celebration of our wedding anniversary the morning after our arrival. Throughout our stay, our hosts were extremely responsive to our wants and needs without being overbearing, making us feel like part of their family. Optional upon request, the food provided during our stay was authentically regional, plentiful, and lovingly prepared. This included handmade Oaxacan chocolate, mole and salsa of the house, and sal de gusano de maguey. (Have fun looking it up)! The colonial-era hacienda is horseshoe-shaped, arranged around a lush, well maintained central garden with many plantings in, and out of, pots. Regional artwork adorns the walls. Our large room was furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed, ample closet and cabinet space, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. You will find a few restaurants within walking distance from the hacienda, including the brand new taqueria, La Salsa, small convenience stores, and a quaint Catholic church (currently undergoing reconstruction.). Las Danzetas, in central Oaxaca, and Casa Oaxaca, in the Reforma neighborhood, were among our favorite restaurants. If you want to burn some calories and enjoy spectacular views and sightings of tropical birds, the well-equipped and clean Luis Donaldo Colosio Park is within walking distance. Casa del Escuincle is located less than 3 miles from the Oaxaca town center, a quick 70-peso cab ride away. Casa del Escuincle provided a quiet respite from the hustle, bustle, and fun of the city while providing a great jumping-off point for day trips to local towns and historical sites. We highly recommended a stay at Casa del Escuincle!

Casa Ohma Room 4 - The Point

LauraRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Casa Ohma was wonderful - beautiful accommodations with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The room was clean, comfortable with excellent AC. We loved the small touches - like water and toiletries in the shower (they smelled great). The pool and shared kitchen were extra perks. The design is beautiful and self-check in was super easy. The location is a bit up the hill so be prepared for a short walk but it's totally worth the serene and gorgeous space!

Casa Ohma, Room 7 - La Punta

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I had an amazing stay at this property! The host made everything incredibly easy, from check-in to check-out. The space is even more stunning in person, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful design details throughout. My room was spotless, and the added touches like beach towels and a glass water jug made the experience even better. I used the pool quite often and it was a great spot to relax and meet other guests. Highly recommend. I will definitely stay here again!

Casa Tonatiuh - 3 bedroom villa with views & pool

KateRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The house is beautifully decorated. There's a lovely piano, the pool is solar heated and clean, there are hammocks, and the adobe keeps the home naturally cool and quiet. There are great views of the mountains and the city. There is a little market and a big park nearby. The park has a library for kids and an area with toys. There is also a small hotel next door with a fantastic restaurant called Entre Sombras. The staff at the house is helpful and friendly, but they also respect your space. And Marilee is quick to respond. We all enjoyed our time in this tucked away paradise.

Great villa with spectacular view

PeggyRating, 5 stars64 months ago
We loved the house, the patio, garden, the view, the location, everything. We heartily recommend it. In the course of a 6 week stay, there were a couple of moments when we needed some things repaired and it was done very quickly, cheerfully and competently.
