My stay at New Ruins was absolutely fabulous. If your spirit is called to have this experience here, you are quite lucky. I had great conversations with the other guest and the overall energy was wonderful. Nico is a super cool guy who is full of jokes and has a very likable personality, he is very chill and easy to get a long with. If you are not used to living in harmony with nature then staying here could be an adjustment for you. I was totally in my element and it was more than ideal for time I spent.

This place is pure magic. It’s simple, but in the most meaningful way - the kind of simplicity we’ve been searching for through years of travel. Tucked away on one of the most incredible beaches, it feels like you have the world to yourself. We felt so connected to nature here. Each morning, Alejandro arrived with fresh coconuts from the trees surrounding our hut - a small gesture that captured the essence of this beautiful experience. Alejandro and his family are truly special people, and their warmth made our stay unforgettable. They even gave us some great surf advice that led to some of the best days surfing we ever had! We’ll definitely be back. It’s one of those rare places that words can’t fully capture - you just have to go and see it for yourself.

Incredible place, in a really lovely location. Meant to only stay a few nights, but ended up staying for a week. No internet meant it was easy to disconnect and relax. Kitchen is well equipped and Alejandro was great in buying and delivering our shopping lists everyday so we never had to leave. If you did want to leave though, it was super easy to get a Tuktuk up to town, or walk it in 30 minutes. It’s also the only place on the beach, and 10 minutes walk from the point break so basically the best location you could have. Wholeheartedly recommend!

we loved our stay here, Samuel was very helpful making sure we knew where to eat and what local activities we might enjoy. We did the 2-3 hour return hike up the mountain behind the village as well as the weaving course and both were fantastic The bedrooms were spotless and the communal spaces were in great condition. The only thing I have given 4 stars for is cleanliness, but this would be expected with a farm stay as there are animals living on the property as well. We were all thrilled with the experience but any traveller who is expecting hotel style accommodation may have to change their expectations slightly in order to really enjoy the stay

This little cabin is a great place to spend days of total disconnection with the chaos and stress of the city. It is surrounded by pure nature. It's a great place. In the nearby town (3 minutes away) there is a restaurant for breakfast and lunch. A very good burger site. One super and several shops. If you want to visit all of Etla, including El Casa, this cabañita is ideal. Even without a car you can move easily (if you like to walk). I went from the airport to the cabin in colectivos and everything was very simple. The place is a space that has been built with a lot of love, it feels. The puppy and kitten are very very very beautiful. Don't hesitate to stay here. You'll have a great time. I and my kittens gave us a lot of this place. Thank you !

The house is in a very quiet and cozy place. From below you can see the sea and through the back mountain. The facilities are very comfortable and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, only because I am Oaxacan missing a grinder but it was solved with another utensil. We were able to cook during our stay very comfortably. The hot and cold water system for bathing is super efficient. There is good lighting and ventilation, the beds are super comfortable. Abel and Jorge's kindness was always present. And above all respectful with our privacy. It was a pleasure to be there and we will go again as much as possible.

This place is a such a gem. You are surrounded by cactus and agave and the mountains. The sunrise is absolutely gorgeous and the starry night sky takes your breath away. The bungalow is super well equipped with everything you need. But the best part about this Airbnb is the hosts. Rigoberto and Jorge are the loveliest hosts I’ve met. Super helpful, super personable, and just really kind souls. My Spanish is not great and they were really patient with me. I felt so relaxed and safe, and it’s just what I needed. I’m excited to come back to their place next time I’m in Oaxaca. I truly feel I now have a place I can call home in Mexico.

Camped under the stars at Planta and it was such a relaxing and wonderful experience. It the perfect place to connect with nature, like minded people and be fully immersed in an environment centered on sustainability and environmental conservation. Nayo is an awesome host; very warm and welcoming. He was very helpful with all of my needs like transportation, food and recommendations to local beaches/activities. Definitely will be back!

Rigo and Jorge were the best hosts: friendly, responsible, respectful, proactive, warm, and so very thoughtful. They are just super good people who run an amazing operation. The Airbnb was immaculate and clean, and of course stunning. The surroundings were beautiful, especially the view of the agave farm and the nearby hills. We would stay here again when we come back to Oaxaca, we just wish they had a bigger home to rent, as an Airbnb, so we can bring our kids as well! The dogs were so lovely and friendly, especially Perseo. We absolutely loved staying here. In addition, as soon as we set out to travel, Rigo immediately contacted us to make sure we had a taxi worked out from the airport. This lovely place isn’t near the airport or the city center, but getting to their place actually made for a nice 30 minute ride with Ramiro, a very trusted taxi driver. We have such fond memories of Oaxaca and this Airbnb was a major reason for this.

We had such a great time, Melinda made us feel at home immediately with her warm welcome. The neighbourhood is quite and beautiful. Hope to come back one time!

This was not a typical stay The room was good with comfortable bed. Shared bathroom was a little different but fine. we really liked getting to know Samuel and his extended family. Great opportunity for me to take a private weaving class and my wife to take a mole cooking class. This was the highlight of our 2 week vacation to Oaxaca.

My stay at Casa DaviLinda was simply amazing. The home was beautiful, comfortable and filled with local art and handmade goods. For my first foreign solo trip, I felt safe within the gated property. All my questions were quickly answered and communication was simple and easy. I highly recommend this wonderful spot for your next stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful, outdoor, countryside, real, OAXACA experience, this is the place. Breakfast was amazing, swimming pool was very cold but refreshing when the sun was out and rooms as described. Be aware of many cute dogs and of course this is in the middle of nature so you will bump into insect a lot. Would recommend. Thank you!
