In general, CR was more expensive than I would have guessed, which made Andrea's place an even better value than I hoped for. The unit is in a gated area right on a beautiful beach with a very active reef, and lots of colorful fauna. There's even a nice restaurant 100m away. We stayed much closer to home than we intended for the whole trip. If there was anything that might scare people away, there were several ant species roaming around the unit. It's a jungle, and they have wings, so what can you do? Nobody got bit, and they were individuals, not swarms. I also evicted a land crab that was enjoying the AC. I don't think you're going to find anything without an elevator and a lobby that doesn't have this level of intimacy with the local fauna. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrea's place to anyone.

absolutely loved Glady's place! it is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures! Gladys was extremely responsive and even helped accommodate us with checking in and checking out after we had some difficulties with our flights. We would for sure come back again! A great place to disconnect and relax!!

Sakura House was spectacular. And it’s not just because of the beautiful house, it’s also because of Liss (she makes the best margaritas), the “house mom”, who is attentive to your every need, and Erin, the dedicated concierge, who makes everything easy and seamless. The house is in a gated community with a lot of security. It is comfortable and well equipped. It was wonderful to sit in the backyard in the mornings and listen to the different birds. This place is a bird-watcher’s paradise. We went sailing with Panache -arranged by Erin- and watched a beautiful sunset. The fishing trip was not a good experience. But honestly, that was the only bad thing about a great 8 day trip. I strongly recommend this house and management group.

When we arrived we were greeted by Ander. He did a tour of the house for us and showed all of the amenities. He was very helpful though out our stay. The house is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains and ocean. I highly recommend SUNBEACH PROPERTIES for your next vacation!!! Thank you Ander and Lillian for making us feel at home. Villa Poro Poro is a gem. The architecture is stunning—open, airy, and blends beautifully with the natural surroundings. We loved the high ceilings, wood details, and how the space flows between indoors and out. It felt like a true escape. The beach is just a short walk away, and the whole property has such a peaceful, well-designed vibe. Incredible restaurants and coffee shop nearby. We’d definitely come back.

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
