Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nova Scotia

A great stay with wonderful people - Barbara and Derek are excellent, thoughtful hosts and have a beautiful property. It was perfect to charge our EV onsite, and having a cup of coffee with some homemade goodies in the morning was a special touch! We were in the area as we search for wedding venues in Nova Scotia and it just so happens Barbara is a Justice of the Peace. Her willingness to chat about our plans and the advice she provided was an added bonus and so appreciated.

This place is a Heaven on Earth! It's quiet, secluded, and a short walk/drive to the water. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We got 4 little loaves of bread and 6 farm fresh eggs for our breakfast. Every tiny detail has been looked after. We immediately felt like we'd been there for years. We slid right into the comfort of this home.. We HIGHLY recommend this retreat. On a score of 1-10, we give it a 337!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. there was more than enough room for myself, husband and two young children. my children especially loved playing with the toys and in the backyard. the location was perfect, just about 15 to 20 minutes from several beaches, sightseeing sites and restaurants. everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. the kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. we were even welcomed with milk, cream, eggs, bread, home-made jam and blueberries. everything we would need for breakfast the next morning. it was a very kind and thoughtful touch, and we really appreciated it after a long drive to the island. we would definitely stay here again!

Although the weather was not great during our stay. Paul was super helpful in recommending things to do and visit in the area. Paul is a great host and we hope to visit again.

Amazing stay in an adorable, well furnished and colorful cottage close to the sea. The cottage itself has everything you need, including a wonderful hot tube. The location is just perfect, very quite and close to the sea as of the main touristic attractions. Last but not least, Sean and his husband were fantastic and so friendly - they made our stay even better. We Will definitely come back :)

We had a fantastic stay at Donny’s place! It is extremely comfortable and spacious. Wonderful amounts of light all day. It is so stocked with everything you could need. There is a very lovely walk down to the coast. Donny is a really great host and human being! He is extremely communicative and helpful! It was a delight staying at his place.

Jodi was an amazing host answer all my questions very friendly. The house was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. Wish the weather was a little bit better and we could’ve enjoyed the fire pit and barbecue but it’s OK because we went for a drive and around the local areas beautiful place certainly will be back.

I had a great experience staying at Carolle's place! She was extremely responsive and accommodating when I needed to extend my stay. Even though she wasn't available at first, she worked with me to adjust my reservation and made sure everything went smoothly. The room was comfortable, and Carolle was very thoughtful in ensuring everything was in order. I really appreciated her hospitality, and highly recommend staying here. Thank you again, Carolle!

small studio properly furnished and located at the rear section of a small inn. The place is surprisingly very calm despite the inn front section is on a boulevard. the owners have been highly reactives upon our arrival when we had a specific need and they even gave us a few treats that we appreciated ! Since it is conveniently located in Charlottetown we were able to do à couple different outdoor activities (biking, beach and hiking) on the North side of PEI as well as on the detroit of Northumberland side as well.

Place was great. Smelled fantastic. Exactly as advertised. Jessica is very accommodating. Would stay again if we are in the area.

My husband , my son and our dog enjoyed their stay . The place is in a quiet area. Wendell was very helpful if they needed something. We would certainly recommend this place if one needs to stay in the area.

Michelle's place is truly like the description, very cozy and comfy. We finally had a good homemade meal that night after one week on the road. Not only because Michelle'd kitchen has almost full equipment for family cooking but also sobyes is just around the corner. After the meal, we had really happy night playing the Catpoly. Maybe it's a little hard to park on the driveway because of the size of the driveway. The bed in the living room is a bit noisy because of the location that is near busy road. But I am be grateful for the price Michelle offer. It is a place you can hardly not to choose.

This suite feels like staying in a 5-star hotel! We have stayed at Airbnbs in many parts of the world and this was the best. The space is comfortable and carefully curated to feel warm and welcoming. There are so many additional touches that elevate the experience. We also appreciated the private patio overlooking the lake within walking distance from town. Excellence!

We booked this stay as a special getaway for my parents' 50th anniversary, and they absolutely loved it! The house was quiet, the bed was cozy, and breakfast was a highlight with perfectly crispy bacon, waffles, and fresh fruit. They enjoyed chatting with the other friendly guests, and the host was warm and welcoming, sharing interesting stories about moving from Ontario 10 years ago. Their well-behaved dog added to the charming, homey atmosphere. It was a perfect spot for a memorable celebration!

Their place was excellent, felt like a home away from home. Their dog Dileas was a real charmer. Would stay again!

We enjoyed this beautiful stay in Dingwall. It’s a lovely bnb with a small balcony and a perfect sunset. Not far from some nice hikes and a store. Nice continental breakfast of yogurt and pastry left in the fridge for us. Love the beautiful linens and the beachy theme.

I had such a nice and peaceful stay! This was perfect for a solo traveler (but could easily work for 2 people as well). It’s very close to all the Green Gables spots/activities. The walk down to the river and through the labyrinth was so peaceful. Since you have the whole upper area it feels private. Gorgeous views even better than the pics.

Clean, cute, and cozy loft suite. I know we only stayed for one night, but i wished we had time to stay longer. The host, Sarah, was very welcoming and pleasant and had everthing we needed. After breakfast, she sent us with fresh cinnamon rolls, from her bakery, which we ate on Greenwich Beach.

Izabella is the most wonderful Airbnb host I’ve ever met. Beyond that, she is simply a wonderful person — kind and warm and thoughtful. She made our visit to PEI so extra special with her kindness and personalized recommendations. She was also so accommodating of my baby, providing lots of toys and making him his own special breakfast. Her husband Mitch was also so nice, and their dogs are sweet and delightful. I’m so grateful to have met Izabella and truly hope to return again someday. The property is gorgeous and Victoria by the sea is just 5 min away by car and so cute, with great restaurants and a lighthouse and beautiful views. Such a lovely trip to PEI. Thank you!!!

If you want to feel like royalty, this is the place! Such a beautiful home and meticulously maintainted. The hosts are extremely pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was beyond expectations, and the bonus? Your in the home of a choclatier! Some of the favortie travel favors I purchased on my trip. The home is in a lovely location on the doorstep to downtown and the ferry. Absolutley perfect!
