Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nottinghamshire

This air b&b was such a great getaway, especially as we brought our 2 dogs and were extremely pleased with there being a beautiful walk right across the road, as well as being able to get to Sherwood Forest even without transport. The place itself was so quiet and the movie screen outside was such a lovely touch. The place was clean, the dishwasher made washing up simple, and the beds were comfy (the pillows were a little too big for me, but that’s just preference😂) I would definitely recommend this place as well as re book in the future. Cory was extremely responsive, helpful, very welcoming, and made us feel comfortable knowing if we were to have any problems he would do his absolute best to resolve the issue, luckily we didn’t have any problems and the trip when as perfect as could be!

As a hen party of 12, we had an amazing long weekend at Sally's house. There was safe and ample parking for all the whole group and we were blown away by the surroundings. The views were gorgeous and we had a lovely walk round the nearby fields and public footpaths to a great local pub. The house was spotless, and more stunning than the photos. The house felt like a home whilst also feeling luxurious and everyone loved their rooms and the communal areas. The house had so many thoughtful touches and we especially enjoyed the easy to use hot tub. Massive thank you to Sally for being a great host - responsive, helpful and allowing us early check in to decorate for the bride too. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Lotti and Alins home reflects that it is their much loved home with their personal stamp . We felt comfortable for our overnight stay travelling to Scotland , it was clean and well equipped. The area was quiet despite being in a built up residential area.

Very comfortable place to stay in, very clean place, very spacious, and Jane was a very good host. Would recommend for everyone going to Newark. 10/10 stars!

Really nice stay, clean and tidy with everything we could need. Very responsive and proactive hosts, gave clear instructions. Checking in was very simple, which was good for us after a full day at a festival.

Really comfortable beds, lots of space and perfect home from home vibe! We stayed during Download festival and was bliss to be 40 mins away from the festival and come back to good beds and a lovely kitchen. Really easy to find, really clear instructions to access and make the most of the space, and communicative host

Judy was the co-host and was so friendly and helpful. We felt she went above and beyond to take care of us. She responded quickly to questions and the house worked out perfectly for us. Great accomodations in an ideal location, both peaceful and accessible to many attractions. Thanks Judy for being flexible and supportive and making our stay amazing.

Wonderful setting with horses visible from inside the cabins. The cabins themselves are the best we've stayed in with all the amenities. Not much dealing with the staff but they were incredibly responsive to our arrival and helped us settle quickly. 10/10

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Birdholme, so much so, that I began plotting to return as soon as we had arrived! The lodge is stunning and is set amongst beautiful grounds, which have even thoughtfully been pruned to encourage lots of little walkways through the trees and grounds which was such a special touch. The hot tub was great and Holly had even left us a surprise bottle of bubbles in the fridge! Really can’t fault it and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much Holly for a fabulous little break <3

Lovely peaceful place, with great facilities and everything you need inside the cabin. Lovey place for a night away.

Just returned home from a lovely night away with my two sons age 8 and 15. With the age gap between my boys i find it hard to find things we can all enjoy, most of the time my eldest doesn't want to participate in anything other than going out with his friends and his computer. The Lodge was the perfect place for us all to spend time together, with the hot tub and hammock being the favourite part for both boys. We toasted marshmallows in the fire pit as the sun went down which we all had fun doing. We all had a lovely night away from everything, making memories as a family which is priceless. Thank you to hosts James and Victoria for making our stay so perfect :)

What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!

This place is perfect for bringing your dog—there's a huge grassy area where dogs can run freely, and mine had an amazing time! The room was clean and cozy. The only downside is that there are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby. We originally planned to visit Newark, but there were no buses running on Sunday afternoon, and walking there would take about an hour and a half. It’s definitely more suitable if you’re driving. That said, as far as the accommodation goes, it was very comfortable, well-equipped, and the campsite owner was super friendly. We felt very much at home!
