Holiday rentals with lake access in Nottingham

We had a lovely family break at Caroline’s Lodge. The setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed the access to, otherwise, private land for lovely walks and visiting Staunton Harold courtyard. The lodge itself had everything we needed. It is very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils for 6 people. Many thanks for the welcome cake and bottle of wine in the fridge they were a lovely touch which we appreciated. We have had family breaks like this over the last three years and Caroline’s place is the best so far. We would love to return.

A perfect stay, very clean and well appointed. Great location, backs on to lovely park with a great walk along the river in to Derby. Would certainly stay again. Thoroughly recommend!

This air b&b was such a great getaway, especially as we brought our 2 dogs and were extremely pleased with there being a beautiful walk right across the road, as well as being able to get to Sherwood Forest even without transport. The place itself was so quiet and the movie screen outside was such a lovely touch. The place was clean, the dishwasher made washing up simple, and the beds were comfy (the pillows were a little too big for me, but that’s just preference😂) I would definitely recommend this place as well as re book in the future. Cory was extremely responsive, helpful, very welcoming, and made us feel comfortable knowing if we were to have any problems he would do his absolute best to resolve the issue, luckily we didn’t have any problems and the trip when as perfect as could be!

Good location and good accommodation, had a nice stay

We had a great stay at Kingfisher Cottage whilst visiting family. Matt was very responsive and helpful and provided several local recommendations. The location of the cottage next to the river is perfect for a peaceful drink in the evening and our 4 year old enjoyed paddling and watching the cows. Thank you Monika and Matt for a wonderful stay - we'll be back!

Overall great weekend with family - us, 4 children, wives, partner and 5 grandchildren. Games room was a great success with teenagers and men, probably a bit noisy for the neighbours 😂. Well equipped kitchen but didn’t find instructions for hob and oven until tidying up Sunday night. We’d worked it out between us in the meantime. Could do with a few tips in house manual. Lake and canoe a big hit. Hot tub took over 4 hours to get up to temperature - why wood burning when there is electricity? Beds comfy and all rooms very spacious. Lounge/sunroom fabulous space. We would return if Neil would have us.

Jane's place was a great base for my visiting family / friends in Nottinghamshire. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, very clean and tidy. My children loved the pool and games room. Easy to get to all the main attractions will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great stay!

Adam's place was excellent value for money. The location is within walking distance of the city centre and the area is nice and by the canal. The room was lovely and clean, as well as a comfy bed. It was a nice stay and the property was easy to find with clear check-in instructions. If Ia am in Nottingham again, I would definitely stay here.

Lovely room in a lovely lodge. The room was spacious, the shower was great and the bed was comfortably. I was able to walk to the city centre and train station in around 15 minutes, so it's accessible to get around. Adam is very responsive - I had a problem with the radiator and he got back to me immediately about it and was fine. Check in was easy and clearly explained. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I would come back :)

Adams place is very close to town, the room is spotless and has all you need. It was easy to find and parking my car was easy and safe, right next to the building. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be staying here again

Check in was very straightforward. The room was clean and pleasant, with a good sized en-suite and fridge. In a really nice area right by the castle.

Super stay in a great location. Adam was a great host and gave us all the information we needed for an easy check in. I was visiting warhammer world and it was so easy to walk out the front door, left over the bridge then turn right along the canal for a lovely 15 minute walk straight there. Will definately be staying again.

Had a fantastic weekend here and would thoroughly recommend. the cottage was beautifully appointed and the log fire made it super welcoming and relaxing. Emma has thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Really enjoyed my stay here it was everything I’d hoped for and more… I had time to reconnect with nature and my family and disconnect from my phone. Jane and her family were very accommodating and friendly throughout. Felt completely relaxed throughout and right at home. Highly recommend C Brumpton butchers for cakes, pies, preserves and all round good fare. And Naturscape Wildflower Farm and Tea Rooms - handy stop for a cheerful lunch on the trip home. Will be back!

Needed a couple of days to recharge my batteries - this was the perfect place, quiet, beautuful property and gardens. immaculate and well presented and very spacious. felt instantly at home and a very generous welcome pack was the icing on top. Beautiful area with plenty of walks and local amenities. Rebecca was friendly and proactive in ensuring everything went smoothly. Very clear, helpful and comprehensive property guide along with all the creature comforts you could need for a short or longer break, I would not hesitate in booking again in the future or recommending to family and friends. We stayed at Lakeview for a long weekend getaway. It was the perfect spot to explore the Peak district and the local area. The accommodation was perfect, had plenty of room for 4 people, was clean and well equipped, really private and very quiet. 2 minute walk to a lovely pub is a bonus! Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend!

Brilliant lodge near the marina. Plenty of amenities. We only used it as a base but it had all the home comforts we needed in the evening. There is loads of places to eat at the marina but we didn’t get a chance to try. I’d come back for sure.
