Holiday rentals with lake access in Northumberland County

I stayed at Cristal’s lovely cottage as a birthday trip with 6 friends. What I can say but, WOW. The place is in impeccable condition - clean, renovated and modern. It had everything we could hope for in a cottage including firewood, multiple boat options, indoor and outdoor games, lots of outdoor seating areas and direct access to the water complete with floating dock! The kitchen was fully stocked for all cooking needs and there were a lot of towels available for both inside and outside use which was really helpful. Christa was also great to communicate with, even though little contact was needed because everything was so easy. My friends and I give the place a resounding 10/10 and we would go back in a heartbeat!!

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Renne is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor seating options which was one of our favourite things. It was an amazing place to have a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year!!

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Such a perfect last-minute getaway! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and the place felt like our own private resort. Cozy vibes, beautiful views, and we loved the fireplace which we could adjust right on the wall. The shower was amazing (especially for such a remote spot), and the kitchen had everything we needed for an amazing romantic dinner. We were mindful of the hot water since it's a small cabin and reading other reviews, but it was no issue at all. The hot tub overlooking the water was the cherry on top — totally worth the trip to Prince Edward County!

Was a wonderful, peaceful place to be. Beautiful waterfront views and a well kept home and property. Rishi was extremely responsive to our questions! Very organized and detailed instructions made it really easy to access everything needed for our small vacation!

Great place, private but also close to everything. Lake was beautiful and just around the corner. It was easy to find. Lots of places to walk. I would definitely rent this place again! Nicole was fantastic, very responsive to any inquiries.

Dionna is a super host. She’s friendly, responsive and always smiling. The suite is charming, furnished with gorgeous antiques and full of inspiration. The location is easy to get to, close to grocery stores and only steps from the magical beach. This truly feels like beach getaway! Close your eyes and you are transported to your fav spot anywhere in the world.

We had a great stay! Any fisherman looking to go fish the bay of quinty i strongly recommend looking into kim place! We were able to walk out the door straight onto our boat at kims dock and be fishing within minutes! Tim horton and bait shop are just around the corner

The friendly staff at this apartment were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room is very clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious pizza and chicken wings at Sutha’s Pizza beside the apartment. Sutha and the staff who run this beautiful place really made our stay amazing. They make sure we had incredible time and we are planning to visit and rebook again in a couple of months.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

GPS found the place immediately. I like that it was a peaceful stay yet close enough to other houses as we arrived the place at 10:30pm. Kim is responsive and helpful. I wish we had time to spend at their yard! It was neat and beautiful. My kids would have loved it but we didn’t have time as we were heading at the conference the next morning. God willing, we are coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at David’s studio very much. Unfortunately the weather had been quite bad so we didn’t get to sit out in the backyard to enjoy the sunshine.

Went with my daughter for a few days. Beautiful spot. Everything was as promised :)

Cottage is comfortable & very well equipped. The deck over the water is divine, esp in the perfect early fall weather we had. We spent blissful early morning & evening hours out there loving the tranquility & lake view. We'd definitely like to do a repeat next fall. That said, Oak Lake is small & ringed by many cottages, likely very lively with boats & rec vehicles in high season. Though we were dying to go in the water, the lake bottom is very yucky. If swimming & easy access from-shoreline matters to you, this location isn't ideal. There may be other sites around the lake where you can get into the water, don't know. What is ideal for kids is the bunkie with bunk beds. (We didn't realize the extra bedroom pictured is a bunkie, in which our senior girlfriend who visited us didn't want to sleep, so used the LR sofa instead.) To swim, we went to Sandbanks provincial park, with its amazing beaches, about an hour away.

There were only 3 of us so needless to say we had more than enough room. As a result we did not use the apartment over the garage.I really enjoyed the view from the dining area especially the early sunrises. I appreciated all of the utensils and condiments that we had access to. Much more than in other places I have rented. This is an indication of the attention to detail that Warren has. All in all a very enjoyable time.

The place felt perfect for the two of us and our dog. We needed to unwind a bit and the place totally allowed for it: It was extremely clean and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Ryan was very prompt in his responses and we would absolutely love to be back again.

This place was absolutely amazing!!!! The property is beautiful and has a town nearby for anything you might need! We loved our stay!

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

Erin’s place was exactly as described. Very well equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. We loved the clean white linens on all the beds. The sunsets were so beautiful. We sat every evening on the deck and watched the sun go down. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. Thank you Erin and Alex.

This was my second time visiting this lovely location. First with my family and this time for a girls weekend. We loved Caron’s place. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The outside seating area, views and privacy cannot be beat. We enjoyed our time, had amazing weather and really appreciated the air conditioning. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to book again.
