Tiny house holiday rentals in Northern Norway

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

I found everything I expected in the Liеs cabin: a beautiful location between two lakes, peace and quiet. Liеs was happy to help me contact my family when my phone fell into the water. If you like fishing - there are many fish-rich lakes close by. Liеs also offers interesting activities myself, such as dog sledding rides, etc. I would like to try again in winter (if I can book the cabin in time). Thank you very much, Lies!

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

It has been a pleasure to stay in your cabin. It's in a winter paradise, with amazing views. We had a perfect time and were able to see the famous Northern Lights, it was an experience we will never forget. Thank you for everything to Jana and Uffe, but also thank your son Viking who was attentive to our needs.

Great secluded cottage. Makes for easy viewing of the Auroras.

Heidi’s place is at the best location if you want to be close to Rovaniemi but to be able to see the northern lights at the same time. We stayed there 2 days to explore Rovaniemi before going to the north to see the northern lights but we already saw them in these two days. We felt like at home. Very cosy and peaceful.

We spent two nights during late March in Anette’s beautiful red cottage. It was incredible! The cabin is beautiful, spacious and comfortable and the fireplace is excellent. We were lucky enough to see a fantastic aurora show on our second night there. So great to be able to just step outside and see the auroras dancing. Anette was also very responsive if we had any questions. Some tips: Bring eye masks as the sun will wake you up. Buy your groceries at the K-supermarket in Kittila (18 min drive) - it’s a great supermarket with excellent produce (we bought ours in the ICA in Sweden and I wish we just went to the K-supermarket). We also went to the Snow Village while we were there - it was also incredible. But unless you’re used to driving on a single lane snowy road, don’t take the north short cut to get to the Snow Village. It’s better to take the longer route along the main roads from the cottage. Finally, if you get a chance, stay here!! It is magical. We hope to go back one day!

Very cozy barn in a beautiful area surrounded by abundant nature and a lovely garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decoration was charming and cozy. Great communication with Ellinor. Highly recommended!

Great cabin. Perfect location for all the trips in the southern part of the Lofoten islands. There is everything (and even more) in the cabin you need for a perfekt stay. There were fresh flowers in the cabin and Chris is a very friendly and welcoming host. Thanks for the great time!

The tiny house is so beautiful. The view is unimaginable and breathtaking. You wake up seeing the mountains and the sea. Ballangens surrounding area offers many opportunities to explore the beautiful landscape. We saw wild moose, reindeers, eagles and rabbits. It’s a great place to hike or go fishing. Rune is a great host. He knows a lot about the area and provides you with great tips.

A very nice accommodation in a beautiful location! Wor received very helpful tips for excursions and even a lovely message, with the tip where you can see the midnight sun well, which helped us to a spontaneous wonderful excursion. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful surroundings, amazing views

Full point accommodation. Recommended. Everything was easy, clear, tidy, and comfortable in every way. Great location. We'd love to stay longer.

The accommodation is BEAUTIFUL, each element is of very good quality, very clean and very functional despite a small space. We had a really great stay at this place, too bad for us the weather was not with us at all, so no aurora boreal and not much visibility. Fortunately, the accommodation, the hot tub allowed us to enjoy nature... very relaxing. It's great to just be in bed looking at nature.

Gunnar's Ønedomen was a unique, fun and comfortable "glamping" experience. The views are amazing. And Gunnar is a delight. He was friendly and very helpful with transportation to and from the place. While we were there off-season and experienced bad weather, we still had a good time; and in better weather you could enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and grilling. As it was, we enjoyed a hike nonetheless, and took advantage of the floating sauna (highly recommended!!). The island, and Gunnar's stay, are well worth the visit.

This charming cabin is right on a pristine and quiet lake. We loved sitting out on the dock, watching the light change. In the distance there were a few bright red farm houses and cattle grazing on a field nearby. Because of the midnight sun we frequently got up at two or three or four in the morning to look at the changes on the lake. Each hour it looked different and always wonderful. The serenity is just what we were looking for and we found at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped, and had everything. needed to make some meals. Monica is a supreme host. She went out of her way to help out in many ways, for example I needed to ship a box home and she took us to the post place and translated as needed. We would love to come back.

Elisabeth was flexible with the checkout time. She also greeted us when we arrived, so check in could not be easier. Communication with her was smooth as she was very friendly and responsive. Her place was very warm and cosy, with a well designed living room and open kitchen. Spotless, clean and spacious bathroom.

Everything is great, the location is unique, completely outside with a view of the lake.

The mini cottage was just like in the pictures. More spacious than the square. We had a really good time for one night, even if we stayed longer.

We had two wonderful weeks in this cozy cabin at this very special place: We loved the view from the cabin onto the see, the short walk to the rocks to see the sunset, the kajaking between the tiny islands, the evenings in the outdoor bathtub, the hikes up to bolgtinden, through bolgborra and around the island, the bouldering behind the cabin, the slackline between the trees, the snorkeling in the bay... It is really a perfect place on an amazing island. Furthermore the cabin could not be better equipped and Edle Catharina is a very caring host, who explains everything in great detail. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

We had an amazing upheads at Erhard's place. Stedrt is a rare find, very scenic, and several activities within a short radius. Happy to visit again.

Very nice place. Great views directly to the lake and plenty of opportunities for both water and off-road activities. First-class equipment. Communication with Paula went smoothly and she took good care of our needs. We will😁 definitely go again!
