Beachfront holiday rentals in Northern Norway

This was such an incredible find - we were looking for a place to recuperate before flying out the next day and this house was perfect. Edna and Bosse were proactive with check-in and even swung by early in the evening to say hi and provide some fun information about the surrounds. The place itself was spacious, kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was clean and tidy. Would 100% stay here again if I was ever in the area!!

Amazing and unique place on the river side. Quiet and peaceful. 20 min drive from Levi, but felt really remote. Enjoyed the fire hut and hot tub. The place is very well equipped and good vibes. Thanks Marko for pleasant and helpful communication.

We had a relaxing, beautiful stay with great views of the water! Everything you need is there. The host was very friendly and always available.

Loved staying in Lars’ rorbu! Spacious, very clean and comfortable, the property is as described. The view on the water and up to Reinebringen is beautiful. As a fishing cabin, it is just that: simple and practical. Lars is very helpful: it was quite chilly when we arrived (for us Aussies!) and he offered to bring firewood for the fireplace: but it was not needed as the heating did the job once it kicked in! Although a 40 min walk to Reinebringen trailhead, it was much easier than to try find a park closer - and cheaper!

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Second time staying at this beautiful place! Everything was perfect!

A beautiful canin located in picturesque surroundings. The view in the morning over the river is stunning! The cabin is surrounded by woodlands, you really feel off the beaten track! Sanna is extremely responsive, even later at night if you happen to lock yourself out( not recomended though). The perfect place to relax

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We stayed for three nights at Edgars house. The location of the house was amazing. The house is very cosy and you have an amazing view on the river/fjord. In the kitchen we found everthing we needed. We highly recommed Edgars house for a trip to Monsjøen. We were a little bit sad that our stay was so short. We did a circular hiking round including the Helgelandstrappa, which is worth to visit.

Very nice chalet where we could completely unwind! We were very sorry that we had only booked for one night. The host was also very reactive and responded within 5 minutes when we had a question about how the sauna works. We only notice one downside: there was only very little wood available for the fireplace, so we could only enjoy the fire for a while.

The house is perfect, the lake is a dream place for aurora watching, and meeting reindeer ! Ilkka is of great help to organize activities. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a very nice and cozy winter holiday in layers with friends at Umforsgården. Nice space and good facilities when you want to vacation several families in teams, preferably with children.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

Linda and Semi's summer house is the best place for adults and kids to relax and play in summer. we stayed there for 2 days. The place provides countless recreational facilities. you can have suna, hot tub, fishing, paddling, table tennis, ... The rooms are clean. The kitchen is full-equipted. We had a great time there.

This stay was by far one of our absolute favorite Airbnbs! The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking views of the seaside. Sitting in the cozy living room, watching the ever-changing scenery through the large windows, was an experience in itself—especially since we were lucky enough to see both the northern lights and whales during our stay! The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature with almost no neighbors, yet still conveniently close to Tromsø. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the incredible views. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything felt clean and modern. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with stunning scenery and the chance to see incredible wildlife, this is the perfect place. We can't recommend it highly enough and would love to return one day!

We came for the fox and stayed for everything else. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and Anita and her parents are great hosts who make you feel at home immediately.

The cottage is in a great location and the sauna has great steam. Location very good and only a short drive to services. We had a great time.

The place was so beautiful! How naturally the cottage and the barbecue area fit into the environment! From the cottage, you could see the lake through the beautifully pruned trees. It was calming to watch the summer life of the water - our time there was filled with sun, fog and rain, which was great. The cottage was very well equipped, clean, cozy, tastefully decorated. The wood was waiting in the wood sauna and at the barbecue area, skillfully arranged. Check-in and communication with Terho went smoothly. We felt at home in the accommodation from the very first day. The house is very cozy and well-equipped. We were able to observe porpoises, humpback whales, and sea otters right in front of our house. This is a place where you can find peace from the hectic everyday life. Starting points for ski tours are just a few minutes' drive away. Communication with the host was very straightforward and very friendly.

We liked the terrace best, where we could enjoy the sun, the absolute peace and the view of the river. Even in rainy weather, it was very pleasant inside - with a sauna and large windows to look out. We felt very comfortable.
