Nice location, close to Redding and I-5 yet very quiet and peaceful. Also close to Birman State Park.

We return to Alison's for a good reason: it's a wonderful home, clean, quiet, comfortable, and very close to Lassen National Park. We have stayed in many AirBnBs over the years and Alison's is at the top of our list.

This rustic cottage was so much fun to stay in! It felt very much like a cabin, but with all the good stuff like electricity and plumbing. The views were amazing, and my kids got a kick out of the cows just on the other side of the fence. We did notice some very small ants inside, as well as a few cobweb-y corners, but you’re staying on a working farm and that just comes along with it I think. It felt lived in and cozy, and for us that made it more enjoyable and easier to relax in. Definitely felt right at home!

Very charming cottage on a beautiful flower-filled lush green property that sits right on the lake. Lots of lovely touches that make you feel at home. Very cozy and quaint. It served my needs as essentially I just needed a place to spend the nights as I was on a retreat nearby. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the water lapping on the shores of the lake. Joan was friendly and invited me to take advantage of her beautiful yard. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The place was awesome. Beautiful scenery. We felt right at home. Ryan and James answered all our questions. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful scenery and all you need to be comfortable this is the place.

This cottage is the perfect private getaway in the woods! A beautiful meadow surrounded by forest, pleasant and comfortable cabin amenities, and a magical (private) outdoor shower filled with ferns made this a wonderful place to stay! Built by the owners, close to the forest and the beach, so amazing.

We just love Ferndale, and have been staying in the perfect and quaint Victorian town for decades on and off. This Airbnb is right downtown, could not be closer to the restaurants and the shops, and historic cemetery. The old barn is a delight, with a lovely view of the back. The proprietors have thought of everything, every little detail and amenity. Charming, quaint, the perfect kind of place to stay at when visiting Ferndale. Highly recommend.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Melissa provided great recommendations and was very responsive whenever we had a question. It’s about a 50 min drive from the cottage to the entrance of Yosemite.

This stay was truly unique and special. The small touches made it feel homey like the variety of coffee pods and Keurig machine. There were a few games and magazines and the brewery serving up their very good beer. The only issue we had was the very slow internet connection, it was not staying connected for long and we had to restart and still connection was not great for streaming. Overall, the animals, the quiet, and the yurt experience was lovely.

This is a great cabin and serves as a great place for a weekend retreat. It’s perfectly secluded yet close to the town. The wifi can be spotty and was the biggest downside.

This is the perfect place to stay when staying in Eureka. It's cozy and made me feel right at home. I couldn't have picked a perfect place to stay all week while hiking the Redwoods National and State parks. The house had many spaces to hangout and the kitchen was nice for cooking our own meals. If you are wondering if you should stay here, the answer is yes!!

My stay at this charming cabin near Yosemite was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect—making it easy to explore the stunning scenery and outdoor activities. The cabin itself was cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Fun barn loft on a nice working apple orchard/farm. There are goats, dogs, ducks and a sweet potbellied pig as a bonus at this stay. There loft was a nice quiet mountain stay. Be prepared as stated in the description to walk up and down stairs with your stuff. This would not be ideal for anyone with physical limitations. We stayed here to visit Yosemite but be aware it is still quite a drive (over 1 hour) to either park entrance. It is not super close to any town either so come prepared with what you need.

This place was our first taste of California! Visited from Pennsylvania, and after a very long day of traveling, this was a welcome sanctuary. Close enough to San Francisco to spend a day in the city while still getting away from the busyness of it all at night. Also equal distance from point Reyes national sea shore which was a beautiful wild coastline. The home was well stocked with kitchen tools, the bed was super comfy and the dogs were always a wonderful welcome crew! Would definitely stay here again and were sad to leave

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great experience!

Shannon's place was amazing! We all had a great time with all the games and the large pool. The home and surroundings are beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location nestled within a vineyard. Cabin was spotless and spacious. Back patio was peaceful with lush views of a rambling creek and trees. Highly recommend! Also recommend BBQ 152 in Gilroy just 5 miles away.

Wow - 5 stars are not enough - what an amazing place! Beautiful home, very-well appointed and spotlessly clean and set in stunning surroundings. Jody’s great communication and eagerness to please make her a great host - the icing on the cake. We all (4 adults + 1 infant) are looking for any excuse to return! We had a wonderful stay in this home. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and a nice deck out back to take it all in. Everything was as-advertised and it was well equipped for light at home cooking. Great place to stay.

Jeanne’s place was incredibly beautiful and she was the most responsive host we’ve ever had. She helped coordinate special spots for our weekend trip and went above and beyond making it special. Her place felt so authentic to Sonoma and was the perfect place to stay for your trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Liesl and Marcel’s place. The house includes lots of amenities. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfy bed. They were very responsive. The location is remote, which is obvious from the map and the description.

Beautiful view. Perfect place to gather family with differing inside and outside spaces. Kitchen is large enough for several people to be working on meals at the same time. A bit of a backroad adventure to arrive the first time, but easy enough once you get accustomed to your surroundings. Enjoyed our stay

If you’re looking for a place to get away and recharge, this is highly recommended! It’s a small cabin, but the location right on the river was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The WiFi isn’t strong, but this place should be an escape from such things - spend 30 minutes sitting by the river!
