We spent four nights here as part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved every moment. The home was beautifully decorated, cozy, and so welcoming—it truly felt like a peaceful retreat in the woods. Nestled near the lake and surrounded by stunning trees, the setting was nothing short of magical. Everything was exactly as pictured, and the attention to detail in the decor and comfort really made it feel special. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. One especially thoughtful touch was the homemade cookie dough waiting for us when we arrived—such a sweet and delicious way to kick off our stay! We’re so grateful we found this place. It was the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and charming escape!

Bob's place was exactly as we expected and better. Nicely tucked away in some nature. There were a couple of rules/guidelines/instructions to follow, but they were reasonable and for good reason, as you can imagine some guests can be disrespectful to the neighbors or property. Overall it was a great stay and communication from Bob was top notch. Would recommend and come back

This place is perfection & decorated wonderfully! The location is unreal if you are in the area to hike the Redwoods!! There is a great hot tub right on a gorgeous river and it has all the amenities one would need. We only with we had more than two nights there! Thanks for the memorable time!

You read ‘this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in’ a lot on this app for a bunch of OK/decent places but truly this is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. More akin to a living architecture property, we felt very lucky to be able to stay in such a wonderfully curated and thoughtfully designed space. Every detail thought of. Really walkable to good coffee (three pines) and the lake, and v close to a bunch of running and cycling trails.

What a GEM!!! A super quaint, quiet, private cabin! The VIEW!! The BEACH steps away!! So close to grocery store- we opted to eat at home rather than dining out just to take in the amazing sunset from our private deck, surrounded by gardens. We spent 3 days exploring redwoods from this central location.

This is the perfect place for a family with kids, or a girlfriends’ weekend! So spacious! The large kitchen accommodates a lot of activity, and the private yard is perfect for relaxing adults and active children. Wonderful hot tub! We can easily walk the El Dorado Trail into town, or east for a more strenuous walk. Starfield Vineyards is across the street, with trails and gardens, not to mention, great wine. The hosts were responsive, but were hardly necessary, since our needs had been anticipated. I hope to stay at Blue Lead Lodge again soon.

The place was awesome. Beautiful scenery. We felt right at home. Ryan and James answered all our questions. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful scenery and all you need to be comfortable this is the place.

Absolutely stunning property, I could stare at that view for the rest of my life. The main home is gorgeous — still full of it's original details with renovated bathrooms which make it feel completely clean and fresh (a challenge with some of the old wooden cabins in the area). We also loved having two seperate buildings — great for people who are light sleepers or want to sleep in for longer in the morning. I would love to come back here someday, it's truly magical.

We were so happy with this unique and artistic home! It was close enough to town to be convenient, but also far enough to feel like a getaway. Debbie and Lavender are wonderful hosts—we were so pleasantly surprised by the welcome basket. So lovely!

Paulette was very helpful leaving plenty of instructions and suggestions for the area. The location was well kept and had everything we needed. The only problem was that some of the lights weren’t working or the light bulb was out but that’s an easy fix. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a quieter get away and enjoy being by the water

We return to Alison's for a good reason: it's a wonderful home, clean, quiet, comfortable, and very close to Lassen National Park. We have stayed in many AirBnBs over the years and Alison's is at the top of our list.

We loved this little cabin in the woods! A perfect stop after a day in Redwoods National and State Parks, very conveniently located. The cabin is great and the surrounding setting is gorgeous. We spent a long time sitting outside enjoying the trees and ferns. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect getaway spot! The photos don't do it justice, the place is surrounded by nature and has almost a treehouse feel to it. We loved the decor and felt the place had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be back here!

Cozy cabin, felt right at home. My son loved having the top floor to himself. The downtown was adorable. You are still about 2 hours from Yosemite so plan for that but it’s a beautiful drive and worth it! The deck privacy and trees are amazing. If we are ever in the area again, I would be sure and come back.

Stayed two nights visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Beautiful place right on the river had an amazing view to relax at the end of the day. Three Rivers was a great location with restaurants and markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend !

What an amazing, peaceful home! Super cool architecture, stylish furniture, quiet, wooded neighborhood and views of the forest everywhere! Absolutely loved it! Only five minutes from downtown grass Valley, but felt like you were in your own little hideaway in the middle of nowhere! Highly recommend!!!

They were incredibly friendly and thoughtful—truly wonderful people. The house is spotlessly clean and located in beautiful natural surroundings. Both the interior and exterior were very well maintained, and I really wished I could have stayed longer. Although it takes about an hour to get to Yosemite by car, it’s still one of the closer spots outside the park. I would love to stay here again if I get the chance.

This A-frame is beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to relax. It's close to lots of wonderful restaurants, shops, hikes, and scenic areas. We had an amazing time exploring the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Little touches at the house like the heated outdoor seats, excellent shower, and record player with records made us feel like we were living in a modern version of hippie comfort.

Lovely property. House is very inviting and the huge garden is amazing. My dog enjoyed exploring it with Celine's 2 little dogs. Walkable to trails, within 10 minutes drive to beaches, and 35-70 minutes to various parts of the redwood forests. Huge dog park nearby and Moonstone beach where dogs are allowed off-leash. Celine was friendly and helpful, providing lots of tips on where to eat and visit. She also gave me a can of bear spray when I expressed concern about hiking alone at Redwood National Forest. Would recommend!

We needed a peaceful getaway, and this spot was perfect. One of the coziest experiences we've had at an Airbnb, we'll definitely be back again! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Great location, flexible check-in with clear instructions, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout. Highly recommend!

The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

This cabin is clean and checks all the boxes. Has all the basics. A quality stay. Had a terrific time.

A wonderful little cabin in the redwoods and close to great hiking trails, vineyards, and small towns to explore. Perfect location and beautiful, modern cabin. Louise was very responsive and helpful!

Caz cabin is truly magical. This was my second time visiting and it was just as incredible! The cabin was so cozy, and the backyard wad enchanting. I never wanted to leave the porch! Can’t wait for my next visit!
