The stay at Mandor was totally fantastic. It was exactly the peaceful night I needed after Machu Pichu. I would recommend staying here if you are coming along the Salkantay trail and have an early arrival at Machu Pichu. The gardens and waterfall are so well kept and pristine. I would definitely come back here! Thank you, Erwin!

We had an incredible stay!! Orlando was great at check in and helped so much organizing our stay!! Max our guide was amazing and gave us a great experience!!! Patricia was a fantastic cook and made delicious food for us every day ! Three times a day!!! Go see them for a time you will never forget!!!

Lucho wasn’t just a host, he was our friend. This guy worked night and day to make our excursions happen! Did not expect that for such a cheap price! As well, the macaw that lives at the lodge is quite the character!

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

Our visit to the jungle was totally amazing in every way! Juan Carlos was such a great host and guide. He really wanted to show us everything he could! I felt like a young person (I'm 65) as I climbed trees - sorta, camped in the jungle, swam with the dolphins - and there could have been alligators and such! Just a totally incredible experience. And I felt so well taken care of. Mrs. Ana fixed the most delicious meals - more than I could eat. We were served, and cleaned up after. Roy seemed to be able to do anything - even building a railing for a log bridge while we were taking pictures on down the trail. Juan did a great job, also, driving the boat, with some help from Roy when it was dark. All of the guys were constantly looking for animals, birds, and flowers to make sure we could see them. And, when I was a little overwhelmed with the heat while walking uphill in the jungle, Juan fanned me with a palm leaf! I felt like a princess. I hope everyone gets a chance for such an adventu

The truth is the place is beautiful , except for the route to get there, which is a whole adventure , it was super clean and the staff very attentive to our requirements, they took care of us very well and even when we left early, the person in charge was there for us . I would definitely return👌.

This place is amazing if you want a quaint, quiet, personable, cozy slice of nature away from the city. All the plants, so pretty. They have a couple dogs and puppies, a few green parrots that meander the place throughout the day. Hammocks to relax in, a beautiful part of the river with a clean beach, and delicious meals cooked throughout the day. The rooms are airy and very open to the trees and natural light all around. The shower is only cold water but was welcome because of the hot weather that persisted during our trip in late September. They have trips to Tambopata that we didn’t do but the guides have good reviews and the people that went seemed to have enjoyed their time. The staff are sweet, caring, and communicative. This place was a breath of fresh air after running around Cusco, then Puerto Maldonado, staying at hostels and hotels. It was SO RELAXING, wow. Take a car taxi out there, we got a cart taxi to take us but it’s like 2-3 miles and bumpy. Cheers, Leo

This place in the middle of the mountain and sky was extremely beautiful. Our host Beto was the coolest guy he was a great host and Chef his food was so delicious overall was a perfect stay and I can’t wait to come back.

It is a perfect place to rest in the countryside, very nice, natural, with good privacy and good natural space around the cabin to do outdoor activities. The internet works very well so you can do remote work perfectly. Many thanks to Yulieth and her entire family!! <3

I had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay in the glamping cabin that they offer on Airbnb. Under their proper name Savieza Alojamiento Experiencial they also rent out comfortable rooms in the main house of their farm - including a family room with a private terrace. The view from the outdoors restaurant is absolutely amazing and well worth a visit even on its own. The glamping cabin is well maintained and homely and has the added benefit of a hot tub specifically for cabin guests - which is great as nights at this property can get quite cold, due to location and altitude. The staff is very welcoming and extremely responsive, they helped me with a small problem right away, were flexible to accomodate my preferred dinner and breakfast times, and went out of their way to book me a short notice mid-week guide for the Desierto de Checua (don't miss that one!). I was the only guest and felt very much at home with the friendliness of both humans and animals. 100% recommend!

The refuge of Kinkajú, is one of those healing spaces. From the very beginning, we were greeted with a warmth that transcended the simple hospitality. The people who take care of this magical corner of the world are generous souls, always attentive, always willing to help with a sincere smile. Not only did they give me a spotless and beautiful home, but they also guided me in the discovery of nature and cultures, putting me in touch with guides and trails that seemed taken out of a dream. To those who are looking for more than just a place to stay, who want to immerse themselves in the very essence of the forest, feel the beat of the earth, and discover themselves in the stillness of nature, I highly recommend this refuge. Very nice lodge in the middle of the rainforest, the approach with accompaniment is a bit tedious as you have to go through the rainforest for 1.5 hours and this can only be done with a 4x4! Adventure feeling Guaranteed! The beautiful lodge with its location and tranquility as well as the always helpful staff compensates for this.
