Thanks Katja, we had an amazing two days in Ranua. The house is very functional, accessible. Getting up in the morning and having lunch in front of the window with the impression of being in the heart of the forest, what a pleasure! The location is superb. Thank you again for the campfire, for taking the time to try to communicate with our children, and for the attention you gave them. I highly recommend it!

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

A house located in a very beautiful environment not far from the center of Kajaani and shops with pedestrian paths to walk the dog. So, a rare situation. In addition, IIkka is a very nice host. Her house was clean and we made it as clean as possible. A very pleasant stay for both of us and our dog. Thanks

Grandmother's house 🥰❤️ That is the feeling I had since stepping in and loved it. It felt very cosy and warm, old furniture but had everything we needed. Great location, I honestly felt sad to leave the place. Hoping to go back again next winter. Great garden for the kids to play in with swings and beautiful sauna. Fireplace was lovely and host very friendly. Unfortunately igloo wasn't up because of the snow level but that is mother nature and it reflects in no way on the host. Also lovely woods and lake close by, we enjoyed sledging the girls there, it takes 5 min. Thanks for everything

Very neat semi-detached house. Quiet environment. Communication was good.

The perfect home to escape the city's bustle. You don't have to go on a trip to nature separately. The paddler is enough for a few days to paddle. Excellent steam.

The accommodation is of course recommended in winter due to its location in the ski area, but also in summer for outdoor activities. Although it is small, everything necessary is available. Communication with Ilari was straightforward.

I had such a great stay. The cabin was very cozy and it is located in the middle of a winter wonderland. Great hiking trails and skiing lopes are easy to reach. The cabin has all you need and the built-in sauna is fantastic. I can definitely recommend a stay!! Thank you!

Amazing home! Beautiful log cabin decorated with elegant atmospheric design. Very well-equipped kitchen in the cottage. The location is excellent. Great for a family with children.

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

Lovely little simple cottage by the lake. I was bathed in a sauna that heated up quickly and gave strong but soft steam. There is no shower in the cottage. It was clever to take a dip in the cool water from the dock. The lower floor of the bunk bed was spread out as a double bed and very sleepy. Thank you very much, I recommend it to those who want peace and enjoy the sauna.

The place exceeded expectations! Unique, beautiful environment. The cottage is really well equipped, cooking was easy in the open fireplace and with gas. The sauna was atmospheric, the steam was great. Communication with Alex is smooth. A warm recommendation for this place, if you want to rest, this is the place!

My family and I were on an Easter holiday in Kuusamo. We stayed at Suvi's cottage that provided a great setting for calming down. Messaging with Suvi was flexible and quick. The cottage was clean and tidy, it was nice to get there. Grilling in a home, as well as a lakeside sauna and an opening at the end of the day, crowned the holiday.

Staying at Marie’s cabin was everything we needed and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful fairytale — the kind of place you dream about when life gets too loud. Nestled deep in the forest, the cabin offered total tranquility, but without sacrificing comfort. Everything was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with cozy touches that made it feel like home. Marie was a truly exceptional host — warm, responsive, and full of local tips that made our stay even more special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience. We especially loved the wood-burning stove, the big windows looking out onto the trees, and the morning coffee on the porch with birdsong all around. Thank you Marie.

Fantastic cottage with great amenities. Everything is present in the house and nice welcome package, including wood for the sauna. They are still busy building in the area, but this is not disturbing.

We actually thought the place was better than the photos! The cottage has lovely and bright windows where we could admire the beautiful evening sun, as well as bright stars and aurora. The height of the room added to the feel of the space. The sauna heated up quickly and provided the right steam. The bathroom connects to the comfort of the back patio to cool off. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and seasoning equipment. In addition, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the closet had nice extra pillows and blankets. The location of the cottage is excellent - it has its own privacy, but you can get to the center of Ruka and the slopes in no time. We will be happy to book this place again!
