Holiday rentals with breakfast in North Dorset District

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden space to enjoy in the sunshine. Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the excellent selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants.

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were going to a wedding locally. Angus was very friendly, and responsive to messages and dropped by with his dog to introduce himself. The accommodation is lovely and very well equipped. The bed is also super comfy! There’s a really nice garden with sitting area outside the patio doors too. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous stay. When we arrived Jane was friendly and very welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed. We were very grateful for the extras left in the cottage - milk, bread, coffee etc. it was so thoughtful! The cake was delicious too! The beds were extremely comfy and the cottage itself was spotless, so quiet and peaceful with a beautiful garden. The location was ideal too. We really couldn’t fault it. We would love to come back and stay again! Thank you Jane for everything. It really made our family holiday perfect.

We had a great time at Dibbens Townhouse. So well located - just a couple of minutes from the quay, and surrounded by lovely restaurants. The house is really spacious and very comfortable. Everything you could need. There can be a bit of external noise - both from people on the high street, and from seagulls - so I used earplugs as others had mentioned on the first night to help me get to sleep. It was much quieter on the second night. Definitely want to come back - sadly the weather turned so we didn’t do what we were planning to on our last day, and due to a recent operation I wasn’t able to try out the amazing looking bath!! Would highly recommended a stay here. Thank you for having us.

Stayed for a family party being held at a nearby venue. Was just overnight so didn't have a chance to explore the area but looked beautiful. Helpful host answering questions in advance and during stay. The place looked well kitted out if we had had time for a longer stay. happy to recommend to others.

Great cozy place in Warminster. Stayed with wife and kid to road trip around the area: Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, etc. hosts were friendly responsive and always helpful. Top place

What a great property to stay in while visiting the lovely Lyme Regis - we would definitely book again. Tess has thought of everything - it's the best equipped air bnb I've ever stayed in! This was the 3rd time we have stayed at Michele's. It's a great little place and I would definitely recommend it. The new decor is superb.

It is a lovely place with perfect hosts, I can highly recommend it!! The apartment is lovely and clean, you have free parking and a small space outside for having your breakfast coffee. Barrie was a lovely host, very friendly proactive and easy going. When we arrived we found butter, milk, a tasty bread and lovely jam left for us, it reminded me to the old Airbnb days, it was so welcoming! The beds were comfy, flat is designed with taste, it is quiet but 5 minutes away from restaurant and pubs. Poole beaches are close and sandy. My daughter did not want to leave and we will definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Pam's place! It was comfortable, spotlessly clean, in a great location for exploring the local area and very private. The enclosed garden was great - especially as we were travelling with our two dogs - and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome. There was so much to see and do nearby, we struggled to fit it all in on this visit so we'll have to come back! Thank you for having us, Pam :)

The post code address didn’t quite get us to Steve’s front door but we found it without too much trouble. The property is large and the cottage itself was very spacious and comfortable.The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome pack was excellent. There are a couple of nice local pubs and Melksham is close by. Bath is about half an hour away and there are a number of National Trust properties within a similar distance. A very pleasant property which is recommended.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Brian is the perfect host and his annexe is the perfect place to stay if you want the wonderful beaches without the craziness of Bournmouth. Brian always responded immediately, and was super helpful regarding check in and giving us information about the area. The annex is perfect for a couple, but note that the kitchen and living room area is on the first floor. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including bread and croisant, milk, tea, coffee, etc. The area was quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the beach, though a bit of a climb up. We had bikes and riding along the coast was wonderful. Thank you Brian, and hope to stay with you again soon!

Beth’ s place is amazing. A calm and peaceful haven. From the thoughtful welcome card to the incredibly kind extra touches like bread, milk and eggs. Beth has created the most fantastic experience for guests. We had a fabulous 8 nights and really recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

The Old Bakery was a real find. Jude and Will are hosts who go above and beyond. They couldn’t do enough for us. Not only was the apartment clean, cosy and comfortable, but they had provided everything we needed for breakfast, and told us if there was anything else they could provide to just ask. They were so friendly, communicative and helpful, and said if there was anything we needed or had problems with, to contact them day or night. Those personal touches make a huge difference. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden at the back for our breakfast! We had a nice pub meal one night in the Ropemakers in town, which was only a 10 minute walk away. We also had a lovely walk across the cliff path from Bridport to Eype, which was a lovely pebble beach. We visited Sculpture by the Lakes, which was a beautiful place, and Forde Abbey gardens, all of which are worth visiting if you like a bit of peace and tranquility. Thank you Jude and Will. We’d love to return!

I had a great stay. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Anna was a very good host. I had regular communication before my arrival as I had quite a complicated journey, but she was flexible with my arrival time and made sure everything was ready when I finally did arrive. Continental breakfast was delivered to the door of the accommodation and it was very well received. Thank you, Anna.

The Bothy is an incredible find in the Wiltshire countryside. The room was lovely, the host put the heating on before we arrived and left tea and coffee plus fruit for the next morning. The view is incredible and we rested really well. Tranquility and a lovely home! The breakfasts were amazing and the communication with the host perfect. We will visit again! Jane was extremely welcoming and pleasant. She was very attentive throughout the stay and always checked if everything was OK. The location was fantastic - just a few hundred metres from the cathedral and with the added bonus of parking very close to the cabin. The property is small as described but it's ideal for a short stay.

Amy and Ian were all around fantastic hosts. Their place was lovely and is situated in a splendid location inside the new forest National park. There is fantastic walks right on their doorstep as well as a lovely pub just a 10 minute walk away. We also did the extra animal experience which was lots of fun and would highly recommend to anyone staying here. This is an absolute gem of an air b and b. Thanks Amy and Ian!

Perfect place for my stay- was there for work so was a little stressed but Pat was so friendly and helpful, bedroom was clean and comfortable and had easy accessible kitchen with light breakfast and coffee options. Would recommend

I booked this wonderful apartment for my sister as she doesn't use the internet. It was her first break since her husband passed away. From the start it was obvious that this was absolutely the right choice. A lovely apartment in beautiful surroundings with wonderful hosts, Sian and David. Highly recommended

Very quiet and extremely picturesque place. We absolutely loved it! Many old buildings including the B&B. We went hiking in Cranborne chase national landscape, not very far from the village and ate at a very good local restaurant. The hostess is the sweetest lady with whom we enjoyed chatting! She made us a delicious continental breakfast.
