Cabin holiday rentals in North Devon District

We had a lovely and restful stay at Peter’s place. Beautiful peaceful surroundings but still in reach of Lyme Regis & fossil hunting (25 min drive). The hut was clean & spacious and the hot tub was lovely. We definitely hope to return in the future. The nearby goats added a certain something & put a smile on our faces!

A LOVELY place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It was extremely private - some reviews said it wasn't as private as advertised, but this is absolutely not the case. There is another building on the property, but it isn't in use when the Airbnb is being rented. The entire outdoor space (including bar and hot tub) are solely yours to use. It was amazing. Also fantastic for our dogs. While it rained a lot, we still used the hot tub and let the dogs roam whenever possible. The space is also really nice. It's small, but we had no trouble making it work for two adults and two dogs. It really had everything we needed for our four days. The host is also fantastic. Samantha provided all the information we needed beforehand, but was also responsive when we had questions about the location (despite it being quite late when we arrived). As other reviews said, there is a farm nearby and the roosters do what they do...but I found the sounds comforting. We recommend!

Beautiful place to unwind! Sadly wasn’t as sunny as we hoped, but the lodge was perfectly cozy. Stunning views and the lodge has everything you could need.

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely time. Lovely view from the hot tub in the evening and so nice to wake up to deer in the field in the morning.

Second time around for us! Loved it just as much as the first time! Hot tub was bliss… as were the lovely muffins left for us 👌🏼 Thankyou Sally for another wonderful stay!

honestly cannot fault this place one bit, the outside area with a bathtub was such a nice touch ! the place was as described and squeaky clean which is amazing. The ceiling did make creaky sounds at times but nothing that can be faulted. highly recommend having a car as it isnt really walkable (we did try though) Anyways, hope to be back soon. thank you for a great stay.

Second time staying here, this time we bought the children! They absolutely loved it; especially the hot tub and the animals. Very peaceful and we was lucky to enjoy the garden in the sunshine!! We did have an unexpected visit from some dogs which startled the children as they’re scared of dogs but they swiftly moved on. Pam’s husband came to check everything was okay and couple of times which was nice apart from that was very private😊. Besides the animals we also found a lovely local park for the kids and purchased some homemade jam from a neighbour. Will most definitely look to book again in the future. X

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hadyn and Caroline were excellent hosts to thier hidden beauty of a cabin which is nestled into the side of an Exmoor Valley. As teachers, we are always looking to get away to unique little properties where we can relax and unwind in nature for a few days and that's exactly what we got at Stone crackers cabin. It's a perfectly rustic cabin that warms up nicely with the fire on and the wood fires bath is a perfect way to unwind after hiking in the surrounding valleys. Thanks for the jam, cake and eggs. All went down nicely. We'll be sure to return again and do some more exploring. Matt and Paul

Well, what can we say about The Den. Completely secluded, from the moment we walked it the decor oozed luxury and the dark moody subtle interior set the tone for a 'shut the world away & stay cozy' from the chaotic'ness of day to day life. There wasn't a single need that wasn't thought about. The sauna and hot tub were lovely additions to the stay. Truly no need to leave just take in the surrounding and snuggle up with a good book. We will most definitely be back for another stay. Well done team Hideaway 👏🏻

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! We have been to a lot of air b&bs and this one is one of our favourites. As we have two Labradors it can be difficult to find somewhere appropriate that allows two bigger dogs. The enclosed garden was more than enough space for the dogs to roam around and as an added bonus the boys could run around in the field the cabin over looked when there were no animals in there. The beds were really comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped and jasmine left us with some milk, eggs and some amazing flapjacks! We visited the pub on Dunster which is dogs friendly and had a beautiful garden with a view of duster castle called the Luttrell arms which has amazing food! Thank you so much we are already planning to come back again!

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

We had a lovely couple of days' stay at Amy's place. Set in beautiful surroundings, the place was warm, tidy and inviting. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful bouquet of gorgeous flowers! Waking up to bird song and roosters crowing truly makes one feel closer to nature. Amy was also kind enough to offer a slightly later check out to suit our needs, which we were very grateful for.

This is a lovely light & spacious cabin with great coastal views in a quiet location. It was a great base to explore this part of the north Devon coast and we'd happily stay here again

Has the best time away here great location and plenty to do. The cabin was amazing with a great view of the sea would definitely stay again! The bath was very warm even with the strong winds. Me and my partner loved it and Simon was a great host and provided us with loads of information of activities within the area.

We had a beautiful stay this weekend at Gills lodge, it is in a peaceful location and has lovely attention to detail inside with everything you could need and more! Bude is a short drive away, with lovely bars & restaurants, along with nice coastal walks! Highly recommend <3

This was by far our favourite stay in the years we’ve been using Air BnB!! Places like this make you remember what a beautiful country we live in! The location was completely private and surrounded by beautiful wildlife and birdsong. Ellen was a fantastic host - gave lots of information and the option to purchase a food box from their farm, which was delicious! We’ll definitely be back again!!

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay in the pod. It’s in a beautiful location, overlooking the sea and rolling hills. The pod is well equipped despite it being small and cosy! It’s close to local beaches and good walking trails. Exmoor National Park is only a short car journey away - highly recommend the Heddon’s Mouth Circular Trail for a relaxed but scenic walk. A big thank you to John who was a great host - really speedy responses, good recommendations and even left us some scones on arrival!

Beautiful spot, lots of local recommendations. Handy honesty shop for any bits you forget. Kitchen has most things so no need to bring any utensils. Took my kids and dog who loved the space.

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations were simple, clean and exactly as described on Air B&B app. We were left to look after ourselves, which was great because all was explained perfectly for us by the hosts. We enjoyed the view of the valley from the decking area and some local attractions and pubs too. We thought it was great value for money.

Such an amazing place. Absolutely stunning location - woke up to the beautiful and peaceful lake view every morning. Cabins are stylishly designed and well resourced. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The classes on offer were great - loved the nidra, sound ceremony and daily meditation. You can enjoy a drink and games in the evening at the bistro or reserve the fire pit. It’s a short drive to the beach too. Would definitely visit again!

The lodge was so peaceful and had absolutely everything we needed. Everything was spotless and as described, we were so relaxed for a long weekend. We loved all the extra info about all the eco-credentials and all the extra touches like scones, wildflowers in the jug and the window insect screens!!! The walks from the door were great and we enjoyed meeting the chickens and Sally the Springer Spaniel! The location was great to explore this part of Devon, we weren’t more than 30 minutes from anything. We would absolutely recommend and will definitely return in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
