Chalet holiday rentals in North Coast

The house is a beautiful, spacious, and a perfect get away in Mt.Shasta. Everything needed for cooking, inside and outside. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and gave us all space to sleep. The host was very responsive and helpful when contacted. I would recommend this house to travelers.

Great area and loved staying there.

We loved our stay at the Mill Valley Chalet! We felt super comfortable and at ease right when we walked in - mellow/calming instrumental music was playing, what a nice touch :) Being surrounded by redwoods, in a home made from redwood trees was magical. We loved that we could walk across the street and down the stairs into town. There were various delicious restaurants (we highly recommend Flour Craft Bakery and Piazza D'Angelo) nearby as well as a market and little shops. Super close to incredible hikes in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (NPS) and Mt. Tamalpais too. We really loved sitting out on the decks amongst the redwoods, and even saw a buck with large fuzzy antlers. The kitchen has everything you need including cooking oil, coffee, tea, and spices; the showers had nice water pressure; and the beds were pretty comfortable - the downstairs bed was a little firm, and upstairs medium firm. Matt and Krisztina were easy to communicate with, too :)

My band and I stayed at Joe's place as a musicians retreat. We rented the whole house which provided plenty of room for us. The studio/recording area is great. Lotsa spare cables and equipment in case anything was forgotten and great acoustics and separation. When a break was needed we would go to the patio and take in the beautiful views of redwoods and the canyon. I had tons of questions for Joe and he was pleasant and kind through out. Very responsive even though he was traveling! He made sure to provide clarity on equipment questions and general questions about the home. Parking here is tight so be aware of that before visiting. That said we were able to find plenty of parking up and down the narrow street. Highly recommended! Great location and great for creativity!

Jeffrey's chalet is everything me and my 3 friends hoped for. It matches the descriptions, is a cozy getaway place away from any city noise, and I would recommend it for anyone. We really enjoyed playing the badminton that was already set up when we arrived, and can imagine this place is great for kids to run around as well. The hot tub is the perfect place to wind down after a long drive or a day full of hiking around the Redwoods. And most importantly, Jeffrey is a responsive and very kind host, who made sure to check in on us about our questions, and to give us a a short history of the area.

This place is a gem! The location on the top of the hill, the views, the pool, we had such a good time! Looking forward to staying there again.

Taras place was exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend away. We were able to get a mix of nature and hiking with wineries and good food! Location was great and it was quick and easy for us to get around with our rental.
