Beach house holiday rentals in North Coast

The River View House was wonderful! Very quiet and peaceful - great for the 7 guests we brought. The river was fun for a quick dip once in a while. The home was clean and spacious. Plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen dishes for us. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. We are planning to come back to the same rental again! We didn’t add on the studio, but likely will next time if we have more guests or more than 2 couples.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

This was our second stay at BayMod, and we're already excited to come back again. It's a stunning location, right on the bay, with kayaks and all the accessories you'd need (like lifejackets in many sizes). We saw seals, bat rays, and lots of other wildlife when we went out in the morning. We love going to Nick's Cove for lunch and outdoor games (you could even kayak there), to Route One Bakery for breakfast and coffee, and down to Point Reyes Station for shops, restaurants, and groceries. The house is impeccably organized (the most well-organized Airbnb I've ever seen) with helpful instructions and just everything you might think of. Example: lying on the couch looking out the window and feeling a bit cold? There is a bin of throw blankets within arm's reach. Trying to see what's on Hog Island right now? There are binoculars, plus a powerful monocular with a phone mount. This thoughtfulness extends to all aspects of the house. It's beautiful, clean, and cozy. Thank you Deb!

We had a great stay at Ira's place in Crescent City. The view of the ocean was amazing and we loved the beach access across the street. We appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs that were provided. The kitchen worked well when we cooked for ourselves. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed restful vacation sleep. We'd happily stay at this place again.

Absolutely lovely place, loads of space, excellent amenities and within 15 minutes walk of the beach. Outdoor barbecue was a particular bonus!

We loved the entire property. the kids and dogs played ball in the front yard and the fire pit was amazing for smores. The gas fire pit on the porch was great for watching the sunset over the ocean. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Being dog friendly was so important to our family. We loved the pool at the community center, the beaches and the Skunk train. Great birthday celebration house.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the setting is peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. Everything was well maintained, and it’s just a short drive to Mendocino. Highly recommended!

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

My husband Josh and I had an unforgettable time at Cindi’s place in Sea Ranch. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—unique architecture, cozy design, and right on the beach. Every evening we watched the waves crash on the rocks just outside the window. It was peaceful, stunning, and truly magical. Cindi was a fantastic host, super helpful and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Anu’s house in the Sea Ranch was perfect for our group. So easy to walk to the bluff trail, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views of the stars from the hot tub and decks at night. We also really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and sitting in the sun on the front deck.

We love this place so much that we came back for a second time. Peaceful home. Kid and dog friendly. Spent our days at tide pools and hiking through redwoods. Cant beat the location.

We enjoyed our time at The Bluffs last week. It's a wonderful, cozy and comfortable place to spend time unwinding. Great ocean views. We liked the convenience of taking the walking trail in front of the house which leads out to the bluff trail. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking meals: pots, pans, utensils, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, etc. Quiet and peaceful area with deer and other wildlife. We recommend picking up a map of Sea Ranch area at the association office if you want to explore the beaches and trails more. John was very prompt with any questions we had about the house. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our time on the coast. This home is absolutely incredible-- breathtaking views, gorgeous decor, large kitchen with ample cookware, amazing deck, CLEAN, comfortable beds, fantastic location. Sea Ranch itself is a wonderful place for those seeking a quiet & peaceful area surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Pauline is an excellent host with great communication who went above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend Seaward Bliss, and I can't wait to return again one day!

Wonderful space for 5 friends, a dog and a baby! Gorgeous ocean view, right next to trails, and close to town. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking on nights in. Main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the sofa bed easily accommodated a single person. Would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect, perched on a hill and nestled against the woods, yet facing the ocean, offering breathtaking views. It was the perfect balance of serenity and stunning scenery. We loved our stay so much. The house exceeded our expectations in terms of views, cleanliness, and coziness. The beds were quite comfortable and the house is super quiet and peaceful. We came with our 2 and 4 year old daughters, and while it is not explicitly a kid-oriented house, it worked quite well for us. Details like blackout shades, soft carpets, and a very useable (and gorgeous) outdoor dining area made it especially friendly to small kids, in my opinion. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool we could need. The guestbook also had some great recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and we particularly enjoyed the fact that we could walk up the hill from the house into a hiking / vista area without getting in our car. This was a great find!

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

I stayed here with my wife and 15 month old daughter. It was a perfect getaway for our family, located right off PCH with easy access to local beaches and restaurants. The home was very well appointed with everything we could need including kitchenware as well as toys for our developing toddler. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. You can’t beat the view from the hot tub!

Absolutely Stunning Stay! This stay was truly memorable. The views were unreal — panoramic ocean vistas and the most breathtaking sunsets right from the property. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What made the stay even better was the host — incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Really enjoyed the location and the enclosed patio so we could sit outside and enjoy the ocean view keeping out of the wind. Lots of things to do in the area if you like hiking and exploring.

What a serene respite away into such a calm, beautiful, thoughtful space. Pack what you need and just stay awhile, the environment is one where you never want to leave. Very comfy bed, such thoughtful decor, and a calming outdoor space. It's tucked into a little neighborhood in Bolinas with dirt roads and the best smells imaginable : ) that's west Marin for you. Cozy, well appointed and surrounded by nature, the Beach Trail Cottage is one of the best Airbnbs I've ever experienced. Great location, view and amenities. Jonathan was communicative and had great recommendations.
